THIS WORKED FOR ME. IF YOU BREAK YOUR BATTERY IT IS NOT MY FAULT I DID BREAK MINE THE FIRST TIME!!!!
Hey wanted to make a guide (did not copy!! made by my self!!!) about Custom Firmware (CFW). It lets you play games that need CFW. This lets you play emulators for n64, gba, gc, and finaly PSP games! for free. What I am showing you is called "Hard Modding" it IS legal to make a Pandoras battery this way!!!! Up until now you could only "soft mod." your psp using illegal software. This is for ALL types of firmware. note: if you have a PSP slim go down to "PSP Slim Pandoras Battery"
#1 take a knive and cut the battery open by cutting along the line on the left, that seperates the two sides of the battery. ( cut a the corners on the side too.)
#2 open it
#3 Look at the chip next to the "ICO4 letters". Now lift up on the 5th pin until it pops out. You can find the 5th pin in my attachment. ( MAKE SURE IT IS THE 5TH PIN ONLINE, I WENT THROUGH THREE BATTERYS CUTTING
THE 4TH PIN!!!!)
#4 Now close you battery back up and there you have it... A PANDORAS BATTERY!! Look for my mms guide or magic memory stick guide you will need this to install CFW!
PSP Slim Pandoras Battery
#1 Like the guide above open the battery.
#2 Cut the gold line with your knive. ( You can find this line in my attachments) (cut untill the line is completly halfed.)
#3 Now close the Battery NOW YOU HAVE A PANDORAS BATTERY!!!
#4 (Read mms guide or magic memory stick guide CFW WON'T work without it!!)
