True Title: Tellus 2; Aether Battle Chronicles
Aether takes place in the fictional universe of Pokemon - it's a remake of Tellus.. It's also a distant sequel. Majority of the storyline was inspired by the Mother (Earthbound) series. I don't own Pokemon, all rights go toward Nintendo and Gamefreak.. and that Satoshi guy who made Pokemon.. and whoever else. I am simply just making a "fan-fiction" story for the sheer purpose of amusement.. and other reasons. I doubt anyone would really care about this.

Farbe is a large region home to both humans and creatures called Pokemon.
-Farbe Terminology-
Phazard
It's origins are unknown but it has contiminated many of the Farbe region. Phazard is a deadly mutagen. While dangerous, some humans have the strange ability to "adapt" to Phazard. This grants them strange abilities (i.e, Phazard powered humans can shoot fire, breathe underwater or use psychokinesis). This is what made the criminal organization Devil Gang to be so interested in Phazard.
Cheatingdome Company
A powerful and large multinational corporation that builds several electronic tools. Located worldwide, the Cheatingdome Company of Farbe is headquatered in Everfore City and it is currently runned by Director Masen A. Kay. Currently, Cheatingdome Company is working on a project which will eliminate all Phazard in Farbe.
The Eight Sentinels
The "Gym Leaders" of Farbe. As the name states there are eight in total, each specializing in Pokemon of a certain type - in order; Axel Rock, Sora, Leif, Electra, Walter, ST-331, Marshall and ????. By the names (except ????), you should be able to guess what type they specialize in. When defeated, they give away a "key" to the winner.
Devil Gang
One of the biggest criminal organization in Farbe. Devil Gang has been known nefarious for many cruel Phazard experiments. Their HQs are located all around Farbe. Unlike most criminals, Devil Gang uses very few Pokemon in battle. The grunts usally fight head-on (using any weapons they can find), while higher ranks such as Admins use Phazard. There are few who use Pokemon, such as the leader of Devil Gang (oddly enough..).
Phazaro
Phazaro (Plural form: Phazare) are Pokemon (or other living organisms EXCLUDING humans) that have been infected by Phazard. Creatures that have been infected by Phazard mutates into a monsterous deformed figure. They gain tremendous ammount of energy but also develop a psychotic behavoir. Phazare are extremely dangerous and should not be taken lightly.
Pocket Encyclopedia PUDS - Portable Utility Device System [Dubbed the Poketron]
A highly advanced electronic tool that was created by Cheatingdome Company. Though shortened down to just PUDS, it has been dubbed as the Poketron by many. PUDS act as an illustrated encyclopedia, giving all and any avaiable information that are contained in it's database. It can also be used to store in Pokemon in suspended animation as computer data, similar to the Pokemon storage system in PCs. Along with that, the Poketron also comes with several other functions such as; journal, pedometer, digital clock, alarm clock, calculator, flashlight, recorder, digital map, a calender, a cell phone and many more. Certain types of PUDS also come with an AI unit but these are still under development. [It's design and functions are based off of that of the Nintendo DS and previous handheld systems.]

Story
Strange meteorites have crashed all around the world. One meteor has crashed in Farbe, near the small town of Whitbon. Awakened by the impact, Alec and friends set off to investigate the crash site. After arriving, Alec encounters a strange being who informs Alec and friends about a terrible poison that will consume and kill their planet in the near future. The strange being grants Alec special healing powers and instructs him and his friends to embark on a journey to rid this poison and prevent the destruction of the world..
"Eight" keys must be aqquired in order for Alec to gain access to the Planet's soul and cure the world from the great poison.

Biography-A depressed young boy who has trouble making friends, he is the male counterpart to Raine. He lives the life of a hermit, usually staying in his room. Unlike most boys, Alec seems to have little or absoulutely no interest in Pokemon. Though sometimes act cold, Alec is rather compassionate and kind-hearted and shows those traits through his quiet, sentimental nature. He dislikes having others helping him and often likes acting independantly. Despite being so shy around others, he is incredibly brave for a boy his age. Alec possesses telepathic powers, allowing him to communicate with Pokemon - using these powers in Pokemon battles can turn out to be extremely effective. Of course.. If he only liked Pokemon. He uses a baseball bat in fights.
Alec is "loosely" based off of Seki.

However, she does possess a very feminine side whenever she gets involved in Pokemon Contests, ocassionally even dressing up in formal clothing. She seems to have a split-personality - switching from a violent tomboy in battles to a sweet and passionate lady in contests. In both personalities, she is notable for her confidence and determination to win. Like Alec, Raine possesses telepathic powers, though they aren't as strong. Raine's father is a Sentinel (Gym Leader) and her older sister Maria is a coordinator. Despite being obsessed with Pokemon, she still yet to own a Pokemon of her own. She plans on visiting Dr. Argan (Pokemon Professor of Farbe) to recieve her starter.

Biography-A young naive man who's been given the nickname "Hero" (his real name is never mentioned in this story). Hero, despite his name, is really a very timid, naive and childish coward. He dislikes fighting those who are bigger and tougher then himself and usually uses others as shields. Afterwards, he takes all the credits. Many of his character traits are rather annoying but he does possess incredible psychic powers. He's also pretty strong and athletic, though he doesn't look or act like it. His favourite attack is bashing into enemies on his skateboard. His signature move is PK Crash.
Unlike the original plotline in Tellus, Aether follows more to the Pokemon plotline, having even Gym Leaders involved. By the way, incase your curious.. Alec and Raine's pictures were created by me. I actually had the time to color them too, lol.
