I tried the beta version of Firefox 3. Seemed alright but went back to 2 for addons that didn't work

I think almost everyone is already using Firefox, that's not the thing.

The idea is that as many people as possible will download the new Firefox 3 on it's release day, so Firefox can break the world record of "Most software downloaded within 24 hours".

You might just be the only peson to say those words on that god-forsaken browser of viruses and slowness. You should give either Firefox or Opera a chance

I downloaded it. Firefox and Opera are the best in my opinion. I am glad that Firefox is continually advancing to improve the security and usable features.

the day when firefoz 3 was released.. the world recored wass already made by the most software downloaded in a day .... in a week and in a month... just incredible...
