Hey guys. Sorry for my inactivity but things have been extremely hectic for me lately. Anyways, I got the idea for this thread the other day at school and I thought it was worth a shot.

So your probally wondering what this thread is about. Well, if you have an idea for an RPG, post a summery of it here! Share your ideas with each other. Help each other out, give some constructive criticism and some ideas so they an make their story even better. Also, you can talk about upcoming RPG's that you've planned out and is 100% completed. You can discuss Sequels too.

Basically, this thread is about your RPG's and your ideas for an RPG. I'll go ahead and post what new RPG I have going on as an example of how the thread works.

Legends Of The Spring

Xen. An alien universe that took over the world when a simple Project went horribly wrong. Three Billion lives were lost as well as mankinds freedom. Unbelievable secrets were uncovered when the Xenkind took over. The world that we knew before the Xenkind even came was all a lie.

Okay, I have a question. Since Jack's basically done being angry and the whole Tyrant-Tyne and Jack-Sess thing is over, is there any way we could like.. restart The End? Or at least that series? I really liked that series and it was quite epic. The End is preferred so we dun have to start all over.

Yeah, I really liked that series too. Unfortunately, The End cannnot be continued. We only got through 10% of the entire story because of the arguement. lol, i only got to make like five posts in that story, with the two misfortunate characters who never really got a real chance to have the spotlight. Oh, well.. Never really thought of them as interesting characters in the first place.

Yeah, I read through it out of complete boredum (and no one was on teh chat thing, so I was reading through old fanfics). The ending was epic, imo. Although, I would've been happy to have RPed it out with Flame & Toshiko, who would've made things worse. =/ But yeah, when you make that new series, I'll gladly join! And as for the reply, you're very much welcome. ^^

Doesn't look like anyone's interested in my little Pokeyman rpg (along with the other one - only one person joined). I'm not really surprised, though I was kinda hoping some people would join since the story I had planned for the rpg seemed kinda good. It's pretty like any of my previous stories, just Pokemon style. Eh, whatever.. Not many people often join my rpgs anyway for some reason. I can understand why since I'm rather rash and impatient in the story progress. I'll try to adjust this flaw ONCE people actually start joining my stories.


Also, since in an unexpected turn alot of people joined my Broken Angel Socrates rpg, I just want to state that it isn't dead.. I'll revive it sometime later, not now. Kinda lost interest in continuing my stories. I'll revive BAS, that is, if you guys are even still interested in the rpg still.. O_o

Also, I'm thinking of taking FEL's advice and starting a new story having to do with my old RPG The End... It took an early retirement due to some.. complications that won't be discussed here. We know what they are. But Can you guys maybe give me some ideas for the story. Maybe some villian ideas or for some new characters maybe?

I could use my two characters from one of my other RPs. And we could make Flame-chan's brother a villain along with some other random character. ^^ As for story ideas, we could base it around 30 some odd years after The End, with new characters and Lance & that other girl's kids and then Tyrant & Kumiko's kids. ...Although, I don't know how Flame-chan and her-- Oh, wait I got an idea for that too. Flame-chan & her brother would have both had kids by then, so Flame's kid would be helping the world and her brother's kid would be trying to destroy it.

^I like the idea but Key's has no kids due to an unfortunate accident, his brother would be 46, so i guess if that idea occurs, it would be Key's brothers' son. I will have to build upon that. Havent rp'ed in awhile So forgot some of my char.s names.

^^^ I think you should make a spinoff rather then a sequel. The only ideas I have is that a curse, a virus, is spreading around and infecting people. The virus gives it's host supernatural powers which causes them to "mutate". After absorbing the blood of it's host, the virus grows a physical form and grows into what is called a Guarder. The Guarder and it's host then acts in harmonized and synchronized symbiosis, fighting together. However, some people (the antagonists, I suppose) see this plague as a potential danger and causes mischief and diaster, hunting down those who have a Guarder. Something like that..

... That was originally the story I was going to put up instead of that Pokemon one, which seems dead now since no one seems to be bothering to join. My mistake, I suppose. I guess playing Diamond got to my head, thinking that Pokemon would actually be a fairly decent story.

Okay. Some great ideas guys, thanks a ton. I like AK's (Can I call you AK, that's what I'm used too.) idea of making the next story a spin-off rather then sequel. It fit's in better for what I have in mind. As for FEL's idea, The children will be the Main characters. I love the idea of that. Though that doesn't mean I'm taking Lance/Kain out of the picture. I plan on making him have a part in the story but for the majority just a support character.

You do know I just put up two brand new stories not too long ago, right? Probably only a couple of days have passed since, both are only on page 1. Tales of Chronicles X is still in the prologue stage.. So it's reccommanded to wait until it hits the first chapter, which will be soon hopefully.

Okay, I've thought about the RPG today. I've kinda gotta it set up in my head now. Be expecting it After Legends of the Spring.

Speaking of Legends of the Spring. We'll probally finish up on that pretty soon. Don't expect LOTS to be too big. I really like the story, and I like the way it's turning out. And having you guys add your own little side stories is awesome and I love the creativity. But I want the series to be more like episodes instead of big stories like "The End" was. If you guys understand what I'm saying.

Well yeah. Sure. But you can also have your own control over the story. In a regular RPG, the creator's story is the one your usally going to go by, but in LOTS you can create your own little stories as long as it has to do with the main idea.

Yeah, I admit, we tend to do that alot.. Especially when they start to get good. ^_^'' But, yeah, I'm willing to slow down a bit, if it means we'll get more people to join.. If you want to, you guys can join "Tales of the Medallion". I'm basing it off of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and my own little things.. Plus, considering it's based off Fire Emblem, it would work alot better if I had more then one person (me and AK..) It'd be more fun and plus, we're not anywhere through story yet, so after the battle with Petrine, you guys can come in... Be something like you were locked in the building and Greil saved you and you owe him a debt, so you're joining up with the mercenaries or something.. Easy. So, if some of you are willing to join, I'll start it back up...

Jeez.. Prior to so much boredom and stressful work from school, ideas have been rushing through my head and I'm keep coming up with piles of stories. It's kinda driving me nuts actually. Recently though I've been thinking of two stories. One which is more "dark" and "serious" that is part of the little Tales series we have going on here and another "more comical" and "light-hearted" based on once more from Pokemon, seeing how popular it suddenly got in my school (more and more, people keep talking about the games - they're even playing the classic Pokemon games on the Gameboy during classes.).



From today, I've decided to post up Previews of my upcoming stories before actually posting em up. This is to see if people are actually interested in such material, and also so I can get some ideas and opinions before I actually put up the story.


The first one is called Tales of Nocturnia (current title).

This is one of my few original stories. The story takes place during a world war crisis between two races, the humans and the descendant of Gods commonly known as the Geneus species. The world war was eventually transformed into a massacre, as humans began growing more powerful through technology, becoming far more superior then the Geneus who are in danger of becoming extinct.

The current protagonist is a young mercenary named Adge, who was once part of the Order of the Cross. For unknown reasons, Adge left the Order and is now being hunted down by the Order for his renegade status. Adge (as well as a group of other mercenaries) awakens a sleeping Geneus who happens to be the child of the King of Gods.. Her name is Cresent - or so what Adge named her. From here, the characters just end up dealing with the problem, with the Order of the Cross being the current antagonists of the story during that point.




The second, though doesn't have an actual title yet, will go by something like Topaz and Amethyst - following the style of the Pokemon games (Red and Blue, Gold and Silver, ect.).

This story follows the classic plotline of the games, a young kid becoming a trainer and traveling around the world and all that nonsense. It takes place in Sinnoh, seeing how lazy I am in taking the time to make a brand new region. But it features alot of new characters, all of which are obviously OCs. The primary protagonist is a young traumatized boy named Seki who hates everything and refuses to leave his town and eventually grows a very strong bond with Rie - his Ralts which evolves to the somewhat popular yet not very popular Pokemon Gardevoir (Sirnight?). The antagonists consist both a "stereotypical" criminal organzation called Devil Gang (led by Boss Akuma) and a legion of Deities called the Element Seals (led by Lord Mao). This story, though based on Pokemon, is inspired by several Harem stories as the male protagonist is often thrown into awkward romance siduations while dealing with the tedious problems that end up becoming a huge one at the end.

