[Magoseong]

"Tellus" tells the story of a group of children who all live in the region of Farbe - A large urban region inhabitanted by many species such as humans and Pocket Monsters which are common yet mysterious creatures that live in forests, lakes and within mountains. However, Farbe is known to be the home of the mutant life-forms called Shadows. Shadows are creatures that descended from Dark Matter known as "Azamalis". Shadows have proved to be a frightening and reckoning threat in Farbe. Desperate procedures have began to eliminate these Shadows.. But some such as the infamous Devil Gang have gained an interest in controlling their terrible powers.

Story
Seki is a young orphan who was traumatized after a near-death experience. He lives at the Lawford Orphanage, in the town of Whitbon. Struggling with fitting in, Seki has isolated himself from society. Rufina Lawford - the owner of the Lawford Orphanage, decides to kick Seki out from the orphanage and send him on a little journey around Farbe as an attempt to help Seki get rid of his depression and loneliness. Rufina sends her only son Reid and his friends to tag along with Seki, in order to support him on his journey. Of course, not really having any choice, all of them leave Whitbon and head for Shineside City. During their departure, Seki discovers a mysterious relic. His telepathic powers activates the relic and triggers some kind of cosmic event.. an event which awakens an ancient evil, sealed long ago.


My "first" Pokemon rpg. This story's is a bit of a parody. Just trying out something that's a little different then my usual style. Follows a similar style to the games. It's more "friendly" compared to stories like [V]ector. I'm sticking with the English names for the Pocket Monsters.

A young traumatized runaway who fled to Farbe for reasons unknown. He suffered from amneisa due to a near death experience, forgetting alot from his past lifetime. He now lives at Lawford orphanage. Seki is an honest but depressed boy being tormented by solitude. Because of this loneliness, he has developed a very low self-esteem and acts cold and uncaring around others. Easily discouraged, he takes only the negative aspects from things and rarely looks at the bright side of life. He is trying to change and make some friends. Seki suffers from asthma. Seki's favourite food is Taiyaki (Baked fish-shaped cake). Seki possesses the ability of telepathy and can communicate through thoughts with other living beings. He isn't able to this with humans though. His range is also limited.

Combat-wise, Seki is actually a powerful fighter surprisingly. He is athletic and strong, despite his young age, small size and his asthma problem. He uses baseball bats for majority of battles, coming up close and personal to his enemies. Occasionally, he'll use slingshots to support Rie and/or Sol when they're in battle or when he's suffering from asthma. As a trainer, Seki doesn't like relying on his team and tends to do most on his own.

Rie - A very young and frail Ralts. Rie was found by Seki. Feeling compassionate and sympathatic, Seki looks after Rie as it's guardian. Eversince, Rie started to cling onto Seki for parental support, although the two are unable to get along as Seki finds Rie annoying and Rie finds Seki intimidating. Rie is awfully fearful of others and can even go to as far as crying when feeling pressured. With the uncanny aid of Seki's comfort, Rie is able to get over this. Despite at such a young age, Rie is capable of using the powerful move Psychokinesis, although it's a weaker version and only happens at certain occasions. Rie likes to sing when it feels happy and when it is alone. Rie is female and has a Bashful nature. Loves to eat. Rie's ability is unknown (it could be Synchronization, or Trace). Rie's nickname comes from the solfège syllable Re (Ray), "the Hopeful Tone". Seki is able to sympathize with Rie's state of loneliness, which is why their bond is quickly growing.. Rie is capable of using the moves; Psychokinesis and Sing.

Sol - A jumpy little Chimchar who just loves to play Hero. One of the species who Nagare's mother wanted to study. Sol escaped and "accidentally" bumps into Seki. Seeing an opportunity to go on an adventure, Sol joyfully joins Seki. With Rie being the only other Pocket Monster Seki has, Sol proves to be Seki's only capable fighter. Sol is courageous and bold but also has a bit of a temper, making a big deal out of anything that seems annoying. He acts similar to Reid, actually.. Though this is probably just some kind of strange coincidence. Sol is male and has a Brave nature. Likes to thrash about. Sol's ability is Blaze. Sol's nickname came from the solfège syllable Sol, "the Bright Tone" which goes well with Sol's jolly and heroic characteristics, as well as being a fire-type. Sol also acts as a "torch" in dark caves. Sol is capable of using the moves; Scratch/Cut and Flash. It also knows a ridiculous made-up move called "Super Heroic Assault", which involves Sol delivering a simple weak punch while continuously making dramatic battle cries (this becomes both an actual and powerful attack later on).

