Tales of Omniscia - To Know All and Nothing RPG

Actually, I did post up a rpg not too long ago - but I decided to put up one of my bigger stories. Based off of Namco's Tales series, as seen in the name.. But I also had some influence off of Majora's Mask's rather dark and odd storyline. There might be some moments where it's obviously ripped off of Majora's Mask but for the majority, I tried to make this as "original" as possible.



Prologue
On a personal journey in search for someone, Cho ventures out far away from his homeland. Travelling in old woods, Cho suddenly gets ambushed by a group of mischeivous theives called the Skall Gang who then steal Cho's precious belonging - his childhood friend's sword. Cho attempts to chase down the theives but despite his efforts, Cho only managed to catch one of them - a young girl named Rachel. There, he and Rachel eventually arrives in Central town, in the land of Forcia - a kingdom which has fallen under great depression due to many abnormal hazardous environmental changes that has caused many to die or migrate as well as a broken economic system (there is only the rich and the poor, there is no in betweens). Using Rachel as a "hostage" (as she herself claims), Cho plans on tracking down the Skall Gang members in order to retrieve his childhood friend's sword.



Set in the "classic" universe, the story takes place after the events of LM"s Tales of the Mystic Orb - I guess, I'll say.. roughly a couple of years after. The story takes place in the land of Forcia. Events in Chronicles are non-canon - meaning that they never really actually happened.

You can have a maximum of 7 characters. Of course, you can have supporters along the way. You can also have your own antagonists too - as long as they have some significance to the story.

Biography-At first, many of Cho's characteristics seems like that of a stereotypical hero, along with the ocassional commical traits. However, it seems that he has a neutral point of view on everything. He is never interested in only one perspective but rather tries to see all relevant viewpoints without judging which one is correct. Because of this, he dislikes the terms "heroes" and "evil" and always denies them. He is very sensible when it comes to decision making, so often he ends up choosing the decision that feels "right" to him, disregarding everyone else's opinions. He is known to be supple, being able to adapt to his surroundings in an instant - a rather unique trait he was gifted.

Well, I suppose now we can finally get started! Er.. excuse me for the very long prologue. You can just skip most of it if you want. Basically, Cho ends up in Central Town where majority of the characters are (or should be).

Tales of Omniscia - Prologue

In a faraway land that has kept many memories.. Tells about a boy who has been held responsible for both managing to maintain tranquility and causing destruction of worlds. He was known as one of the greatest legends in his homeland. After overcoming many trials, the boy quietly left his homeland shortly after a few weeks from his last journey. The boy mysteriously vanished - embarking on a secret journey for his own personal reasons.. Several of his friends have went off on a desperate search to find the missing boy. But despite their attempts and efforts, none were able to find the boy..

Thousands of days and nights have passed since.. and even now, many continue to believe that the boy will return back safetly from his journey..


