Between PS2 and PS3, which would you choose?

-Is the third one any good?

Of course I'd choose PS3. PS3's are pretty much the same as a PS2 except better at everything it does, such as much better graphics, can play Bluray rather than DVD, has a larger hard drive, has wireless controllers, supports HD-TV, and has built in Wi-fi (for the premium version).

I just got one for my brother who likes playing games very much.

Yes, ofcourse a PS3 is an amped up PS2, so going for the PS3 is obvious if you don't care about the price.

But if you do, I truly recommend a PS2, it's cheap, games are cheap and really good (Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts series, Prince of Persia, God of War, etc.) It's the console with the most and best games after all.

Ps3 is much better than Ps2. It is much better in graphics. It can play Bluray rather than DVD. It has a hard drive and it has wireless controlls and supports HD-TV. But one should go with Ps2 because it's cheap.Games are cheap. :D
