i own a 20 odd year old nes which has just broken down in december with a bent mother board iam going to repair the nes but not soon
HISTORY OF MY NES
the nes was bought from rumbelows cross gates leeds £99 for my dad by my dad he used it for many years until we moved from our old home when we moved the nes was used for a year and then we got a psx or ps1 whatever you want to call it. the nes was then stroed in a cupbord under a cloth it was only until last christmas i noticed it was there as the nes was put up there when i was young i got it down and took the cloth off and it was looking brand new so instead of playing on the new xbox i got i hooked the nes up got super mario bros out and turned it on and suprise suprise it has the uswuel blinking light prob so i ventured on taking it apart opend it up blowed it and dust came out but i didnt stop there took all of the inners cleaned the connectors black stuff came off the put it back together and it worked sought of ok but not that well so about couple weeks in of normal playing and the nes started the light prob really bad so opend it up thinking it was the pin connectior what had finally gone and what happend the nes mother board had actually bent its self not too bad but i can fix it so i will keep you up to date with the progress as it has not been touched scince :)