Those both sound like amazing stories and I'd definatly join both. I was thinking of making a story based around Final Fantasy: Ring of Fates, just to kick off my return to RPs, but I haven't decided yet. =/

I felt like being evil. So I did what anybody would do. I became evil, just for the day.

LOTS is done. Finished. Ended. Expect the sequel whenever I feel like it. Or when you guys force me. ;)

The Next RPG I have planned is the Spin-Off of "The End" Series. I still need to think about the story a little and it won't be up for at least another 3 weeks, as I will be on vacation in Oregon for 2 weeks.

Yeah. All of the main characters are in this but they are just supporting. This is about everyones kids.

The Main Side are the Kids or teenagers or whatever.

The Other Side is the Adults.

Yeah. It's basically 2 scenarios and the RPG will have Chapters.

For Example...

Chapter 1 will be like an introduction with everyone together.

Chapter 2 starts off with the Kids

Chapter 3 switches to adults to tell what they were doing when Chapter 2 was happening.

Chapter 4 Back to the kids

Exactly. And the events that happen will ultimately bring the two sides together again.

Now as for the upcoming sequel to LOTS, If anyone has some ideas they are much appreciated. I wanted a cliffhanger that would leave the story open for millions of possiblitys, so I tried my best. Now I'm just trying to come up with some ideas.

Looks like Tales of Nocturnia is going to be delayed, being replaced by Vector. I like how Vector is turning out so far, but things are going a bit too slow in my opinion.. I might speed up, just a bit.

Currently, I'm still working on Pocket Monsters Cross (final title) - that hasn't left my interest. Being a light-hearted, comical harem story based off of one of my favourite game series, to contrast that of my other story Vector. It might come out early - but I seriously doubt seeing as I have like three - four different stories of my own currently going on, not to mention I'm in other stories as well. But who knows, I might be extremely bored and randomly post it up.


So far for the plotline, I made a few tweaks here and there but it still follows the classic plotline of the Pokemon games, specifically Diamond and Pearl as it takes place in Sinnoh. It starts out with an alien being named Amnis who was accidentally transported from his dimension to the Sinnoh region. There, he is found by the protagonist (Either named Seki or Topaz) and he (along with other characters) agrees to help Amnis get back to his home dimension. At the same time, the protagonist and the other characters set off on their little "exciting Pokemon journey".

And yeah.. the story clearly takes place in the Pokemon universe, it's based off of other media and stories.

I also have my own story up of Pokemon. I have had this story in my mind once I saw Yugioh GX 2 years ago. Its going to be an open story where you can do whatever you want as long as you stay within the rules. Its Called Pokemon Academy. and heres a basic story

Gary Oak, now 52 years old, has finally opened up Pokemon Academy. This illustrious academy is on what used to be Cinnabar Island before the massive Volcano. Aspiring trainers from 10-13 years old have come to the academy not just to learn about Pokemon but to receive their life long friend. Etc, etc

Basically, I'll need at least 5 people. On your sign up you will put down your personality and I will give you your starting pokemon from that. I will post a list of classes and you can pick any 4 that you want and thats how daily life at the acdemy will go on. You can eat in the cafeteria between classes, or look for pokemon around the school to catch. There will be a school wide Tournament which I will ref to be fair. Also on the first post I will tell you which pokemon are availiable where. on the island you have the Sand Dunes, Lava Pit(its where the sleeping volcano), water pokemon can be caught in the ocean around you or around the hot springs, grass pokemon can be caught in the grass or on the trees, some flying pokemon, etc. I need to get everything straight before I start it but thats a rough draft.

You know, I am seriously getting sick and tired of fantasy stories. Stories that involve intense swordfights, magic, dragons, elves. They are just so cliche. I mean, I don't hate fantasy, don't get me wrong here. And I can understand that they're the easiest stories to role play. But DAMN. I just can't stand it anymore - I even hate my own stories now, excluding Vector since that's sci-fi.

I just want something different for a change..

Recently, I came up with a new story. This one's a supernatural story. Why supernatural? I always wanted to make a supernatural story. This story, inspired by other supernatural stories.. This is roughly done. Here's what I have so far..

The story centers around the life of Kuro Iizuna, an oridinary yet bored high school student. He doesn't have any outstanding traits, so he is commonly seen as an average, normal boy who - from time to time - stands out from the crowd occasionaly. One day, he finds an unusual novel with no author name but just a title written in capital letters, "DESTINY NOVEL". All the pages inside are strangely left blank, and the first page has a space. Above it reads "Write your name here". After signing his name, the book is suddenly filled in mysteriously afterwards. Curious, Kuro reads through the book, only to realize that his entire lifetime has been recorded in the novel. From Chapter 0/Prologue [Birth] to chapter 2 [My First Birthday] to chapter 16 [The present time]. The entire book is telling the story of Kuro's past lifetime. However, it doesn't stop there.. After reading Chapter 16, Kuro learns about the future events of his life have been recorded as well. Skipping through several pages, he finally reaches the final chapter, numbered 83 [Time of Death], despite how uncanny it was as the book lacked that many pages to reach such a chapter. At the end of chapter 83, reads the death of Kuro Iizuna and has THE END written on the bottom. Flipping through the few final pages, Kuro then discovers instructions of some sort written at the very last page. His eyes are focusing on text that have been colored blood red.

To the one who is in possession of this DESTINY NOVEL, here are the basic instructions. By writing your name, this DESTINY NOVEL has just recorded all details of your entire life. Each chapter contains details of a specific year of your lifetime, and explains them all as a story. Each chapter has been numbered to match that specific time period (I.e, Chapter 4 = the fourth year of your life). From birth to the current time, to the future and to the time of death which is THE END. You are able to modify and edit the storyline of your DESTINY NOVEL which ultimately changes the events that will occur in your lifetime. You are only able to modify future events - events that have yet to occur in your life. If you try to change the past, simply nothing will happen. Anything you edit and write in your future will happen, no matter how unrealistic it may be. However, there is an exception. You cannot use the DESTINY NOVEL to affect others in anyway - the events can only effect yourself and only yourself. Another important note: You must protect your DESTINY NOVEL at all cost. As it holds your very life. If it is destoryed, so will your life.

Amazed by the discovery and truth about the book, Kuro begins playing around with his DESTINY NOVEL. He begins modifying details of all his upcoming future events, making all the outcomes positive. However.. on a certain day. He checks his DESTINY NOVEL, which has been completely altered which leaves Kuro in a frightened state. It ends at chapter 16 instead of 83.. with the very last paragraph colored in blood red; "Kuro is cornered by the mystreious shadowy figure at the end of an alleyway.. Trapped, he is then stabbed twenty-six times in the stomach by a sharp knife object, with no way of defending himself. He falls to the cold ground and bleeds to his unfortunate death.. THE END."

That sounds interesting! But would every character have this book or just Kuro?

I agree with you. All the RPs in the RPR are all fantasy/swordfights and stuff like that. I'm trying something new for a change. (Clash of Swords is my last fantasy RP for awhile now.) I may throw in a fantasy RP here and there, but not as many as I've done in the past. =/

Well, Kuro isn't the only one holding a Destiny Novel. There are exactly fourteen Destiny Novels in total, including the one Kuro has. Ten of these books happen to be in possession of antagonists or people who aren't really consider "friendly". The other three remaining Destiny Novels are in possession of three of my characters. Depending on the story events, these Destiny Novels will be shared between their owners and other characters.

Well I decided to post up the story today, as I'm pretty much ready to get it started. I'm not really fond of posting another story that has a "similar" atmosphere to my other story, Vector but..

^Well, depending on how this story turns out and how it works, might help me with this Death Note-type RPG I've been thinking of ever since I first watched it, considering it just ended last week on Adult Swim and I've got some ideas.. The thing I liked about it was that it was unpredictable. I'm just having trouble trying to figure out how it could work out, though. Giving everyone Death Notes would be catastrophic and wouldn't work.. See, what my problem is is that I'm trying to figure out a way for everyone to be involved in the main part of the story and not be left out... That's probably why Fantasy stories are so easy to do, it's easier to make sure that everyone feels like they're apart of the RPG. Other stories are good, if you can keep everyone in it.. I usually hit a writer's block. >_<'' Hmm.. Ehh, I'll keep thinking. If anyone has any ideas for me, just go ahead and shoot..

