Rock Band seems very good, I played the XBox 360 one in Zavvi on drums and it's really good.

It's out on XBox 360 in the UK now, and will be out approximately in August on the Wii in the UK.
Unfortunately, currently there is no online options, but there will be five additional songs for the Wii version.

It will be out in America June 22nd.
So I'm trying to get an import haha :)

Anyone played this for any system, or will get it?

I have I think that it's funny there giving it 5 extra songs! They do that because the Wii graphics are horrible and nobody would buy it for the Wii.

I got paid today
So I thought why not, and got myself an XBox 360 and Rock Band for £287 together.
Good old staff discount at work.
Only problem is, we don't have the 360 Pro's in stock.
So now I'm waiting patiently ¬_¬

They're giving Wii 5 extra songs mainly because they didnt bother to use DLC. Also the Wii graphics are horrible. Also not everyone owns a 360 and this game will end up selling millions on wii. So think before you make and ignorant comment like that.

On topic- I already have it for the 360, got it last month.

And those 5 extra songs you can download on XBox Live.

I think they will eventually introduce DLC on the Wii, maybe using actual currency or maybe wii points?

Actualy the 5 extra songs are nintendo only songs. DLC will come as an expansion disc that you can buy for 30 bucks. DLC as already been introduced to Wii thru Final Fantasy CC: MLaaK. And it will be used in Guitar Hero World Tour/IV

They aren't Nintendo only songs.
The only one I can remember off the Wii bonus songs is Dirty Little Secret by All American Rejects
and I've heard you can download that?

Wth. I just googled it. Im pretty sure thats no where near the list that i read when it was announced for wii. It was a list of 5 nintendo themed songs, which IMO they should've done. I guess this will due. But if I was a Wii owner who doesnt own another console/rockband on that console, skip this and wait for Guitar Hero IV.

Are the ones listed the actual "exclusive" Wii songs?

If so that's a bit rubbish tbh.

All the DLC is unavailable for the Wii so the Wii should get songs the 360 and PS3 can't get.

DLC is availiable for wii but EA and Harmonix were to lazy to bother with DLC and online. It's kind of sad really. And Im guessing those are the songs.

It was only a matter of time before Rock Band was ported to the Wii. I don't have the game but I hear it's a lot like Guitar Hero. And if it's anything like GH3, It'll be flying off the shelves.
