CODE Death: Treason

Earth has a shadow. Hidden in Earth’s shadow, was a small world, The Shinigami Realm. In this world, there are Gods of Death. These gods, they survive by killing humans with their Death Notes. Whenever a human’s name is written in the Death Note, they are killed, either by a heart attack or by the way the Writer describes it. Every time a Shinigami does that, and it wasn’t destined for that human to die at that time, they gain that humans remaining years of life. They usually are bored with their lives... The only thing they do is gamble, and they can only gamble the one thing they have, life spans. Anyway, once, a Shinigami dropped a Death Note into the human world. The one who found this, we’ll call him “Kira”. This young man was getting bored with life, and when he found the Death Note, he thought it was some kind of joke, so he decided to test it on a few criminals. When they died, just like the Death Note rules had said, “After 40 seconds after writing a person’s name in the notebook, if the cause of death isn’t specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.” Kira was frightened of his new found “power”. But, he thought that now, with this, he could finally create a perfect world, free of criminals. Kira believed he was justice. But, eventually, Kira was found out, five years later. So, the Shinigami, who told Kira at the very beginning that he would be the one to kill him, did so, not waiting for Kira to come out of jail for “Mass Homicide”. But, the world had believed that Kira was now justice. So, in the end, with the death of Kira, the world eventually destroyed itself...

xxxxx In an alternate universe, on an alternate Earth, the year 2010, technology advanced, the Holy Empire of Taenia has conquered a third of the planet, split between them, U.A.A. (United American Association), and the Chinese. In the now conquered Japan, it was completely run over by Taenia and its “Knightmares”. Japan was stripped of its rights, freedom, and its name. They are now called “Area 11”. Japanese people, now called “Elevens”, are forced to survive in poor neighborhoods, while the Taenians live it large. There are still “Elevens” who still struggle against the empire.
xxxxx Light, A Taenian Youth. He goes to the Ash’ Forte Academy, living life as a Taenian student and citizen. Life is normal and civilized, as usual, until he finds a strange notebook on the grounds of the Academy. The notebook has rules written on the front cover and it is titled “Death Note”. Light, thinking it as a joke, does just what Kira did, testing on some minor criminals shown on T.V. When they die forty seconds later, Light figures out that the Death Note is true! Light, detesting the Japanese and those who stand in the way of Taenia, decides to become Taenia’s new Protector, of sorts. But, many things occur, completely changing his view, he learns his despise of Taenia and vows to destroy Taenia himself, and in the process, killing all the criminals of the world, so he could become God of a Utopia, a perfect world without crime or evil or Tyrants like Taenia, China, or the U.A.A. He has put it on himself to destroy these three powers and become God of the world and show that his “Justice” is the only way for the world to not destroy itself with war.

Another power of the world is a power called "Geass". When Light acquires this power (later in the story), it appears in his right eye, and when used, he can control someone to do anything he commands, without question. But, there are rules and restrictions, just like the Death Note. But, I will allow that ONE of your characters can have this power (Preferably your main).

For now, you can have up to five people. Once the story flows, I will allow more... MINORS are unlimited.

KEY TERMS
DEATH NOTE: Simply put; if your name is written in it, you die. But, if the writer breaks any of the rules, they will die. But, Shinigami could easily make fake rules... Should be considered. Only one is known to be around right now, and its in Light's possession. More will pop up once story flows. Each one has a Shinigami owner, so whoever owns it and whoever touches the Death Note, can see and hear the Shinigami. If burned, anyone who has written in it, will burn as well.

GEASS: A strange power that varies in different ways, which is bestowed upon humans by some type of mysterious person (That's obviously not human). Every Geass, while powerful, has its own set of weaknesses, restrictions, and limitations. These factors allow a Geass to be defeated by anyone who knows it's limitations. What they have in common are that they are related to the mind, usually relating to will, thoughts, feelings, and memory.

KNIGHTMARE FRAMES: Robotic combat weapons to replace common battle weapons (guns, cannons, etc.). It's sorta like a huge robot, that's shaped like a knight, and has a weapon of choice. These will come into play more later on.

SHINIGAMI: Death God.

Bio-Ace is a young student attending in Ash'Forte Academy. Ace is seen as a fairly intelligent student, having very good grades in all his classes - it was known that his average is only a few percentage below Light's in fact. He is also athletic at most sports, though his true talent lies within fencing and swordplay. Academically good, as a person, Ace has many antagonistic characteristics. Ace is sly and mischievous. He likes to disregard rules, so he's often a troublemaker. Ace also has a distinetested attitude and acts uncaring and untrustful, he can easily betray people without hesitation. Such traits make it hard for others to trust Ace. Despite this, Ace manages to make alot of friends, though none of them have a strong friendship with Ace. Ace is very stubborn on matters he decided upon, and will not act hesitant to use any possible method (harmless or dangerous) in order to reach his goal. In difficult siduations, Ace relies on speed and trickery to survive rather then relying on his intellect abilities. Ace is often seen wearing a red baseball cap worn backwards and riding a skateboard. Rarely is he seen walking or without his skateboard.