An immigrant from Sinnoh who moved to Farbe with her mother. Nagare and her mother are currently living in Shineside City, a location near Whitbon. A bit of a tomboy, she has a habbit of getting into trouble. Nagare is a very confident and cheerful person, as to constrast with Seki's gloomy personality. Her mother is actually a research professor back in Sinnoh, who continues her research here in Farbe. Despite her adventerous spirit, Nagare can easily get homesick. Nagare's favourite food is Poffin. Similar to Seki, Nagare also possesses the ability of telepathy. However she can only send her thoughs to other living beings, rather then actually communicating telepathically. Her range limit is a bit longer then Seki's, however.

Like most typical trainers, Nagare relies on her team in battles - putting her whole trust into them.

Maito - A tough Poliwhirl. Maito grew up with Nagare in her early childhood which is why the two share a strong bond. Maito possesses a tough exterior that conceals a gentle spirit. It is very gullable and naive, especially around Nagare. Maito doesn't socialize with others that often and usually remains silent. Maito is male and has a Quiet nature. Likes to fight. Maito's ability is Water Absorb. Maito is capable of using the moves; Mega Punch, Water Gun, Surf, Submission and Freeze Beam.

Jun - A slothful Turtwig, who acts.. very similar to a certain someone. Maybe it's just a coincidence? One of the species who Nagare's mother wanted to study. As to constrast with Sol's energetic spirit, Jun is lazy and calm. Jun is male and has a Lax nature. Likes to relax. Jun's ability is Overgrow/Truant. Jun is capable of using the moves; Tackle, Withdraw and Razor Leaf. In occasion to it's lazy nature, Jun also knows Rest, Yawn and Snore. It also knows the odd and silly move called "Hyper Happy Hit" which involves Jun to just roll around and complain, while "trying" to attack the enemy (this becomes both an actual and powerful attack later on).

A young boy who's parents own the Whitbon's Lawford Orphanage (where Seki lives). Reid uses a wide range of tools and his intellect in battle, rather then relying on Pocket Monsters or his poor physical abilities. Reid is depicted as a typical nerd but he's actually an honest, passionate and courageous person who never goes back on word. He's also pretty hot-headed and stubborn. Reid is a big fan of the super hero "Captain Blues". He actually inherited his heroic spirit from him. Reid's favourite food is Pasta. Reid has no hidden power like telepathy but he is a capable technician.

As mentioned before, Reid doesn't use Pocket Monsters or brute force. Reid claims to not like Pocket Monsters that much nor does he like to work out. In combat, Reid relies on home-made explosives and gadgets such as Stun Guns, Capsule Bombs (Capsule Balls that have bombs locked inside) and even Bottle Rockets. He even uses Fireworks later on. He keeps all his stuff inside his backpack.

Excuse the horrible appearance pics I used for three of my characters as I don't have a scanner and plus I realized that I have no more blank paper! It was a pain to draw images in Photoshop using only a one pixel paintbrush and this awful disobedient mouse. Ugh.. I didn't even want to think about coloring them in..

Now, if you don't like Pokemon or Pokemon rpgs.. Well.. I'm just going to say that this one's a bit different, so I'll kinda appreciate if everyone gives it a chance.

Cameron moved to Farbe when he was eight. When he was nine, his mother died from an unknown illness and he was forced to live in the orphanage, where he met Seki, Nagare, and Reid. He has a trusty Pidgey which knows Gust and Wing Attack and a Totodile which knows Tackle and Water Gun; both of these Pokémon belonged to his father, who went missing and is presumed dead.

I think I'll stick with just Cameron for now. :) I'll add some more as the story progresses.

Shigeki Shigeki found him at a very young age, abandoned, so Shigeki took him under his wing. Res, wants to grow up strong like Shigeki Shigeki.

Shigeki Shigeki. Strange name, yes. But, this guy is known for being a major athlete of sorts. He goes by Shigeki Shigeki because he's a wander, only going where the wind takes him, and he doesn't remember his last name, so he just goes by Shigeki Shigeki. He's a mixed bag, he can be cool in some situations and yet he can be a hothead in other situations. He's also a HUGE womanizer/ When seen accompanying these kids, he's either seen as their father/caretaker/older brother (because he looks more mature then he acts sometimes) or a child molester (mostly always by women, due to he's a major womanizer. >_>). It combat, he's capable of using any type of sports equipment. He's strange, he wants people to call him Shigeki Shigeki, not just "Shigeki". A very strange one...

You two are both in. I guess we'll start now.