Somewhere, within the far edges of Esterica Forest.
A young man is seen venturing off alone, aimlessly and silently.. The man appears to be wearing a red tunic over a black shirt with it's sleeves pulled back, revealing much of his arm. He is wearing indigo pants, with a sheath wrapped around his waist. He has black hair, he has it tied into a somewhat long ponytail.. This is Cho. Meanwhile, nearby - two young children tirelessly stalk Cho like creeping shadows from haunting nightmares.. Cho-...? *looks around, rather calmly* ... Within a dirty bush.. Two siblings with messy hair and wearing wrecked clothing are quietly whispering to each other. Rachel-What a perfect target..! He's all by himself too..! Wearing poor equipment.. and he looks kinda weak as well.. This should be a piece of cake..! Dawna-But.. You think he has anything valuable, Onee-chan? He doesn't look like he's carrying any gald. Cho-... *looks foward, placing his hand onto his sheath* Rachel-... That sword he's carrying looks pretty expensive.. Let's take that! Dawna-Eh..! Rachel-Alright.. Here's the plan.. ... ... ... Cho-... *yawns out loudly, looking like a sloth* Ugh.. A loud voice is heard screaming. Yaaahh!! Cho-? *turns around* Huh? A girl with messy medium dark purple hair, wearing plain dark purple clothing with baggy dirty pants that cover her feet entirely runs up to Cho, tripping and falling down to the ground - right in front of Cho, acting like a klutz. Cho-?! H-hey! Dawna-H.. Help..!!! *sits up, rubbing her eyes - looking as if she's crying* T.. there's a monster!! Cho-Monster? Dawna-I'm scared..!! Cho-... *slowly approaches the girl carelessly and kneels down* Hey, hey! Calm down.. It's alright. Now.. Where's this monster? Dawna-Ah.. *sniffs and points directly at Cho* Cho-... ... ... ? Dawna-You.. Cho-*making an eerie, confused face* Huh? Suddenly, a medium-long pale red haired older looking girl wearing green broken (left lens) goggles, beige to pale brownish red rags with a ripped dirty skirt, silently appears behind Cho, bashing him on the head with a rather large branch that was broken off from one the trees nearby. Cho-...!! Ugh! X_X *falls down, losing conciousness* ... ... ... Rachel-Heh! *throws away the stick and wraps her arms around her head, looking quite proud of what she just done* See, that was easy.. wasn't it, Dawn? ^_^ Dawna-*rubs his head, looking embarassed* ... I still don't get why I had to act like that, Onee-chan.. Rachel-Eh.. Suddenly, the cackling of a childish maniac is heard. Out of nowhere, a mysterious young demon boy (youngest as well as the shortest among everyone), wearing dirty red clothing and a "familar" straw hat approaches the three. His skin looks rotten and dead, his eyes glow mischeviously red.. Strangely enough, the boy seems to have an appearence that mimicks Cho's younger form. Jikou-Hahahaha! Rachel-Ah, Jikou! Dawna-Jikou-san.. Jikou-That was awesome! Nice job, girls! You did great! Rachel-Hah hah.. ^_^'' Dawna-It was all thanks to Onee-chan who thought out brilliantly here. Rachel-D-don't flatter me, lil sis! This was a pretty easy target.. There was no way we could have failed! Jikou-So.. What's our prize? Rachel-Well.. *kneels down beside Cho's uncouncious body, checking his pockets and clothing though she was only interested in his sword* ... *stands up, showing Jikou Cho's sheath* Well.. What about this? It looks pretty valuable! Maybe worth a couple of gald? Jikou-*quickly walks up to Rachel and snathes the sheath* Huh! ... *looks at it, curiously* Rachel-Uhm.. Jikou-*draws out Cho's sword from the sheath and swings it around loosely* Whoa! Rachel-!! *steps back* B-be careful now! It's pretty damn sharp.. Dawna-Hey! Hey! Jikou! Can I see? I wanna swing it around too! Rachel-Hey! You can't! Your too young! It's really dangerous for you! Dawna-B-but..! The trio all group around each other, focusing on Cho's sword.. Cho-... ... ... *slowly gets up, holding his head* Ugh.. W-what? Huh? *looks around, then notices Jikou with his sword* ! *looks at his sheath, noticing it's gone* Ah..! Jikou-Hahaha! It's kinda fun! Dawna-When's it my turn..?! Rachel-H-hey! Jikou, cut it out! Let's get out of here now..! Cho-... *slowly stands up and just stares at the three, looking really annoyed* ... ... ... Dawna/Rachel-*both notices Cho* !! Jikou-*continues swinging the sword around, ignoring Cho* Hahaha, it's fun! Cho-... *coughs* Ehem! Jikou-?! Huh! ... *slowly turns his head back and finally notices Cho* !! Yah! *turns around* Ah..! *looks around quickly and hides the sheath and sword* Uhm.. Hi! Cho-... ... ... *facepalms and aims his hand at Jikou, beckoning for the return of his sword* ... Hand it back. Jikou-*mocking Cho* Hand what back? Cho-... Look.. You can have my other stuff. Hell, you can even take my clothing for all I care. But that sword is really precious to me. I want it back. Jikou-... If you put it that way~ Cho-... Jikou-*slowly shows Cho the sheath* Cho-... *tries to reach for it* I appreciate it-- Jikou-*draws the sword out and slashes Cho* Cho-!! Augh!! *falls down* Jikou-Hahaha!! Fooled you! *quickly runs away, backwards as he stares at Cho and sticks his tounge out at him* Nyeeh! *runs foward* Let's go!! Rachel-Eh! Right! *follows Jikou* Come on, lil sis! Dawna-Ah! Wait! I'm not good at running! *follows Rachel and Jikou* Cho-... *gets up, smacking dirt off his clothing* Damnit..! *chases after the three*