@LM: Maybe you could just give the main characters Death Notes. =/ Or one Death Note per person's character. (As in one of my characters has a Death Note, one of your characters has a Death Note, etc.) Just an idea, really.

Also, I agree with pokemonfreak. We do need more RPers in Snowed In. It's kinda boring with just one person RPing. xD

^^Lol, thanks. But I don't really consider any of my stories spectular since they aren't really original.

^To be honest, that'd still get a bit complicated later on. I honestly think that there should be only one Death Note at the beggining.. I mean, It just seems ridiculous if more then one Death Note is present at that time. And besides even if a character doesn't have a Death Note (or whatever strange item they hold), doesn't necessarily mean that they can't be important to the story. My only idea I have here is that the protagonist who holds the Death Note makes some kind of alliance with other characters, through whatever means and negotiations necessary, as he/she is shown not being capable of getting things done on his/her own because of whatever circumstances they're under. This way, he/she can get everyone involved "massively" by using them as pawns for his/her plans, making them just as important as they help the one with the Death Note achieve their goal.. If they have a goal, that is. o_O'' I dunno.. That's what I have for the whole "getting everyone involved" issue and this is what I'm planning to do for my story Destiny Novel. But, yeah. If you do happen to get the story done LM, you should post it up regardless of what you think.

I was thinking of creating a Pokémon RP.. =/ Basically, the main character (who is currently nameless) and his/her friends are attending a normal high school in Twinleaf Town (yes, it takes place in Sinnoh). But one day, when they're in class, they hear an explosion and the main character & his/her friends go to investigate when they learn that Darkrai and Arceus and Dialga and Palkia are at war. So the characters go back in time to freeze time by looking for little crystals called Time Crystals. And then they go back to their time and defeat Dialga, Palkia, Darkrai, and Arceus and everything goes back to normal. =/

It's not totally complete yet, but if anyone has any suggestions or questions, go ahead and put them out there.

Eh, sorry about that. After where you left off, three months passed by. The story is currently taking place at Kuro's school, in his classroom.. But because both your character and Nova's are in a different age group then Kuro's, I guess you'll have to be absent for a little while. Or just quit.. I won't mind, I think I'm going a bit too fast anyway (seeing as how it's a completely different kind of story).


Anyways. I'm planning on releasing a new "classic-style" RPG, a remake on Tales of Chronicles under the new title "Chronos Chronicle", with the plotline altered and based off of many classic stories and video games, though being as original as possible. The main character is Cho. Some might actually know him - he's quite possibly my first major character ever created and has been in most of my previous rpgs (as well as other people's rpgs), whether he's one of the protagonists or just a side character, or even just a cameo.

The plotline is pretty much simple. It's an oridinary day at the Mystic Village.. Everyone is running their daily normal lives, until Segma - the Lord of the Blood Lions who all vanished two years ago - makes a returning appearence and attacks the Mystic Village, as his mission for revenge. Despite being so serious, Segma is quickly defeated by the force of the Mystic Village.. Suddenly, Adaki (Crispy, for those I role-played with long before) makes a return as well and challenges everyone into a fight. Adaki or rather Crispy hasn't made an appearence for a very long time.. He was my second major character after Cho and acted like a mentor to him in ways. Sadly he was ultimately replaced by my most overused character Junko, which is ironic to me in some ways. o_O'' Actually.. You could even say Junko IS Crispy since Junko's character is pretty much that of Crispy's.. Huh. But.. Enough mumbling.

As for my two current stories? Destiny Novel is going fine so far, surprisingly. Vector on the other hand is.. I dunno. It's not turning out the way I wanted it to. I feel like I'm screwing around too much. I kinda lost most interest.. On top of that, I forgot who the main antagonist was going to be. Yeah, how embarassing is that? Needless to say, I'm kinda fed up with Vector so to those who are in Vector: Feel free to take over, or simply just quit.

Lol! I miss everyone to be honest! But, yeah.. Be expecting Chronos Chronicle to come out soon. Be expecting some significant changes too. The notable changes I've made so far; Name changes. Cho being more calm and a bit more logical, in previous stories Cho was hyperactive and had a horrible temper, as well as being quite dopey. Cho's history has been modified slightly, no longer seen as a monster or treated as an outcast. Junko has a sister, which is funny since Junko originally intended to come from a giant family. Kliser is a soldier of the Holy Circle rather then a swordsman instructor - he's also very violent and brash and now acts as Cho's rival rather his best friend as shown in previous stories. Adaki (Crispy*) is a powerful and infamous criminal rather then being known as one of those who were killed in action. Also, Okami (Originally known as Oryuko) has also changed. Instead of being a demonic spirit sealed within Cho, it's actually a guardian spirit who guides him. With all that, additional characters have been added, while a few old ones have been taken out. Solaris Knights (i'll be amazed if you remember these guys) makes a return too, now known as the Holy Circle.

With all that, the things that haven't changed are; the locations (Mystic Village, Elemental Country, ect.), major past events (i.e, the reunion of Symphonia, Yanoku, the Chess Pieces), Segma and the Blood Lions (Segma is still patheic), the legendary weapons and Junko's lazy but b!tchy attitude.. I mean if I had to change that, I might as well make a new character lol.

Haha, I miss RPing with Flame alot with you guys. :3 (I mean, recently, I've been RPing with her in Inferno's & Some1's RPs.) She would always cause trouble, but I'd probably have to alter her history a little bit since it's high time I did that. :3

I remember the Solaris Knights vaguely. I don't think I was ever in that RP for very long. xD I remember a lot of the things that happened in some of the fantasy RPs, but not alot of them. I remember Mystic Village & Elemental Country completely. =D The Chess Pieces I remember too. And Junko always made me laugh with his lazy, but b!tchy attitude. xD So yeah. Despite the fact that I wasn't in those RPs, I still remember a lot about them. =/

Another change is the sourge of energy that people run on. Originally, it was a mix of Mana and Chakra, as well as a third type of power (whatever it was). I have a new type of energy that I think is more appropriate for the story. Known as wave motions, commonly called "Surge". What exactly Surge is, it's a form of spirtual energy and is commonly known as the essense of all living beings. This essense can't be seen by "most" humans, but it can be manipulated/harnessed and used to perform magic or attacks. Wave motions frequency are like fingerprints, so no one should have the same kind aura of surge around their body.. You get the idea. More about Surge will be explained later on in Chronos Chronicle.

With that said, I'm pretty much finished Chronos Chronicle's plotline. What? Already? Jeez, I must have no life :P But it is a remake, so it's understandable.

Well, with my recent RPing on a Harry Potter RP forum [liek omg; I RP on a Harry Potter forum!], I got the idea to create a Harry Potter RP. [Though, with my muse having gone down the crapper, I doubt that I'll be making it anytime soon, if I even make it.] Basically, the storyline will take place during Harry and friend's fifth year at the school with all events up to the beginning of the fifth book. [I refuse to type spoilers. You want spoilers? You PM me.] But the plot & storyline will be altered slightly. [But not a whole lot.] I suppose I'll type up the plot summary that I had in mind

Harry Potter and his friends are going into their fifth year at Hogwarts. As with every other year, strange events have been occuring within the school and outside of it. The Order of the Phoenix has members stationed within the school to protect the students should there be an attack. But when things go wrong just halfway through the school year involving a group of first years [this will most likely be changed because I can't stand RPing first years; it's so BORING!], the Order of the Phoenix and the rest of the school is driven to insanity as they try to solve the cause of this problem.

The problem? A group of first years have been causing trouble in secret ever since they had been sorted and placed into various houses - Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Order of the Phoenix member that is currently unnamed finds the results of these mysterious attacks over the next seven years that these "pranksters" are at the school. A search party consisting of three [or four, haven't decided yet] unnamed Order members along with Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks search the school under the command of the headmaster/headmistress [haven't decided yet]. Only one thing is certain. These students know more than they should for their age.