-Introduction-
A man with a cowlick appears in the middle of nowhere. Junko-Hey there! This is your loveable and handsome man Junko Hamistu talkin! ... If you don't know me, then get out of here. *smiles innocently* Ha! I see you guys are ready to get this "awesome adventure" going. Well.. As it already been informed, this is indeed a.. Po-key-man RPG. (Did I say that right??) Those crazed creatures we loved so much back then on those handheld devices and still love, even today. So.. *raises his arms into the air* Welcome to the land of Farbe - a Po-Key-Man region that's name is simply a German word for Color. *sarcastic* Pretty original there, huh? *coughs* I guess I'm talking to a group of meddling kids here. You guys.. *looks at "you** That's the protagonists I'm talkin about.. Possess "extraordinary" telepathic powers that are much inferior to mine of course. These abilities allow you to "harness" thoughts and act in synchronization with your team. Suddenly a black haired boy who's shorter then Junko appears beside him. This is.. Hey, it's me! Magoseong-The protagonists can communicate with Pocket Monsters through their telepathic powers. It's as if they were talking with other humans. Let's avoid having Pocket Monsters shout out their names over.. and over.. and OVER. T_T It's the equivalent of me writing my name over nine thousand times. Suddenly a small yellow rodent with a tail shaped as a lightning bolt falls on top of Magoseong's head. Hey, it's a Pikachu! Pikachu-Like this, right? Seki and friends can understand what we're saying, right? Magoseong-Yeah.. Pretty much. Pikachu-Piii~ That's neat.. Junko-... There's a yellow lagomorph on your head. o_O Magoseong-... Anyway. I wanna make Pocket Monsters have the same equivalent ammount of relevance as the human protagonists. In other words-- Pikachu-Let's have me and the other Pokémon be as important as our trainers! Magoseong-I don't wanna portray them as dumb, stupid animals with very little personality. But besides that, It's just your oridinary Pokemon adventure. Pikachu-Oridinary adventure..! Magoseong-If you played at least one of the games, you should know the routine. You travel, collect monsters and battle. Pikachu-I-I don't like battling very much, Pii~.. Magoseong-Of course seeing how this is my RPG, there are some twists and tweaks here and there. Pikachu-*ear twitches* Twists? Magoseong-One major example is the altered combat system, which will be explained later on. *crosses his arms* And be expecting alot of cameos. *points at Junko* Junko and I will make a short appearence in this story. We both actually have a small important role. Junko-... ... ... *facepalm* Magoseong-And with that said. I think we should get this story going now. Haha.. I doubt people will read this part anyway. I mean, I know I wouldn't. Pikachu-*jumps up* Pika! Magoseong-Well.. Let's get started.



-Prologue-
In the town of Whitbon, inside the Lawford Orphanage.
Seki is seen sleeping indolently in his bed. He's wearing pajamas instead of his normal clothing, though he's still wearing the hat. Seki-Zzz.. Zzz.. Zzz.. Suddenly an explosion is heard outside. BOOM!! This causes Seki to fall out of his bed, slamming into the floor. Ouch.. Seki-?! Ugh! Oof! ... *slowly lifts himself up, rubbing his head* O-ow.. What the heck..?

Meanwhile,
A group of very young kids are being chased by a purple rabbit-like creature that has a horn on it's forehead - it's a Nidorino. It looks incredibly frustrated and violent, chasing down the kids. Our dear deuteragonist Reid is seen beat up and trampled, lying down on the ground helplessly. Reid-... O-ow.. Sorry. I guess the explosion upsetted this guy.. Uaah.. @_@ Boy 1-Run away!! >_< The Nidorino pokes the boy with it's horn. Boy 1-!! *jumps up and yelps* Oww!! Aaah!! T-T Girl 2-S-somebody, help us!!

Meanwhile,
Cameron: *falls out of bed when he hears the explosion* Ah! *falls on the floor* ...What the..? *jumps up and gets ready quickly, then runs outside*

Shigeki Shigeki-*laying down near the kids, with a straw hat covering his face* Ngh.. So loud. -_-'' *takes straw hat off of face and places it down to the side and stands up, noticing the situation* Huh. What are you guys doing? P!$$ing off innocent creatures? -_- *suddenly in a very childish tone* "Yes, Mr. Shigeki Shigeki! We need your help!" *sighs and voice returns to normal* Whatever. *walks (SLOWLY) towards the Nidorino*