The chase lasts for hours it seems..
Dawna-Wuah! He's still chasing us! Rachel-Damn, he's pretty fast if he's able to catch up with us for this long! Jikou-Heh heh.. Cho-Hey! Quit running away! Jikou-*runs backwards, looking back at Cho, sticking his tounge out at him* Nyeeh! *runs foward* Well, it's time to lose him! Let's go! The trio heads inside a cave. Cho-*stops in front of the cave entrance* ... Eh.. Sheesh. *quickly heads in* !! *falls down an unexpected hole* Uuaaah!!

Cho-*crashes down flat on his back* Ugh! ... *coughs* Ugh.. *slowly gets up, rubbing his back* O-ow.. *stands up* Damnit.. *looks around* ... Where am I? *covers his nose and mouth* Ugh.. From the stench, it feels like I'm in the sewers.. ... Damnit. That's just great. Well.. *looks up* I can't get back up so I might as well continue on from here.. *walks foward*

After a long travel through the sewers, Cho arrives at a strange door.. Without a thought, he opens it and enters. He mysteriously arrives inside an old built tower. After roaming around, he eventually finds the exit doors.. As he goes through these doors, an old man watches him leave.
Old Man-... Fufufu..

Outside, Cho arrives at Central Town.
Cho-... *looks around* How'd I end up here? o_O'' ... It's been a while since I've last visited an area filled with people. *walks foward and looks around* ... Those kids who took my sword are probably somewhere around here. Well, might as get started.. *sighs*

[~Felly~]

A young boy around Cho's age is seen walking past Cho. He has black hair and purple eyes. He is wearing black armor and has a black sword on his back. This is Kiro. Kiro: *sees Cho* (Hm... I've never seen him around here before. And there's another girl here too. I wonder if they're travelling together. We've been getting way too many wanderers lately.) *stops a few feet away from Cho and turns to look at him* (And the kid looks different too. No surprise there. He's probably lost or something... Eh, whatever.) *turns away and continues walking*

Meanwhile, somewhere nearby, Two of our most beloved, familiar green-heads (only older) are wandering around aimlessly.
Kas-*has on a headband symboling the Mystic Village and he has his arms wrapped around his head and he yawns* Wuaagh... So what are we supposed to be doing again, Mia-chan? T_T Mia-Important business. (If you're to dumb to remember, it's not my job to remind you. >_>) Kas-Huh... But, what are we looking for?! I mean... Come on! Mia-The client. Kas-*glares at Mia* Okay, your answers are making me mad.. -_-''

Meanwhile, back where Cho and Kiro is.
Two really buff, dumb, generic looking mercenaries walk by Cho.
Clay Mercenary 1-Alright... So... Do you remember what the Boss wanted us to get? Clay Mercenary 2-Umm... Food, right? CM1-You sure? I thought he wanted us to get some... Potions and stuff? CM2-Who knows? He's been acting strange lately... Ever since we found that strange robed guy on the path, you know? CM1-Yeah... But, why'd he send Soren-san to lead us out here? This place is pretty far away from where we're staying, you know?

[Magoseong]

Cho-*walks foward, looking around somewhat curiously* Hmm.. The place feels a bit like home. Kinda nostalgic yet.. It feels kinda depressing. *turns around a corner, entering a new area*