So yeah. As you can see, the plot is still under construction. I'm thinking of changing the time frame & creating a fact sheet and so much more. [The idea has been running in my head for days now; possibly even weeks] Once I get a final idea as to what I'm going to be doing, I'll post up the plot on here. :) Until then, expect updates on this & other possible stories that I may or may not make. xD

Well. After experimenting here and there.. I realized dark and serious rpgs don't work out well, as too many people (including myself) "goof" off and make the story lose it's atmosphere. I dunno.. In [V]ector, although I'll admit that the events were quite ridiculous, many of the characters acted and felt too unrealistic which worsened the storyline. I guess I shouldn't really go for dark and serious rpgs. o_O'' And seeing how majority of the people in Destiny Novel pretty much quit.. Destiny Novel isn't going out well anymore. I was trying to put in a more "horrifying and intensifying" atmosphere but.. Yeah, obviously that didn't work out well. It's so hard to make it feel scary since I can't put in strong visuals. Just simple, bland text that can barely describe anything. If I have to be more description, I end up writing a nine million word essay and who's gunna bother to read all that? Well.. I dunno. Destiny Novel was a fun "experiment", same with [V]ector. I've been making a couple of experiment rpgs these days..

Lately, I have like four stories that I've recently been thinking about.

1. Alucas: A spinoff to Chronos Chronicle (and it's previous stories) that takes place in the Infernal Country called Abraham - tells the story about Alucas, a young powerful vampire who seeks for revenge. Alucas' character constrasts that of Cho's - Cho is more valiant and compassionate while Alucas is ruthless and extremely agressive.

2. Tellus: A Pocket Monster (Pokemon) rpg, featuring light-hearted humor and cute romance, as well as some twists here and there. Tellus takes place in the fictional Farbe region. The male protagonist (hero) is Seki, a young orphan who suffered from amnesia and possesses telepathic powers. The female protagonist (heroine) is Nagare Yokuka who also possesses telepathic powers. Inspired by Mother (Earthbound) and obviously the Pokemon games.

3. Meta-Fighters Crisis Combat: A mecha rpg, somewhat inspired by LM's Code Death; Treason rpg. The main protagonist is a mercenary callsigned Spade who leads the Espada Team (Cuori, Trefle, Rhombus). ... Something happens. War? I dunno.. Haven't got far in this one yet.

4. Perfect Justice!: A super hero rpg. Inspired by classical super hero comic books; Spiderman, Superman, X-Men, ect. The protagonist is Rufus Jones who possesses extraoridinary powers. He uses these powers to become the super hero called The Man in Red which is often shorten to just Redman. Perfect Justice! centers around a legion of superheroes (like Justice League?). This one's more of the western style. This one features alot of "breaking the fourth wall" moments as well.

Tellus is almost done. It's my upcoming rpg. It's a very light-hearted and cute story, as to contrast with that of Vector's and Destiny Novel's dark and serious atmosphere, so people will probably find it easier to role play since they like to act comically rather then act serious about the siduations. On top of that, Tellus is a Pocket Monster (a.k.a Pokemon) rpg - as I mentioned before.

In my honest opinion, I really doubt anyone expected me to make a Pocket Monster rpg. Well.. Originally, I never really had ANY intention of creating a Pokemon story since I completely lost interest in the popular franchise eversince I entered the fifth grade. By that time, no one really talked about Pokemon that much so it just became boring. However, recently in high school, many of my classmates began playing the original Pokemon on the Gameboy during classes. This brought me some nostalgic moments and made me re-play some of the old Pokemon games from the past. Now fully grown and matured [sarcasm..], I actually got into the storyline of the Pokemon games, unlike before where all I cared was about catching @#$%ing legendaries like Rayquaza, Lugia, Mewtwo or Mudkip. Well.. As expected, it was kinda dull. None of it felt intense, satisfying or interesting. From the start to the end, everything felt really empty to me. The entire world of Pokemon felt like a strange, twisted utopia where no one's in any "real" danger. I mean, lose against a ravaging ancient beast and all that happens is that you lose a couple of cash. I wanted to make a story to disregard all that utopia nonsense.

However, I kept delaying the story because it followed too much to the actual games. It just makes me wanna play the games instead of creating an actual rpg. Eventually halfway through, I had time to play a game called Mother 2 (Earthbound). I was really impressed by this game. So as a tribute, I decided to combine the elements and plotline of Earthbound and Pocket Monsters together, to see what kind of result I'll get. There, I got Tellus.

Recently, I've been looking up a couple of other Pokemon rpgs - just to get some hints on how to manage a Pokemon rpg (i'm not a hardcore fan here). Not to be blunt but they were all absolutely horrendous. O_o It's actually one of the big reasons why I delayed my original Pocket Monster rpg, because I feared that it'll end up the same way as those other stories. I guess one of the reasons why they sucked was because the Pocket Monsters themselves lacked any actual personalties and were often portrayed as mindless creatures that have no other purpose then to act like slaves. On top of that, we have the dumb Anime name-calling gimmick as their only dialouge, though there usually a translation to what they're saying.. But it turns out to be pointless anyway since they're mindless creatures with no actual personality. I'm going to change all of that in Tellus. Pocket Monsters can officially "talk" to humans, not having to make animal noises or shout out their names over and over. Reasons being is because the main characters have telepathic powers.


... Yeah, I usually like refering Pokemon as Pocket Monsters. Pocket Monsters sounds a "bit" cooler then Pokemon. Plus, I don't feel like putting the little emphasis in the E in Pokemon.

^Actually, I'm having a few problems here myself that are keeping me from spending much time on C/D. The first is this goddamn rogue software my computer's been infected with. It's slowing down my computer and flooding my screen with annoying pop-outs. I'm trying to find a safe way to remove it. Just to be a bit safe, I usually have my computer off and avoiding spending much time on the net. I'm also having some issues with school. I slacked off ALOT last year. :P And this year's the big one - the one that counts the most, so I'll have to spend more time on studies in order to get those grades. Agh.. It's going to be a tiresome year. Gaah.. I cannot wait to get into college.

With that said I'll still go on ocassionally to continue some rp's, just not as frequently active as before.. I'm not sure what to do with Code Death, lol.

Oh, man.. I just thought of a story.. But I already posted up Aether so I can't post it until some other time. The story's based off of the Guilty Gear games, which recently I've gotten into. This story is like that of a fighting arcade game - stating that rather having a linear storyline like most RPGs, there are plot threads which are character-driven (each character makes up a chapter of the story). If you ever played a fighting video game and ever cared about the storyline style, that's what I mean.. You'll get it once I post it up.

The story takes place on an alternative Earth. Various characters have been inherited from previous stories. I.e, the main protagonist is a character named Cho Redman, obviously based off of Cho in Chronos Chronicle (and other titles). Basically, Earth has been completely destoryed and caused a deadly mutagenic substance called Plasma to form. Plasma has extraoridinary energy producing properties, therefore being very valuable to humans. In such, "Hunters" typically search and steal Plasma from others, creating a competitive survival.

^^^The remake shouldn't be the same as Skies of Arcadia. It should be a completely different story, just having few similar elements. This remake should only have Skies of Arcadia has an influence. Speaking of which, I heard there's going to be a sequel. I really hope they do make a sequel.. Skies of Arcadia was a pretty good game, it would be nice if they made an official sequel. Even if it's suck hard, I'd still play.. :P

For some reason, I lost alot of interest in Chronos Chronicle - surprisingly. o_O I think I ruined it by having that Nihil creature as the main antagonist.. >_<'' The entire story doesn't feel "classic" anymore because of it.. Nihil makes things a bit complicated, which wouldn't be such a problem if it was a different story.. And it looks like no one joining Aether, which ironically had a classic-styled storyline. Hmm.. Well.. I'm thinking of finishing my other rpg (titled Mother Ghost) early. That depends if anyone's interested..

Nihil originated from Brainiac (Superman) and the X Parasite of Metroid Fusion. I was trying to make Nihil feel like a incredible threat.. But that didn't work out so well. Nihil was created in order to replace Cho's alternative anti-clone/doppelganger Castigard.

Anyway, I came to the final conclusion here; Chronos Chronicle is over (sorry..) and Aether is scrapped (I'll think I'll make another Aether later, without Pokemon though). Mother Ghost is arriving shortly.

