Well, I know when my gamecube has that problem, I take the card out and put it in again while it is running. It fixes it everytime. But the Ps2 probably doesn't work that way. If you take it out and put it back in, and it still has corrupt data, you will have to get a new one.

Switch PS2 on, go to browse, select the memory card and delete the crupted data.

It may be your memory card's internal workings, try getting another card and copy the data. It may decorrupt it. If not, just start a new game and data.

Dude, i dunno how to get rid of the corrupted data, but I'm pretty sure how you got it. When you were saving the game thats data is corrupted, it probably says "Do not remove memory card or switch off PS2". When it says something like that it is usually for a reason. if you didn't turn it off, it probably froze or something.

I had the same problem with one of my memory cards. It was a big one, 60mb I think, and it wasn't saving. A guy at a game store told me to only buy Sony memory cards. Play station is Sony so you might as well buy a Sony card.;)

Edit: btw I never got my 60mb card to work.