A large lion-like creature is seen attacking a group of soldiers in white armor with the Forcian insignia. Soldier 1-*runs at the monster and strikes furiously* Teih! The monster simply dodges and swipes the soldier, knocking him out cold in one hit. Soldier 1-Ugh! Soldier 2-Ah! We weren't trained for this kind of task! Soldier 3-Damnit! These monsters just don't leave us alone! The monster charges and bashes into soldier 3, then bites onto soldier 2. Soldier 3-*sent flying back* Ugh! *crashes onto the ground* Soldier 2-Wuaah!! *drops his sword and struggles trying to escape* The monster tosses soldier 2 into another soldier.. ????-! *quickly leaps sideways, causing soldier 2 to crash into a food stand. Soldier 2-Ugh! The monster roars furiously at the last soldier.. ????-*swirls around two guns, then aims at the monster and fires rapidly* The monster gets hit and in frustration, charges at ????. ????-Teh! *rolls out of the way, while keeping her aim locked on the monster* The monster stops and faces toward ????.. ????-*fires rapidly at the monster again* The monster swiftly dodges the bullets, charging at ????. ????-*jumps over the monster and lands behind it, then quickly faces toward the monster and chants, creating a glyph below* ... The monster turns around and stares at the soldier. ????-O tainted roar that torments souls.. Resound once again! Bloody Howling!! A stream of red light arises underneath the monster, piercing it apart.. Despite the destructive force, the monster managed to outlast this attack and delivered a counter attack on the soldier. ????-!! *jumps back, dodging the attack safely* Ah.. The monster roars at the soldier. ????-*aims her two guns at the monster, getting ready* ... Cho arrives at the scene - he appears behind ????. Cho-What the..? This.. It's a Liger? What's a liger doing here? The Liger suddenly stares at Cho. ????-... ? *notices Cho* !! Hey! Watch out!! The Liger turns to Cho and runs at him. ????-*quickly pushes Cho out of the way* Cho-H-hey! *falls down into a sitting position* The Liger strikes ???? instead of Cho, swiping the ????'s helment off which reveals the face of a woman. ????-!! Aah!! *falls down* Cho-!! *looks at ????* ... S-sheesh. *gets up, tidying himself* That was really unnecessary. The Liger roars loudly.. Cho-... Suddenly, a cowering soldier arrives beside Cho. Scared Soldier-*looks at ????* E-Elda! *looks at the Liger* D-damn.. Alacia's down! Everyone's down..! Am I the only one left..?! Cho-Er.. Soldier-*notices Cho* E-er.. S-s-stand back, citizen! I.. I'll handle this beast!! The liger roars loudly once more.. Soldier-Yaaaah!! *quickly drops his sword and runs away* It's every man for himself!! Cho-... ... ... *kneels down and takes the soldier's sword* Well.. Liger stares at Cho.. Cho-*stands up and swings the sword, getting into his old, familar fighting stance* I guess I'll be the one who takes care of this! The liger charges at Cho! Cho-Heh! Just like old times..

Yamashi: *walking into the village* Huh... So this is where it is... I wonder if I can find any interesting people here. *continues walking*

(ooc: Lol, there's a small error.. I don't think it makes much sense for Kiro to think of Cho as a "kid". Cho's supposed to be portrayed as a "mature" young adult in this story, so it would make sense if he's treated like one. Actually, his real age is somewhere in the 40's, so that technically makes him one of the oldest characters in this story. XD Though it's not really a big deal, it might confuse some people if a youth calls an older person kid.)

Meanwhile, back at the fight scene..
Liger-*snares* !! Cho-Teh.. *places his sword on his hand* I haven't fought for some time.. *swings his sword and gets back into his stance* But this shouldn't be too much hastle.. Liger-Gr..! *dashes at Cho* In an quick instant, Cho enters a flashback..

In Mystic Village Dojo (Several years ago..)
The Liger takes on the form of a young boy with brown hair, wearing a traditional gi. Cho reverts back into his former youth. Kliser-I understand that your a capable fighter Cho.. But I've been noticing that you've been slacking off lately. Cho-Don't be stupid! My fighting style's flawless! Kliser-Right.. You can say after we finish this sparring match. Let's start with the basics. Something simple to get into the flow of battle.. Cho-Basics? Who do you think I am, Kliser? T_T Let's just go straight into it! Kliser-Saids the one who wants to go through everything, one step at a time.. -_-'' Cho-E-er.. Kliser-Fine.. I won't back down, even if this is just for training! Let's go Cho! Cho-Alright! I'm so gunna kick your ass this time! Kliser dashes at Cho, rasing his sword into the air..