Well.. I'm not really a Mortal Kombat person. I mean, it's fun decapitating your oppenent's head but I hated the overall combat system. And I never played Phantasy Star, lol. As for Soul Calibur? ... There might a few references, but as I said before - Mother Ghost is based off of Guilty Gear.

Which guys reminded you of whom, by the way? I'm kinda curious now.. Looking back, I realized I got a little sloppy in character development. I was really tired at the time.. ^_^'' I'll edit them later on since I don't have alot time now.

^I've never played nor heard of Guilty Gear, sorry. So, I can't really make that comparsion, but the "Hunters" thing reminds me kind of Phantasy Star 3... Hunters vs Ark, or whatever... And some of the guys remind me of some Soul Calibur dudes (If I'm remembering right, it's been a while. and I can't check, I'm at school. :P) I was just saying if you were dragging a few other elements in it...
Anywho, I've been thinking of three stories lately.
1. Skies Of Arcadia story: I don't have many ideas for this, so people! Would you rather have a remake or more of a "sequel" or a whole different story with elements from it, just gimme some ideas... I haven't gotten very far, so I doubt it'll be up soon.
2. Another Tales of the World. Yeah, I actually have more ideas for this... Will tell more later.

Tales of the World? I either never joined that or I joined it, but dropped out early on. It sounded like a lot of fun though. =/ I know what you're talking about though. I remember seeing the RP up. I would probably join the new one if you did make one though.

And I miss the old days. :P So I'd honestly love to see a remake or something with Clay & all of them. I miss using Balmung & Flame. xD I can't remember the last time I used Flame-chan, but I'm pretty sure it was during the Crystalis saga. =/

The hunter idea actually came from Metroid. I just thought Hunter sounded cool lol And yeah, Guilty Gear seems pretty rare. None of my friends at school have ever heard of it either. It's kinda a shame.. It's a pretty good game, really.

I think you should make a Skies of Arcadia story, definately. The story should VERY different from Skies of Arcadia. You should try to come up with something original, something that'll make the story completely different from Skies of Arcadia, yet at the same time, a bit similar in ways.

Seeing how I only have Mother Ghost going (but no one's joining for some reason?) I'm thinking of creating a rpg, a classic rpg. And I really mean classic this time.. Mother Ghost is relatively short anyway, so I might as well make another story.


I decided to have the name simply Chopin: Dream Eater. Chopin takes place in the "classic" universe, in the world of Symphonia. It takes place right after the events of LM's Tales of the Mystic Orb. Basically it starts out with Cho leaving Mystic Village. "A few others" from Mystic Village tag along with Cho (like Clay, Flame, ect. - basically your favourite character). During their travel, they get attacked by a mysterious child named Jin. He places a curse on Cho (and maybe on the others), causing him to transform into a wooden creature (known as Sprites) called Moku. Afterwards, everyone arrives in the country of Forcia (parallel to their homeland). And yeah, from there.. stuff happens.

Unlike previous stories, you can only have ONE character in this entire rpg. With that said, that doesn't you can only control one character. I'll explain it later..

At least, for me - I never get scared by just reading simple text which is why I just despise horror novels (not that I read novels that often anyway).. But it's a rpg that contains demons, ghosts, vampires and ghouls - you know, for the halloween spirit? :P

Alrighty, so it's gonna be called Tales of The World: Alchemic Mythology. Yes. Best I could come up with... You have a better idea, tell me.
Ok, so I'm gonna steal an idea from AK and have it take place it in a alter timeline, the same as his "Chronos Chronicle", so most of the age differences haven't happened (so that means that characters like Idate, Mia, Soren, etc. haven't been born, it's actually when Clay and the others were 16) and all of the differences that were made in "Chronos Chronicle". and this is somewhat of a remake of the first "Tales of the World". So that means the Chess Pieces have been revived. So, I guess this would be the "Tales of the World" of this alter-timeline, so that means it's before Clay and Kas get glued together.. *Ahem* Okay, so here we go...

One day in the Mystic Village, a strange light flashed out of nowhere in the sky... Clay was outside at the time it happened and decided to go and investigate. The light appeared overhead Mystic Forest and deep in the center, he found a strangely dressed young man. He was unconscious. Clay decided to drag him to Cia and wait until he was awake. He awoke, and revealed his name to be Isaac. Isaac says he came from the world of Angara, a world that uses a power source called "Psynergy", unlike the "Surge" that Clay and his friends use. He says that his world is dying away, due to the loss of Alchemy. Clay has no clue what he's talking about "Alchemy", so he talks to his sister about it... When suddenly an attack is set on the village. It's strange people in even stranger masks, looking for the boy. Clay and his allies fight off the strange people (barely) and Isaac tells them that those guys were Chess Pieces. He tells them that The Chess Piece Clan has been wreaking havoc in the world of Angara. In the middle of a huge fight, the heroes from Angara were badly losing, so one of the oldest heroes, a scholar named Kraden, casted a Dimension-Traveling spell and sent Isaac to Symphonia, telling him to find the heroes of Symphonia and bring them back to help them out with the Chess Pieces. Isaac believes that Kraden knows alot more about the Chess Pieces then he lets on... So, Clay and his allies agree to accompany Isaac to his world. They have to find the strange dimensional rift (or "door") that the Chess Pieces use to travel from world to world. And that's where the journey begins...

Yup, yup. I thought this one through and I like it. ^_^ BTW, it wouldn't be "Tales of the World" if there weren't cameos and other characters from different stories being apart of the story... SO. There's Chess Piece "doors" in the world of Tellius and the world of "Tales of the Gaia". Tellius because there's two important characters there that impact the story. AK's "Tales of the Gaia" world (I forgot what it's called. Shameful of me. >_<) for more entertainment and fun then anything else, 'cuz Shigeki is like my favorite character, behind Clay, of course, so... Yeah. I wanna use him again. I'll probably post this up real soon. Probably tonight, even...

It's based off of Golden Sun, pretty much. With my own twist in there... I've tried doing Golden Sun many times and they all BOMBED, but this one'll be good... I actually thought this one through. :D

Anyway - I have alot o spare time being the patheic and miserable being I am right now, har har har. So, I came up with a new fresh RP story. Before I post it up, I wanna explain it just to verify and see if people are willing to join it.

This new RP of mine is a sci-fi story, something I always wanted to do but never had such an opportunity to do so. Current title is pending, I have plans of naming it; Star Edge, Eternal Heart/Eternal Core or Soul Arcadia. Mostly likely Star Edge, since that sounds catchier and most cool sci-fi stories begin with Star.

The story takes place in a fictional universe. Being a bit lazy, I decided to have the animal kingdom serve as main alien species. So this is my FIRST RP with actual anthromorphics.. Which I find a little odd since anthromorphics work better in visual entertainment, like cartoons or video games - not written stories. But.. animals are cooler then us humans anyway (by the way, humans aren't involved - no, we'd just blow up and destory planets just for stupid reasons anyway, har har har). This Sci-fi RP contains common elements from most space-operas. Most of it was inspired by the Star Wars media (both movies and video games like KOTOR) while the game Star Fox triggered me into making lively and spirited anthromorphics serve as the main species of the galaxy.

The setting of this story is that it takes place in a fictional galaxy called Spiral Lux (known as the Galaxy, much like how we refer to the Milky Way). Technology here is like that of the Star Wars media, which includes lightspeed travel, advanced humanoid robotics and of course laser guns and flashy lightsabers. As for the power used in this story, many people strongly rely on a powerful energy source labeled Psyperium (or Psyper) which is mined and salvaged from unhabitable ruined planets - known as Evanescents. Psyper acts as the Force or Mana for this story.

Most of the Spiral Lux remains unknown to majority of the main characters, as space travel isn't something so common for the oridinary galactic citizens mainly because of currency issues as well as the fact that the galaxy's a dangerous place. However, that doesn't really matter as many of the events depicted in this story take place in Shin's home planetary system - Aether, which is ENORMOUS compared to our solar system (59 planets for crying out loud!! I'm not even including any Evanescents either..) Other systems are usually either visited in a short ammount of time for whatever reason or only mentioned by characters who once lived there.

