I Need Help, What Are Your Top Favorite Games?

I need help, I just bought a PS2, I didn't have enough money for ps3 and I'm trying to get games but I can't find out which games are the best. I've been reading game reviews but i get a 50% chance of the game turning out to be good.. Can people please tell me their Favorite games? that woul really help a lot.. Thanx! =]

Final Fantasy 12 is really good. Also Guitar Hero is very cool! But its rather expensive at 60 and 70$. Killzone is pretty fun too.

Gran Turismo and Grand Theft Auto series are great, also NHL 08, NFL 08, and like ^ said, Guitar Hero 3 is a great game.

Yes depending on what kind of games you like:

RPG: Final Fantasy 10 or 12 (Dont buy X-2, it's a horrible failure)

Action/RPG: Kingdom Hearts 2, but beforehand I suggest playing 1, so get that or both.

Survival/Horror: Fatal Frame 3, king of Survival/Horror games.

Sandbox: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, good long game that will keep you fun and busy.

Racing(Serious): Grand Turismo 4, huge game, I do mean huge

Racing(Fun): Burnout 3 or whichever part is out now for PS2.

Pure Fun: Guitar Hero 2, so addicting, and so much fun.

Action: Prince of Persia or God of War, personally I enjoy Prince of Persia more since hitting buttons at the right times isn't realy that much action for me, I love the acrobatics of the Prince.

Grand Theft bAuto San Andreas is an awesome game!. My fav. thing to do is to customize my car into a racing car. (nascar style, except cooler) Another is James Bond: Everything or Nothing. It is in 3rd person mode so you can actually see James instead of looking through his eyes!

Cool. I always play in 3rd person. I just don't like using 1st, and Lock-on mode is wierd. Okay, but wierd.

And also this is an old thread and you have posted in a couple of these in the past few days so just watch out. You can check the dates of the last post in the top left hand corner of the post.