Back in reality, at the fight scene.
The liger moved at the exact time as Kliser from Cho's flashback, moving at the same speed and the same direction as him.. It's almost as if they're the same being. Cho-... *wields the sword with his left hand, then charges at the Liger* Tch.. Kliser's voice is heard, only by Cho. Kliser-Kogahazan!! Liger-*leaps into the air and swipes it's claws down at Cho* Cho-*vanishes, moving at incredible speed* Liger-!? Cho-Yuureizan! Several slashes spark past, piercing through the Liger's body.. Cho appears behind the Liger. Liger-!! *bounces up from impact and crashes down* Cho-... *looks back, smirking confidentally* Kliser's voice-O-Ow.. Damnit - you learned a new attack, huh? Well.. I got some new tricks up my sleeves too! Liger-*gets up and rises it's claws high into the air* Kliser-Eat this! Gansaiken! Liger-*slams it's claws hard down on the ground, emitting out a shockwave of poisonous aura that flies at Cho* Cho-*dashes back, sliding his feet across the ground and faces toward the Liger* Hyougajin! *swings his sword, creating a wave of icy pillars to thrust out from the earth which heads straight for the liger* Liger-*the ice pillars reaches the Liger, freezing it momentarily* !! *the sheet of ice around it shatters, dealing major damage to it's skin* !! Cho-*stops moving back and stands still* ... Suddenly, two ligers charge at Cho from behind, ambushing him. Cho-!! *turns his head back* W-wha?! Liger 2-*tackles Cho from behind* Cho-! *turns around and blocks the tackle, sliding back* Agh! *swings his sword and gets back into his fighting stance* ... Liger 1-... *gets up and shakes it's pain and agony off* All three ligers then circle around Cho.. Cho-*looks around* Sheesh.. Outnumbered, huh? It doesn't matter to me.. Injured soldier-*coughs and looks up* Ughh.. Huh? !! *jumps up* W-what?! There's three of them now!? Ah! That guy in the middle's in trouble! *holds his arm* Oo-Oh.. But.. But I can't do anything in this state! Blast! *looks around* I-Isn't there anyone around!? There's monsters here for crying sakes! *notices Kiro (finally)* H-hey you! I don't care who are you.. But seeing that you have a sword - go help out! Don't just stand there! >_<'' ... While you do that, I'm gunna go get help! *quickly runs off*

Clay's Mercenaries are standing nearby, examining the ligers. CM1-Uhh... Why are there ligers here? In the middle of a huge town like this?... That's... Not right. o_O'' CM2-Yeah.. *notices Cho* And that guy's right in the middle of a pack. He's screwed. T_T CM1-Don't be an idiot! Go get some of the others! Go tell Soren-san! Do something! CM2-Right, right! *runs off* CM1-*draws out a short sword* Well... I guess I can help out a bit. *runs at the ligers, screaming like a banshee, trying to get their attention*

Meanwhile,
Kas-*looking around aimlessly* Ok... So, is it me, or is are the buildings around here starting to look the same? T_T Mia-It's just--... *notices Clay Mercenary 2 run by at a very quick speed* Huh? o_O (Why's that guy running so fast?...) *looks forward, noticing the soldier from earlier run by in front of them* ... Kas-*still going on about the buildings looking alike* You know-- Mia-*suddenly runs off, heading in the direction Clay's Mercenary and the soldier came from* Kas-*notices her* H-hey, Mia-chan! Wait up! *runs after her*

Meanwhile, nearby the fight scene..
Jikou-... ... ... Rachel-Heh heh, sweet~! That poor guy doesn't stand a chance against those monsters! ^_^ He's gunna be so banged up, he'll have to give up on getting his dumb sword back! Dawna-But.. Was it right for us to let those monsters get into this town, Jikou? Jikou-*smirks* Who cares.. It's fun. That's all that matters.. Heh heh..