Unlike previous RPs, this one doesn't focus on just one group only. The protagonistic role sometimes gets shifted to another group in different chapters. The first chapter stars Shin and her friends from the planet Mahako. Later chapters will revolve around a quirky chameleon thief named Kojun - or Ekil and his band "The Gun Spikes" - and even shifts down to the antagonists occasionally, the Talon Mercenaries lead by the malicious cybernetic eagle callsigned Tempest.

Most of these characters eventually become allied with each other to form one huge alliance group at the end to fight the "Big Boss" at the end.. while some of them ends up becoming major enemies.


Also - Loads of cameo references are included in this RP.


In case for the idiots who can't bother reading all that, I'm making a new RP. It's science fiction.

I agree with you 100%. Sometimes I'm guilty of not posting a very long post. The only reason I do though is because I feel like it's a waste of time if someone is just going to answer with a sentence, when we take the time to write a paragraph.

Your also right about the stories. Their to much like each other. And my last two stories (Save "Sunrise") have been "Sword and Magic" free. What was the name of that story though? Wasteland or something. I will revive it. I liked it but it just died. Most likely because of what you were saying about the short posts.

As for the WWYD stories, its an RPG, its just different then what we're used too. You "Vote" on what path you wish to take and depending on what answer is chosen most, I'll continue the story corresponding to the path. Plus, it might draw in people who're not intrested in the regular RPG's.

But that would make little sense in the long run. It'd be better if someone (you) make a long post even if everyone else is just posting three words. At least this way, you can advance the story and make some progress. So actually, rather then it being a waste of time making a long post - you'd actually be wasting even MORE time just by making a short post since the story ends up going nowhere..

I suppose that reflects on the entire world. Some people do all the work and go through all the suffering, while others sit back and laugh their lazy heartless asses off. Assholes.

There's also another RP I might be releasing after my sci-fi one. To get this out of the way, I should explain it.


It's actually a story I've been longing to make as it is created by my childhood memories. Over the years, the story eventually divided up into two different versions.

The first and original version is called Esper. Esper revolves around an alien life form named Rei and a young 16 year old boy Oto Seki along with his "friends". The plottline is something similar of that to that ET movie since they're trying to find Rei a way back home. Esper is a drama story which contains some of my odd humor. This humor is mixed with depression and bizzare horror as many of the characters frequently experience traumatizing and cruel events, which all or most were inspired from some of my childhood nightmares (I personally consider them to be "weird dreams").

In a way, the plotline to Esper is like that of the movie ET's, where an alien life form is trying to find it's way back to it's home world and stuff. Obviously it's not like that. But I don't feel like explaining it that much.. All I really want to state is that the story itself symbolizes the term nostalgia in my point of view. Rei represents my childhood memories and Seki represents myself (my life).


The second version is actually a Pokemon RP called Aether Battle Chronicles (Aether for short). The Pokemon idea was suggested from a friend, as he claimed that Esper seemed like a Pokemon story. At first, I felt kinda stupid having to put so much effort into making a Pokemon story, as they usually suck hardcore. However I eventually gave some actual interest into this, seeing as how all the things that I couldn't put in Esper managed to fit in Aether perfectly. Also.. I suppose I consider myself to be a small Pokemon fan (I loved the games back then). The plotline to Aether is actually like that of Esper's.. just.. with Pokemon. And more characters. And more locations. And more enemies. And antagonists. (Esper doesn't really have an "antagonist").

Actually, I had alot of fun constructing the plotline for Aether! When seen in a certain perspective, the entire story can seen as a giant parody of the stereotypical Pokemon stories. I always thought the Pokemon plots were WAY too juvenile, even when I was young.

I believe that I actually posted Aether (even it's unplanned sequel) here but due to lack of interest, the fact that no one joined and that I already had another story planned, I deleted them.


I really want to put this story up one day as it's one of the few stories where I put alot effort into.

Eh.. Actually I've been also inactive recently. I pop in time to time but I haven't actually made a post for a while..

I've been too caught up with school and other crap like video games. On top of that, I've been RPing in different forums, which is why I RP in a completely different style now.. because they don't tolerate people writing RPs like a drama play. But anyways, with the returnal of LM and his new RP, I guess now is a good time to make a fresh RP myself.

I've been thinking of a few RPs to put up here. By the way, the sci-fi story is cancelled, so don't expect that anytime soon..

I came up with two RPs.


Opaque Core

The first RP, Opaque Core, is the sequel to Tales of Omniscia and known as the "what-if" conclusion of my and LM's classic series, in which all our heroes, classic characters end up dying one way or another in an attempt to put the world at peace once and for all. The story begins with everyone introduced to the Holocaust - a war with the Exclave, an organtization trying to save Symphonia from it's destruction. The story ends with Cho unleashing his "true power". Severely damaging himself constantly in the progress, he destorys the Spacial Fortress called Paradise which was taken over by Cho's "loved one" Tekla. Cho ultimately dies, along with every one of his friends and allies. Among them, the only survivor was Junko, who ended up dying due to illness. This opens a path to a new series known as Mystic Advent. This story actually symbolizes the condition of Cheatingdome.

Currently, this story has alot of flaws and holes.. So.. In the process of fixing this story, I came up with another RP.


Chopin

This RP is a remake of all my and LM's "classic" stories put together. In an appropriate manner, I gave it the title of Chopin (Named after the composer Frederic Chopin) instead of another Tales of.., as I want to keep this original. Alot has been "drastically" changed in this story to add in some of the originality, since some things were plainly ripped off. One fine example is that Symphonia is renamed Terra, or simply often called the world by it's inhabitants. Another major change is Cho, the protagonist, who now portrays a more calm behaviour then his more heroic and wild alter-ego. This Cho also didn't suffer from a tragic event and begins with no major goal, unlike the other Cho who was traumatized from the loss of his entire village and losing his best friend, and constantly brings up his dream on becoming the world's greatest hero. This Cho also forms friendship through rivalry, where it the other Cho it was the other way around. This Cho is also mischievous like his old counterpart but in a cunning way.

With that, we have the appearences of many old characters like Junko, Kliser and even Yanoku who is an antagonist once more. There are also new characters, most likely to be notable is Cho's female counterpart Pandora Mozarton or commonly called "Pan" for short.

Like that sci-fi story, this RP doesn't focus on one group only and in certain chapters, the protagonistic role is shifted to another person. Therefore, it requires a hefty amount of characters (at least three).

This remake is a strong mixture between fantasy and science-fiction, featuring both the combination of artificial magic with advanced technology. You'll find both folklore monsters and robotics, all in this story!! Wow!

As for the plot for this remake.. Er.. Don't have one.. YET.

It's going to be a 3 part story just because it seemed to work a lot better that way. It was going to be one massive RP, but I figured people would've lost interest. =/

I got my first RPG up in a long while up. Tales of Dreams (original title, I know. xD) Anybody can join, it's not really releveant to the other Tales of RPGs. I had been thinking about it for a long time, so it should turn out pretty good... If people join, that is. :P Haha.

I must say, Its unlike anything that's been done here and it's one of those that may work or may just blow up. If you remember a couple of months back, I had those "What would you do?" stories up and I didn't finish them. My fault, I know. I didn't think that the idea would be accepted and I guess in the end I didn't like it because of the way things were turning out. Well, this RP is a mixture of the traditional and the WWYD. I think it would work great with this new Novel Style of writing we've adopted. Here's the story I've come up with:

"On modern day Earth, the climate has gone out of control. Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Volcano Eruptions. Its going on all over the world and no one knows why and will never know."

Think of "The Day After Tommorow" or some other movie that has to do with major cataclysms. Say you want to sign up for the RP. You would have ONE character that is your MAIN person. That means just one sign up sheet. You could come up with people that may or may not assist your character. You would tell where your character lives and it would be a real-life city like Chicago or New York. However, your character can not be in any affilation with everyone else's MAIN character. Now you goal is to get to a certain place. You can come up with your reason why you need to get there but along the way, your going to have to do everything you can to survive. You'll have to face Robbers, Animals and the Climate; you'll even have to scavenge for fresh water and food. How you survive is up to you. Be a good person or a bad person. The place where you want to go is also the place where everyone's character's will meet for the first time. Each one's story intertwining with the other's.

