Well, I was just reminded by this amazing thing, a dutch commentator seriously losing it because of a goal.

That was the goal that put is in the lead 2-1 against Argentina, and we went through to the semi-finals I believe, only to get beaten in Penalty kicks by Brazil, because the friggin Ref didn't give us that penalty near the end that we clearly deserved after such a foul.

England didn't even make it. Even if they did we , Portugal, would beat them in the quarterfinals in penalty kicks like we've done the past 2 times.

I've never seen Holland this strong since WC 98'.

I even felt sorry for Italy near the end. Holland was too strong as a fully working team, finally they realized their flaws and gaps and closed them!

This is an awesome, if not the best start of a first match you will ever see.

I wouldn't be so sure, Italy was still really good, but Holland just improved and strengthened on every weak side they had before.

Ok, winning against Italy is one thing, but 3-0, they are still the world champions.

I remember when Portugal beat Holland last time we were in the lead 2-0, until the second half when Portugal had that extra Penalty shot, that was horrible. A lot of people agreed that Holland was the better team in skills, but alas, you have to have luck on your side too, and we weren't so lucky.

I've seen the match, France was good though, it's not an opponent to take lightly, especially back then. But yes luck, the match against Holland was the proof for that, you can deny it, but Portugal didn't seem strong or impressive.

There were a lot of teams that were thrown out when we didn't expect it, like Brazil.

But claiming Portugal is the unluckiest team just because I said they were lucky that time shows enough for me. I know you like Portugal but sheesh, gotta admit some things man.

Well the Germans got lucky because A.)Ronaldo was playing like crap and B.) Ricardo doesnt know where his own f***ing goal is. The Ballack and Klose goal should not have gone in. Ronaldo shouldve marked Klose and denied the header but no, he backs off and after the goal is scored he's trying to blame someone else. Ronaldo should stop being a little immature p**** and grow up already. Also Scolari should've put Nani in the second half at the beginning, he was ripping that defense apart but he didnt have enough time to make an impact, he only had enough to set up the Postiga goal. Now that Scolari is gone I doubt we will be making it into another major tournament any time soon. If Holland and Spain dont win and the Germans or Italians take another title home that they dont deserve, Im going to fly to Austria and blow that trophy up......now my rant is over.

They scored that goal, that single goal, and you should have looked closer because it was because of the stupidity of the Germans that that goal was made. Germans didn't play as well as they could have, which rarely happens, 1-0 is a meager result.

Germans havent played well this entire competition besides that first game against Poland. They have gotten lucky but their luck ran out today.

Like I said lucky on there part becaus the two headers, Ricardo was trying to get the ball from someone a foot taller than him. If he stayed at the goal line, those wouldnt have gone in.