Back at the fight scene..
One of the Ligers notices Clay's mercenary and charges at him. The other two continue to circle around Cho. Cho-... The two ligers leap at Cho. Cho-Tch! *plants his sword forcefully into the ground, creating a glyph which fires out a stream of blue energy* Shugohoujin! The energy stream forces the ligers to retreat back. Cho-*pulls his sword out with his right arm and swings it, shaking off some energy particles that were stuck onto the sword* ... The two ligers get up and stare at Cho, intensely. Cho-... *raises the sword into the air - suddenly his right arm cracks and falls down lifelessly, looking like it's completely broken* ...! *holds his right shoulder* ... Damnit..! I forgot. The two ligers circle around Cho. Seeing him in a vulnerable state, the two ligers leap at Cho once more. Cho-*switches his sword over to his left hand.. it looks like Cho's right arm is horribly wounded from something* Heh.. The ligers sipw their claws down at Cho. Just before impact.. Cho-*swings his sword fiercefully, sending a wave of immense energy which causes the two ligers to fly back* Playtime's over! [Cho enters Overlimit!] Liger-*continues running at Clay's mercenary but notices the energy Cho is emitting* ..?! *looks back at Cho, snarling in awe* Nearby, the fallen soldier Elda Alacia gets up.. Elda-N-ngh.. *slowly gets up on her knees, shaking her head* What..? *looks foward and notices Cho* ...! A bright aura of power surrounds Cho's body. The two ligers roar furiously at Cho. Cho-... Kliser's voice-Alright! I'm not screwing around anymore, Cho! Let's finish this match using "that" technique! Cho's voice(younger)-That.. Technique? B-But! I.. I just learned about that technique a few days ago! I haven't actually, properly mastered it! Your gunna beat me if we do that! >_<'' Kliser-Don't worry.. I haven't mastered it fully either.. But it doesn't hurt to try, huh? Young Cho-I guess.. Kliser-Right! Let's begin.. and end this!! A light shines brightly from Cho's body. Cho-Your finished!! The scene grows mystic dark.. [Hi-Ougi; Dai Kaitenzan - Great Sprial Slash "Alvein's master technique, only Cho and Kliser know this move"] Cho-*swings his sword to the right, causing a bright giant shockwave wall to blast apart the two ligers around him, scattering them all over the place as if they were caught in a hurricane* Hyaaaahh!! *brings his left arm back, getting ready for his attack.. gust and wind gets pulled in towards his body* DAI!! *swings his sword to the left, spinning rapidly - his sword extends into a giant blade of radiance which emits a powerful shockwave* KAITENZAN!! The two ligers get hit and rips apart.. [End of Signature move] The scene returns back to normal. Cho-*swings his sword out and leaves it hanging down on his side* Teh.. *suddenly smiles calmly and pleasantly* (Haven't done that attack for a long time..) Elda-... W-what power.. Who is this person? Meanwhile, nearby.. Jikou-So cool..! Hah hah!! Rachel-N-No way..! That move.. It's..! It can't be him..!! Cho-... *looks around* H-hey.. Wait.. Where'd the third one go? The liger suddenly appears above Clay's mecenary.. Cho-!! Hey! *runs at the mercenary* Watch out!

Kiro: *jumps back to avoid a Liger* (Heh. That guy's good.) *swings his sword around* Alrighty then... *starts walking forward and watches the liger over the mercenary* (That guy better move...) *gets into a fighting stance*

CM1-*looks up, noticing the Liger* ...Oh, shoot-- Then, suddenly, there's a huge blast of wind that knocks over the Liger, barely saving the Mercenary in time... CM1-Huh?! *looks around frantically, noticing Kas and Mia standing nearby, Kas having his sword drawn and it's glowing green, shrouded in wind* Kas-Made it in time... *looks at Clay's Mercenary* Oy, rookie! Get out of the way! >_< CM1-*vein pops out* R-... Rookie?! (Who the hell does that guy think he is?!) *notices Mia* Wait... That's--!! *suddenly looks ill* (Boss's daughter! But, what's she doing here?! She must be looking for him!!) *suddenly runs off* I have to warn him! Mia-*sweatdrops* ...He looked at me and looked like he was about to hurl... Kas-Maybe he thinks your ugly! ^_^ Suddenly there's a bright flash, and Kas is now on the ground, with a huge knot on his head and steam his coming of Mia's fist.. Mia-*eyebrow twitching, much like Clay's* Grr.. You're an idiot. *looks around, noticing Cho* Huh? Wait... Isn't that--? o_O