So you are the one who's directing your story. I've set up the Scenario, You do whatever you want with it. But your goal must be to get to that certain place for whatever reason. And also, BE REALISTIC on how you go about things.

For this RP, I would very much like everyone who's currently active in the RPR to join in. I think that's the only way it could work out. I'm not forcing you, but I figured that it would be a way to kinda gather everyone together for a big RP since we always have our partners and their the only ones we Role Play with.

I just want to make sure everyone likes this because I really think we should have a RP where we all get together every once and I while. Besides, I figured maybe something new would be a way to attract everyone.

The biggest problem with those WWYD RPs is that there is usually limited options and choices you can pick from to start with - really, wouldn't you rather just play a video game instead? The absence of character creation and sign ups was also something to nitpick, since it's something that's undoubtbly essential for all roleplays.

Anyways - Scanning over your RP Some1. Well, I personally like the plotline and setting somewhat, although I see a few potential problems occuring in that kind of story. But as for the roleplaying.. I don't think it's a great idea - it's going to kill the RP, unless we AND you as a Game Master all know exactly what we're doing in the story. Basically the main problem I'm concerned about is that our characters aren't travelling together as a group but instead are roaming around alone, doing whatever they want until they reach a specific location where all the characters finally meet each other. Unless this part's pretty short, like say make it our introductory post that explains our character's background on a deeper ****ysis, I suggest you avoid it even if it's the whole idea of the RP. The whole point of RPs is to share ideas, which also means that our creations interact with everyone else's own creations, creating story and development while we socialize. This ultimately makes up the "story". Having us tell the tale of our own characters previous life and how they get to the rendezvous where they'll FINALLY encounter characters created by the other roleplayers kinda defeats that point - it really feels like all we're doing is writing some cheap writing assignment, rather then actually roleplaying. Not to mention, as our writing styles vary, some of us might want to stray off course while others might just rush to the rendezvous, furthering complications. And seeing as how your allowing our characters to "do whatever they want", chances are it's not going to go pull through all that well - unless you can straighten us all out in the RP and keep everything well organized in a way that we won't mess up the storyline.. however, this seems like it might become quite troublesome and annoying in my opinion.

Of course, seeing as you are still working on the RP, these problems might not be a huge issue in the long run and I'm simply just being a bit sceptical here. But still, I feel a little worried about the whole idea. Also, if your going for something new for this forum, I'd think I focus more on developing the storyline, making it more deep with an interesting, enigmatic atmosphere that everyone's bound to soak into rather then trying to find alternative ways for roleplaying.

I can understand where your coming from and I had thought about the characters not being together. I just came up with the idea about a week ago and what I was really wanting to do is get everyone together for one big story. Its not perfect yet and I'm trying to find a way to make the story a bit more deeper as you said. The characters certainly wouldn't be alone forever. They would be alone at least for the beginning. So I wasn't planning on just ending the RP right when they meet up. Say some people were to be bad and some were to be good. You're right, this part isn't going to work. At least not with the way I have it planned now. Maybe with a few changes we could come up with a way for it to work but as of right now, no. It needs work and since I would like everyone to be involved in this RP, I think everyone should have their say on how they want this to work. I'm going to tweak a few things with the story but other then that I would like some of your ideas.

As it's quite obvious, Blood Lion's Uncanny Misadventures is a spoof and isn't really a well developed RP. Most of the stuff is usually just random junk that flies out of my head.. But I do have two RPs in mind and I hope to publish one of them. However, concerning my trip to the states on July 17th, I'm gunna be absent for a while... So I guess I'll just talk about both briefly and see which one you guys perfer.

One RP is currently titled Tales of the Behemoth. Returning to the Tales series, this RP stars the enigmatic wanderer Cho who was killed beforehand but has been mysteriously ressurected by an unknown force and brought into a different dimension - Sorciel, a vast beautiful world heavily inhabited by the magical forces of Dragons. Unlike the dragons from Cho's world, which were typically depicted as "mindless and weak monsters", these dragons possess extraoridinary magic that serve beneficial to the human race, like the fact that the breaths of certain dragon species are capable of reviving dead plants and curing illnesses.. but sometimes it becomes catastrophic, as most dragons are typically capable of emitting devastating flames which is also combined with their fearsome brutality. Needless to say, dragons are like the "dogs" in Sorciel. The main plot in Tales of the Behemoth first centers around a group of soldiers, including Cho. Cho recently gets recruited by the army as a fearsome mercenary titled Bloodedge.

The entire story is loosely based off of Christopher Paolini's Eragon (which was somewhat silly in my opinion) and Anne McCaffrey's White Dragon, as well as numerous fantasy novels that I'm too lazy to remember. But undoubtly, it holds major influences from the Fire Emblem video game series, in both atmosphere and plot. Yes, I play Fire Emblem. It's fun. But it's definitely not the greatest tactical game I ever played. Nope - that award goes to Disgaea, undoubtably.


The other RP (unknown title) is a much more "original" story for my style. It's also one of the few RPs that feature actual illustrations of my characters. I'm gunna keep the plot and characters all hush hush for now. But it does involve pirates. The RP is actually a distant sequel to Aether - a Pokemon story that didn't go really well as a RP. With that said, Pokemon is completely absent from this RP - but there are a few cameos, as well as a few creatures possessing undeniable similarities to a few species. But with that aside, I don't plan on bringing Pokemon into the story, considering that they wouldn't have much of a role to begin with.. The reason why this RP's a sequel to a Pokemon RP is because of an uncanny relationship, where the events of Aether have affected the geography in this RP. It also involves a familar antagonist who made their appearence in Aether. Supposely, it's not really a sequel and can just be seen as a standalone RP, so whatever..

I've just had a random idea fly out of my head, so going to see what you guys think about it.

It's currently untitled - will come up with that some time later.

Basically, the plot consists of a group of teenagers from the present time who are mysteriously teleported 1500 years into the past. They must try and survive in this time without the use of any of their gadgets from their present time and must try and find a way back to the present.

It will be a somewhat different RPG for sure, and will feature of a mix of genres that twist and turn all over the place, ranging from action to comedy to drama and whatever else we can fit in.

Well, I dunno if this has anything to with the RPR. But I made Illustrations of some of my characters! Yay!

I realized that I rarely use pictures for my character's appearances and often just vaguely describe them in story. I suppose it's because I personally don't like searching through Google image. Most of the time, many of my *own* characters rarely have any similarites to any existing picture (and I mean rarely.. sometimes, there might be a pic - but oh jeez, how lucky for me, it leads to a 404 page!). I'm pretty much very picky in choosing pictures. Besides, I'm actually a talented drawer (saids my crackhead friends) so hey, why not draw out my character's appearances instead? Personal Notes: I always wanted to make that comical bad guy character who, no matter how hard they try, fail miserably against the heroes of the story. Now, originally this role was going to be given to the Demon Lord Yanoku - but his intentions and goals were far too spiteful to be taken lightly, so Segma and the Blood Lions were created. Segma's overall design was based off of many classical and memorable villains (I have quite a list). His appearance is based off of Wario (Wario series), Sigma (Megaman X), Hercules (Dragon Ball) and Tiesel (Megaman). His hair was somewhat based off of Vegeta's, however his hair was originally like that of a sargeant's. Kinda reminds me of Akuma/Gouki (Street Fighter) which is a huge bonus point if you ask me, haha!

