Photoshop Question.

Apologies if I made this thread in the wrong section, but I didnt know where else to put it.

Anyway, have just got photoshop and am currently in the learning stages and I have what should be a relatively easy question for you more 'experienced' users.

I make a canvas (or paper), then I load up my render, but it appears on a different canvas. Question is, how do I get the render on that canvas.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

on the tool bar on the upper right should be a black arrow icon, use that to drag individual layers anywhere

Ctrl + A to select all, Ctrl + C to copy, and finally Ctrl + V to paste.

Don't make a new canvas and just open it then...

easiest way would be when the new canvas pops up just drag the layer that you want directly onto that image, automatically copies it
