:( well if you wondering whats so sad i'll tell you... at 11:36 pm we gave out pug (girl, name is cristy) two shots and some other medicine (not completey sure what it is). not even a minute after the shots she had a reaction from it. we had some medicine for this beacuse we know it happens, but rarley. so she passed out for 5 minutes and she woke up she couldn't walk for 20 minutes but she eventually walked. when she started to walk i went to bed. after school i came home and had a giant bomb hit me or it feels like it to me... my dog died. she was only 4 years old. turns out that there was another attacked at 3:40am. my mom and dad stayed awake with her. she was all happy then she just layed down and took two or three deep breaths and then died.:( my dad took her to the vet to get ready for being buried. i am very strucked by this beacuse she always sleep with me in my bed...:(:(

I am very sorry to hear that, that is truly awful.
Just yesterday my dog collapsed as well, couldn't stand on his legs anymore and he just layed there and wouldn't respond to anything we called out to him.
We took him to the Vet and he gave him some medicine, explained everything was alright now and that he was damn healthy for a dog that old (He is 14 years old now).
It gave me such a scare, I couldn't do anything, I wanted to make sure my dog was safe.
He is doing a lot better now, he's walking and doing everything again so I'm seriously glad about that.
It pains me to hear your story, especially after what happened to my dog because I know how it feels. I hope she finds rest though.
A lot of people don't realize that the loss of a dog isn't just the feeling of losing a pet, you lose a family member. My old dog before this one, died a long time ago, but she died at 13 years, and I was 13 when she died, which means when I was 13 years old I knew her my whole life, she was part of my life. I knew nothing else.
My little sister got fired yesterday for her part time job, because she wanted to stay with our dog as well, her supervisor couldn't understand the importance, she said that it's just a dog, that she should still work because it's not that important. "It's not like the dog is a human being". I ****ing hate people like that, they have no clue whatsoever

Same here with my two French Poodles when I was a kid. I cried for over a month.

that sucks man. i had a dog that ran away when i was three ( i know its pretty sad that i can actually compare that) but about...7 years ago? before i moved where i lived now i was living with my cuzin and i randomly broke down about it. i always thought it died, turned out i was gonna die if we didnt get rid of it, and the person we gave it to couldnt take care of it, put it in our neighbors backyard, and it ran away.

it is sad when a dog rans away too.. but they could survive, it comes naturally to hunt. right now i am looking at pics with me and my dog.. just the two of us... and i wish there was still the two of us.

Sorry to hear about that mate! Yeah losing a pet is a pain that lingers. Especially with Dogs because they get more attached to you and you get more attached to them. And it is weird not having your Dog/ Cat by your side when you sleep sometimes. Hope you feel better about it all soon...
Thanks,
HRBEK.

This reminds me a whole lot of when my cat died... He wasn't very old (we were never sure of his age), but he was coughing up blood while I was in school and my mom took him to get him put to sleep without even telling me. So I was completely devastated when I got home and I was on the verge of tears every time I told someone. And I still miss him ever so much. (Luckily, I have pictures though.)
But I mean, an animal's like a brother or sister or any other family member. If they're die/dieing, you should be able to stay home without getting fired or whatever. So basically saying that "It's just a dog/cat." is saying that animals are worthless. If anyone ever said that to me, I would knock some common sense into them...