Liger-*crashes into the ground, snarling* ..! *gets up and looks around, noticing Kas and Mia* !! *quickly charges at them but..* Cho-*appears in front of the liger and thrusts his sword foward and spins it, transforming it into a buzz saw* Ensenga!! Liger-!! Cho-*quickly pulls his sword back and without hesitation* Soryuu.. *swings his sword in all directions, slashing apart the liger - each cut moving so quickly that it's barely visiable - and pushes the liger back with each blow* Rengazan! Liger-!! Cho-*suddenly thrusts his palm into the liger's face, converging a red orb of energy that explodes on the Liger's body* Reppashou!! Sparks shatter from the last liger.. Liger-...!! *gently falls down in defeat* [Battle victory.] Cho-*swings his sword and sheathes it* Heh..

End of battle - returning to normal scene..
Cho-... *looks around - he hasn't noticed Kas and Mia yet* Well.. Now that's taken care of.. I guess I should get going. Elda-... *stands up* Wait! Cho-..? *looks back, noticing Elda* Huh? Elda-... I haven't seen you before. Care to tell me who you are and what your doing here? Cho-... *glares at Elda strangely* I'm just a wanderer, lady - don't get any wrong ideas. If it makes you happy, I'll leave this town as soon as I get back what's been taken from me, okay? Elda-? W-wait.. I didn't mean it like that. Don't treat me so coldly. Cho-... Elda-The way you fought.. I was just wondering if you could-- Cho-..? Suddenly, several soldiers arrive at the scene. These are the reinforcements which should have arrived earlier actually.. Soldier 1-H-hey! *looks at the ligers, examining their corspes* W-wha.. What happened here? Soldier 2-*looks at Elda* Hey, you.. Did you do this all this? By yourself? Elda-No.. It was-- *notices Cho's dissappearence* ! *looks around* H-huh..? Cho, grabbing Kiro, Mia and Kas (he still hasn't notice the two) and pulling them away from the crowd of soldiers, sneaks off to the distant.. Cho-*whispering back to the three* I don't know bout you but.. I don't think it's a good idea to hang around at a scene like that with a bunch of knights.. Somehow, it always gets you into trouble. ^_^

In another area (west of Central Town)..
Cho-*drops all three of them on the ground* Sorry.. That was kinda brash of me. Here, you can go roam around now.. *suddenly walks away, placing his sheath on his shoulder and looking around*

Kas-*jumps up and steam is coming out of head* Hey, hey! Unnecessary roughness there, buddy! -_-'' *looks next to him* Isn't that right, Mia-- *notices Mia's missing* Huh?! Mia-chan?! *looks around frantically* Mia-*standing in front of Cho, circling him and examining him* Huh... You ARE him. It's been a few years... And you've grown and matured alot, but I could tell... It's you, Cho-san! ^_^ Kas-Huh?! Cho?... -_- *jumping up and down* Don't be funny-in-the-head! Cho's disappeared! Why would meet him here, of all places?!