Fun Facts:

-Segma hates bugs, especially mosquitos.
-Segma's favourite color is green.
-Originally, Segma was a fireman in his early life.
-His father, who was the former leader of the Blood Lions originally intended on having the Blood Lions become a group of vigilantes.
-After his father succumbed to terminal cancer, Segma took on his father's role. Through boredom, Segma eventually turned the Blood Lions into a gang of criminals and their first most notable crime was robbing banks.
-Despite his age, Segma is VERY strong.
-Despite his strength, Segma is ridiculously weak to the protagonists... and sometimes his enemies.
-Segma has a fast metabolism and always heals from severe wounds within nearly a day.
-Most recently, Segma often says "bub" at the end of his sentances. A reference to Marvel's Wolverine.
-Also, Segma's upgrade from Hotar in BLUM granted him identical powers to Wolverine. Yes, I'm an X-Men fan so shut up.
-In spite of his stupid remarks and such, Segma is actually notable for being among the most intelligent scientists in his world. In fact, he's actually the "Einstein" of Symphonia. His senile, aggressive and ambitious behavior often leaves him as somewhat impaired, however.
-Much to everyone's surprise, Segma is married and even has a child of his own. Their whereabouts are unknown to everyone - most believe that they died. Segma however denies this but refuses to talk about any of his family members.
-Segma and Junko's grandfather Jyus were close colleagues. Prior to Jyus' death, Segma rarely shown much concern to Junko - it was only until Jyus died that Segma started to go after Junko as well.
-Segma's name is a combination of Sigma and Segmentum.
-Contrary to belief, Segma actually hates blood and tends to just beat up his opponents, leaving them with bruises.
-In his illustration, near the rightside down corner, there's a VERY VERY vague chibi-like illustration showing Junko hitting on a Gardevoir, who is reluctantly pushing him back. Above him, there's a text bubble which shows an egg and a question mark, basically meaning that Junko is trying to "breed" with the Gardevoir. This exhibits his bizzare lecherous nature.

-Similar to Cho, Junko is a very adaptable person. He claims that he has inherited this trait from Cho himself.
-Simontaneously, Cho claims that he has developed his markmanship from Junko's archery.
-Though he can manipulate very element, Junko specializes solely in electricity.
-Junko developed a scroll which allowed him to cast spells without having to chant out the words. This scroll utterly became useless after the Holocaust.
-Junko hates horror movies, claiming that.. ".. they're too sily and don't emphasize on the horror parts.".
-Junko is a huge fan of Monster flicks, however. He is a big fan of Godzilla.
-He is also a huge Pokemon closet fan, knowing various info about the entire franchise. His favourite Pokemon is Gardevoir (Sirnight, as he saids), claiming that "it's a powerful and beautiful esper, just like myself.."
-Junko is incredibly lecherous, in a sense that he'll hit on anyone, from underaged girls to foreign species to even guys.. Though most of the time, he often jokes around.
-Junko is fond of toilet humor. Actually, he has a twisted sense of humor.
-Junko inherited Light Yagami's "acting skills". Whenever he acts REAL serious, he's actually trying to decieve everyone in an attempt to mock them.

Personal Notes: Er.. Not much to say really. I guess Rookie's just my attempt on making a sidekick... for a villain. Still, he has remarkable traits about him. His Optic Shockers is obviously a spoof on Marvel's Cyclops.

-Rookie was a "bad kid" in school, getting poor grades and getting himself into detention every day... even more since he skips half the time. Recently, he got suspended, which was the time when he joined the Blood Lions.

My illustrations are pretty messy as you can see. They're rough drafts - I was having a hard time on deciding what my characters were actually gunna look like. And yeah, I should be putting these in the Graphics Forum.. But that place is pretty much dead now. These illustrations relate to the RPR anyway.

Tales of the Behemoth will be published shortly after Lullaby of All Voices is finished (if deserted, it'll take a while). Also, Tales of the Behemoth is dropping it's original Fire Emblem-esque style (which actually meant a huge array of characters) but rather sticking with the traditional style of the Tales series.

The way how TotB's story is told will greatly differ from the other RPs, as this RP will have the central characters give their own individual narrations, making up much of the plot and story's content told in their personal aspect.

The plot is very straightfoward, as I don't want to overcomplicate things. Afterall, sometimes the best things are the most simplistic.

On an unrelated note, kinda, I have an upcoming lounge RP that will be published prior to TotB's release - it's entitled Tales of Story, which pokes fun at how often "Tales of" is used in RP titles and gives a brief backstory to TotB, as well as other previous RPs.

Actually, TotB has been post-poned due to preparations for school and stuff. Yeah.. Still on break here. I'm finally going back to school. @_@ I'm too lazy to actually come up with a concrete plot, so.. shut up.

In other news, I have completely different plans on making a remake of Tales of Senphynia - one of the few RPs that ACTUALLY got finished.. Though, I honestly can't remember the plotline in that one. O_o'' Actually, I always had plans on making a remake on the same day Tales of Senphynia was published.. which was.. two months ago, I think? Whatever. So yeah! I'm gunna make a remake, which really shouldn't take all that long in comparison to TotB.

... Typical of me, isn't it? I say I'm gunna make one thing, only to end up making something else entirely in the end.. But rest assure - TotB is going to be published.. RIGHT after I get my hands on BlazBlue, and play it. And I will get that damn game, even if it requires a liver..

But yeah, I can quickly whip up a plot for the remake - which will be loosely based off of Tales of Phantasia's plotline. Loosely. Many of the characters in the original Tales of Senphynia will recieve a character makeover - for example, -edit- Mint will NOT appear as the heroes' childhood friend, but will be depicted as a girl with special powers (often refered to as the powers of a Messiah). -edit- She will remain a huge love interest for two particular characters.

So, here's the deal, folks. I've lost complete interest in When We Cry. I dunno why, I've just lost motivation in continuing it... Hate me if you must. xD

BUT, I do have two stories in the works. One to take the place of When We Cry (obviously it's gonna be a Tales of. :P) and another one that'll be the sequel to Tales of Dreams.

Let's focus on the one replacing When We Cry. It'll be posted up when a certain story event happens in Tales of Dreams. It'll be called "Tales of Infinity". Can't give any details yet, but it'll be occuring at the same time as Tales of Dreams, maybe... I'm still trying to decide. I'd say that'll probably be the case. And I'll be nice, and say that it has alot to do with the Tagomai Family... That's all I'll say for now.

Now, the sequel to Tales of Dreams... I'm still trying to figure this one out, I don't really have much down about it. xD Haha... I'm still trying to decide if it'll be Tales of Dreams 2 or it'll be a Tales of the World... Oh well. I got time. :P And yes, by saying there's a sequel, that means I plan on finishing Tales of Dreams. Wait, what?! YOU?! Finish a STORY?! Holy crap, hell must be freezing over. xD Well, yeah... Considering it's turning out pretty well, since it's not just random crap flying out of my head like how I used to work.

I like Tales of Dreams actually, though I kinda regret my selection of characters. Serious Junko? It's like dividing by zero. And Deadgang is THE WEIRDEST and most enigmatic eccentric character I have ever made. o_O ... Well.. Weirdest protagonist at least. He gets weirder throughout the story.

Personally, the one thing that bothers me in Tales of Dreams, is how "dreams" aren't really all that emphasized and that the only time the characters actually entered a "dream world" was at the beginning of the story. It kinda lost that specific surreal atmosphere and it really seems like the characters are just going through different dimensions, rather then actually going into a dream.

It got lost somewhere in the sea of my mind. :P All though, I haven't completely forgotten the concept... In fact. A new character named Shing is going to make his debut in Tales of Dreams (possibly show up in Blood Lion's Uncanny Misadventures as well). Yeah.. So why the hell am I informing this? Does anyone really care? Well.. Aside from the fact that Shing's character pardodies those who try to follow Japanese culture (which basically means he's making fun of nearly everyone in my stories), Shing is a Tagomai! Shing's design is based off of Chipp Zanuff from Guilty Gear, though I'm obviously going to incorporate some different things and attributes into this character.

He's my fastest character so far, Isaac (a character who'll appear in another story) is officially the only one who's faster then him. And one of his attack names is Sushi. xD

I also have another new character - this one's Hamistu. Thinking about it, I don't think I've put in that many Hamistu characters. I also need someone to replace Junko. Because I never had a female Hamistu (least, one I use often) and seeing how female characters are so underated, I decided to make Yukimaru - basically a female version of Junko.

New RPG coming up. It takes place in the Symphonia Code is from. Here's a small background story on this Symphonia (I couldn't fit it on my post of the story. xD).


So, here's the lowdown.

~Symphonia: Known for it's major cities and powerful countries and militias. Most countries are at constant war. But, there's one country that is almost always at peace; The Elemental Country. The Elemental Country is known for it's powerful forgery and combat. It's due to the 7 Craftlords, the 7 best weapon forgers of the world, who protect the Elemental Country, and the capital, Lystem, from any harm that there's usually no war.

The story is taking elements out of a bunch of RPs I've played, mostly Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 1 and 2, and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

And there you have it.