Reid-... *suddenly sits up, pushing his glasses up his nose (his glasses are broken)* Yeouch.. The kids pass by Reid like a speeding bullet. Reid-? Eh? Suddenly the Nidorino tackles Reid from behind when he least expected it. CRAASSH!! Reid-!! Aaugh! *flips foward and crashes down on his stomach* Ugh! >_< Suddenly the kids stop running and surround Reid (they're keeping their distance away from the grumpy little Nidorino). Boy 1-Yeah! Reid!! Go for it! Girl-Show em who's boss! The kids continue to cheer for Reid, which raises his spirit. But this proved to be pointless as Reid is continously getting painfully trampled, poked, stabbed and kicked by the Nidorino. Reid starts crying in pain. Reid-Ow! Augh! Eegh! Aagh! Eegh! Blaagh! @_@ Boy 2-*sniffs up a snot drip right back into his nose (disgusting)* I don't think Reid's winning. *his snot hangs out from his nose again* Girl 2-... Should we help him out? Boy 3-Heck no. Boy 1-Come on Reid!! Use a magic spell! Reid-What..?! ... T-T Reid desperately chants a spell out of curiosity. But, it failed. The Nidorino continues to trample Reid. Reid-... ... ... Boy 1-Aw! You didn't say it right! Girl 1-*sweatdrops* ... Girl 2-Ah! Reid looks like he's in alot of trouble! We should really do something! Girl 1-Hmm.. Ah! *takes out a red capsule ball and raises it into the air "dramatically"* How about we catch it? Boy 3-That's a stupid idea. Girl 1-*lowers the capsule ball down* Buu.. Then, what do you suggest we do you meanie? Boy 3-... *looks at the Nidorino and starts sweating* ... *looks back at the girl* N-never mind.. Go catch it! Reid is continued getting trampled by the Nidorino. Jeez, that Nidorino must really hate Reid. Reid-... ... ... X_X Girl 1-*takes a step closer towards the Nidorino* Neeh.. Boy 2-... Do you know what your doing? *sniffs* Girl 1-Don't worry! I did this before! I'm a pro at catching! Boy 3-Yeah right! Girls can't throw at all! Girl 1-*smoke comes out of her little head* ... *sticks her tongue out, concentrating and stretches her arm back* Here it goes! Nidorino-*notices the ball* !! *mutiple veins pop out as it knocks the ball back with it's horn, growling fiercely* The ball flies and crashes into Boy 3. Boy 3-!! Oof! *falls down* @.@ Girl 1-Ah! No way! It deflected it back! Boy 2-Well.. Of course it did. Your supposed to weaken it. The Nidorino stops attacking poor Reid and looks at the kids. Reid-... ... ... *body twitches* Dah.. X_X Boy 2-! U-uh oh.. It looks like you angered it! Girl 1-Wah!

Cameron: *steps outside and notices Reid, then the other kids* ...What the heck happened?! *takes out a red capsule ball and tosses it in the air with a bored expression* Hm.. Looks like we'll have to do something about this.

[Magoseong]

Seki, now wearing his regular clothing, walks past Cameron. Seki looks like he's ignoring Cameron. Meanwhile, up ahead.. The Nidorino is seen tackling against a tree. All the kids have just climbed up the top of the tree. Boy 1-Wuah! This was a bad idea! Girl 1-Eeek! I hate heights! The Nidorino fiercely tackles the tree, trying to knock it down. Girl 2-Wuaah! Somebody help! Boy 2-... *sniffs* This is quite a troublesome siduation we've gotten ourselves into. The boy who got hit by the capsule ball earlier slowly gets up. Boy 3-Ugh.. Ouch. >_< That hurt! Nidorino-?! *turns around and faces toward Boy 3* ... Boy 3-Huh? *notices the Nidorino* !! Waah! *slowly walks back* W-wait.. Hold on! The Nidorino approaches the boy.. Boy 3-D-Don't come any closer! ... ... ... Nidorino-... Boy 3-*sweatdrops* Erm.. *suddenly dashes off* Aaah!! >_< The Nidorino chases after Boy 3. Boy 3-Waah!! *suddenly trips and falls down* Oof! Ack! ... O-ow.. *gets up slowly and looks back, noticing the Nidorino* !! Aaah! *covers his head, cowering* The Nidorino charges at the boy.. But suddenly, it stops in it's track. Nidorino-..?! Seki appears standing in front of the boy. Boy 3-... ... ... Huh? o_O *looks back and notices Seki* Eh? Seki-... Nidorino-... The two seem to be staring into each other's mind. Nidorino-... *starts sweating and looks embarassed for some reason and it shortly walks away* Seki-... Boy 3-??.. o_O *looks at Seki* H-hey! What did you do..? Seki-... *looks at the boy* You guys should go play somewhere else from now on. That creature was being annoyed because all of you were being too noisy. Boy 3-...