How It Works-Ace's Geass gives him the power to trick people into seeing things that aren't there. Making eye contact with another person, Ace is able to implant illusionary images within the victim's mind and his/her point of view, causing them to see illusions (i.e, they see an imaginary apple in front of them) - or he can also cause them to see things in a completely different prospect in comparison to other people. (I.e, everyone looks at an apple and says it's red, however the victim sees the apple being green.) When activated, a sprial sigil appears in his left eye.

Bio-The Death God that "gives" Light the Death Note. This is the same Death God that was with Kira in the other "Earth". He came to this "Earth", because he sensed the reincarnation of Kira. But, when he lands on this Earth, he figures out about this other power, "Geass", and that Light is fighting for more causes then Kira and he is in much more risk of getting caught. He's practically against the whole world once he steps into Kira's role. Ryuk thinks that this will be a fun trip.

Seven years after the invasion of Japan, Taenia has now reconstructed it and it is now apart of Taenia, as "Area 11". The story starts at Ash'Forte Academy, in a classroom..
There are tables and there's four chairs at a table. At one table is our Protagnist, Light Pariot. He's staring out the window. Everyone's waiting for the teacher to show up, simply chatting.
Light-*sighs* ... (Sheesh. How boring. This teacher never shows up on time. Wonder what's taking her?...) At one table, there's a young lady, with long, light brown hair in a pony tail, with emerald colored eyes. She's just staring at Light. Shirley-*sighs* ... (Oh, Light. He doesn't even notice me.. T_T) Student 1-*standing beside the door* Heh heh.. Always late. I'm gonna scare the crap out of her. ^_^ A young man with spikey, purple hair is in front of the Student. Rivalz-You're an idiot. Heh. ^_^ *looks around and yells at Light* Hey, Light! What are you doing?! Help us think of a prank to play on Ms. Scoff! Light-*sweatdrops and looks down at Rivalz* Don't be dumb, Rivalz. -_- Rivalz-*ignores Light, and yelling to everyone* Hey! Anybody got a prank!? Make it good! >_<

There's a somewhat tall student with spikey dark red hair and brown eyes sitting at a desk located at the front. He's playing with a yo-yo. This is Marcel Lansburn - one of Ace's friend and possibly his first friend. Marcel-Well.. How about.. We have someone playing dead? ^_^ That'll give her a real shock! *spins his yo-yo around and then sarcastically* Heh heh! That, or we just go with the old "chalkboard eraser, door" trick! Marcel is a rather strange and quirky person, who is often seen playing with a yo-yo. Though strange, he is very kind-hearted and never seen in a rage. A student wearing a fisher hat is drawing something on the board at the front of classroom. He is incredibly short for his age, so he is having difficulties drawing - constantly jumping up and down. This is Gid Silvester. Gid-Eh! Eh! >_<'' *he's drawing a rather poor image of Mrs. Scoff, with a text bubble beside her face saying immaturely "I'm stupid!". Marcel-*sweatdrops* Oh, Gid.. ^_^'' Gid-Haha! *stops jumping and puts away the chalk* Look at my masterpiece! This is Dawn - her last name is never revealed, though apparently it's Valentine. She's currently in a state of solitude, isolating herself from everyone. PROLOGUE: The Death Note
[Light's Narration: July 4th, 2017. ...Light Pariot... I guess you can say I have a regular life, although I'm the smartest person in the academy. Other then that, I eat, sleep, study, hang-out, chill... Well, there is something about me that sticks out, like my IQ... It's my sense of Justice. I believe that no crime should go unpunished. This world... So many crimes. It needs to be changed. Taenia's trying.. I believe in them, one day they might be able to. I can't do anything to help... Until this day. This fateful day, where my destiny was completely altered.]
It's afterschool hours, but everyone is still in class. Light is getting ready to leave. Light-Hmm... *is at the door, when he notices everyone staying behind* Huh? Why isn't anyone leaving? o_O Rivalz-*is now trying to push Light out of the room* Because! We're all staying behind to study and we can't have you here being a know-it-all! >_< Lily-Yeah, Light. Get out of here... We'll meet you at the park later. We'll all be there, alright? Shirley-*nods* ... Light-*not paying any attention to anyone, only focusing on some kind of book that fell from above and landed on the ground outside the window* Ehh...Alright. *leaves the room and closes the door behind him* Rivalz-*waits ten seconds then sighs in relief* ...