Cameron: *was watching the whole thing and grins* (Hm... what did you do, kid? Kind of strange how a Nidorino stops in it's tracks randomly..)

Shigeki Shigeki-*eventually arrives, sighing* Oh, over already? My bad. ^_^'' Then, Res and May are seen running towards everyone. May-Hey, what's going on?! Res-*notices Shigeki Shigeki* Shige-san! >_< Shigeki Shigeki-Ooohh? *turns around, facing Res* If it isn't the kid that ditched me for that one family.. Heh heh, how do you do? ^_^ Res-*sweatdrops* ...It wasn't like that. >_>'' May-*points at Shigeki Shigeki* You! You perv! Are you the one causing explosions?! >_<'' Shigeki Shigeki-Me?! No! *points at Reid* It was him.

Reid suddenly sits up. His glasses fall apart. Reid-Huuh? What did I do? o_O Boy 3-... S-so, it was just mad at us.. Because we were being too noisy? Okay, then! We'll just play somewhere else.. ^_^'' Seki-... That's one of the reasons why it attacked you. Boy 3-Eh? Seki-... It was frustrated. *giving a sympathizing look* It was abandoned by it's loved ones. Boy 3-Huh? o_O ... H-how do you know that? Seki-Because.. *starts walking back* It told me. Boy 3-*watches Seki* ...? Eeh? o_O The children who climbed up the tree comes down, running towards Reid. The children just scream Reid, while saying some other unimportant things like "Are you alright?!" or "Are you hurt?!" and stuff. Reid-... *gets up, then takes his glasses off and looks at them* Aah.. My glasses. >_<'' Boy 3-... *continues to watch Seki* H-hmm.. What a weird guy.. o_O''

Seki's narration-For as long as I can remember.. I had this weird ability to communicate telepathically with creatures. Some people thought it was a neat power to have, being able to talk with strange monsters called Pokemon.. But, it really doesn't seem like anything special to me. To be able to talk with these stupid monsters.. Seki-... *kicks his feet, sending a spray of dirt to fly into the air* Teh! What's so great about that?! A tall man with a stylish black derby-like headgear and wearing a strange jet black and white tuxedo uniform (half is black, other half is white) with a capital stylized red D (D for Devil) on the front gets hit by the dirt. This guy seems to be part of the Devil Organization (or.. was it called Devil Gang? I dunno, really.). Devil Grunt 1-*vein pops out* H-hey.. Kid. Seki-?! *notices the Devil Grunt* Wua-ah!! S-sorry! Devil Grunt 1 takes out a red capsule ball. Devil Grunt 1-Tch.. Hey! For getting dirt on my uniform, your gunna have to pay the price! Seki-!! Devil Grunt 1 tosses the ball out onto the field - it opens up, revealing a deep blue-gray weasel creature. It seems to have a golden jewel on its forehead and chest, and it's sharp claws are white. "Sneasel" let's out a cry and gets into stance. (For some reason, I feel really stupid by saying that.) Seki is currently reading it's thought - it's being translated. Sneasel-*glaring at Seki* Teh heh.. Seki-..!! *slowly walks back, being a bit intimidated* A-ah..! Devil Grunt 2-... ? Hey. Kid! Aren't you like.. Going to send one of your guys onto the field? o_O Devil Grunt 1-Huh? What are you talking about? Devil Grunt 2-They always throw out their own creatures onto the field to fight against ours. You know.. For self-defense? Devil Grunt 1-... That's just stupid. Devil Grunt 3-! Hey! He's getting away! Devil Grunt 1-? Huh? Seki is seen running away. Devil Grunt 2-Grr! Don't just stand there! >_< Get him! If he alerts the others, our plan is ruined! Devil Grunt 1-*looks at Sneasel* Hey!! Get that kid and shut him up! Chase him down and slash that kid apart! Sneasel-*nodding, then quickly dashes off at an impressive speed* With pleassure.. Fufufu!

Reid (Hey! He's got a new pair of glasses) is now standing in front of a broken machine. This was the thing that caused the explosion and aggravated that horned creature. Reid-... *picks up one piece and examines it, sighing* ... Drat. *drops the piece* They must have been jammed and blew up from inside.. Blasted fireworks.. Now I gotta build this thing from scratch! Again! T_T Reid's trying to build a machine that shoots out mutiple fireworks at once. He calls it a Super Multi-Firework Launcher or something. Reid-... *picks up a rusty gear* Aagh.. I.. I just need better parts here! >_< But with the money I have, I could hardly afford a small dish of Pasta! T_T