As in Clay's daughter Mia?! *holds his forehead, rubbing it* W-wha.. *notices Kas too* And Kas too?! *looks around and sweatdrops fly off his face in panic* What are you two doing here..?! There's a strange pause of silence. Cho-... *closes his eyes and smiles, laughing gently* Hah.. Well, no matter. It's not a really "bad" thing to meet my old friends. I just never expected to meet you this soon.. Suddenly, a footstep is heard. Everyone-..? Jikou approaches everyone, looking at Cho in a very strange way - he looks like he's envious but at the same time overjoyed to see Cho. Jikou-Heh.. heh.. Cho-You..! Jikou-... *shows Cho his sword and sheath* Cho-... Are you planning to give it back now? I'll chase you down recklessly if I have to. Jikou-*suddenly, the sword erupts into dark smoke - vanishing out of sight* Cho-?! Jikou-... What you did back there was.. really cool. So.. Do you wanna play a game with me? Cho-... Game? Jikou-*nods* Mmm hmm. Your friends can join in too! The more, the merrier! Hah hah..! Cho-... Alright, then. What's this game? Jikou-Wanna play.. a game of hide and go seek? Dawna and Rachel both appear beside Jikou. Cho-... Jikou-The three of us are going to hide ourselves somewhere within in this town. We won't be inside any buildings and we won't leave the town.. Cho-Sounds simple enough. I'm going to trust that you won't do anything.. Jikou-Heh heh.. Don't worry, you have my word.. I'll play fair and square. Cho-... Jikou-If you catch all three of us before next morning, then you get your precious sword back. If you lose.. *in a dark voice* Something very "bad" will happen to you. Cho-..? Rachel-Teh! You may have some skill against handling monsters. But you shouldn't get cocky with the Skall Gang! We've grown up around these streets.. We know the place perfectly. It'll take a miracle for you to find all three of us. I assure you that you'll never find me! Cho-... He, your the one who's getting cocky. I used to play hide and seek alot back then.. I'm usually the seeker and I'm a pretty damn good one too. Dawna-Can we just start? Cho-Yeah, let's.. I want that sword back. Jikou-Okay! Then.. Ready.. Set.. Cho-*looks at Kas, looking pleasant* Haha! I see you haven't changed a bit, Kas.. ^_^ *looking relieved* That's good.. I'm glad you didn't change. But we should really get going if we want to find those three. *walks away* Despite saying that, let's take our time - we shouldn't rush through this so quickly.. It's a big town and it's my first time being here. Everyone ends up following Cho..

As they travelled through the town, searching for the Skall Gang members - Cho begins explaining about everything: his reasons for leaving, what he went through over the past few years and finally about the kids that took his sword.. Somehow his explanations seemed very unclear and strange, making it difficult in believing his words. It felt like he wasn't being honest - which is odd, as he is known to be a very truthful person.
Cho-... I guess I left because it was getting really boring back home eversince our last journey. Knowing me, I'm that the kind of guy who enjoys adventure and excitment.

Kas-... ... ... *sweatdrops* Huh? T_T Mia-He said that it was boring, that's why he left. Kas-Yeah, I heard that part... I'm talking about everything before that. I don't get it... Sounds like one big fib. T_T Mia-...A fib? Kas-Yeah... It's... I dunno! I can't explain it! >_< Mia-*sweatdrops* ...

Cho-... *looks at Kas strangely* Everything before that? What was everything before that? Well.. Anyway, I'll try to explain in a better way.. *places his sheath on his left shoulder* It was just boring back home - there was hardly anything to do.. But that wasn't the only reason.. On top of everything being boring, everyone seemed like they were breaking apart from each other.. There was some issues going with me some of the others. I guess was.. just pretty arrogant back then and often made a complete idiot of myself. One day, my arrogance went out of hand - I got into a brutal fight with Kliser - you probably remember it since we ended up destorying several residents of Mystic Village.. I was annoyed by how he claimed to be the "best" swordsman in the world. I wanted to prove him wrong so I.. The two of us got into a fight. But this wasn't just any fight we usually had.. The two of us were acting like vicious dogs fighting over rotten meat. We just teared each apart without a sane thought.. We really wanted to kill each other - at least.. I did. Eventually both of us ultimately suffered from a fatal injury. I broke my right arm and Kliser lost one of his eyes - I think it was his left one.. It was awful, especially since Kliser was my best friend. After that, Kliser ended up evading me, as if I were some kind of monster to him. You probably remember that incident..

Cho-Heh.. It's true. It was a stupid thing to fight over.. Looking back, I don't even know why I made such a big deal about it.. Claiming to be something is alot different then making attempts in becoming something. Besides.. Even if you were acknowledged as the best swordsman in the world - would it make that much of difference or impact on your life? Maybe there'll be some sastifaction but the way I see it, it doesn't really seem that acommplishing. I'd rather sharpen on my skills for survival rather then for fame. Besides, trying to become something flawless and perfect is undoubtably impossible. Surely by now, you guys know that..

Kiro: Hm. I don't see much point in being perfect... Everyone makes mistakes, so no one's perfect at all. There's not even a point in being a "best swordsman." There's always someone who's better than you in some aspect. It wouldn't really make much of a difference.

Here's my theory. *crosses arms* Just because your the best swordsman doesn't mean your perfect or anything.. It just means your best. It means that the other swordsmen of the world aren't as good as you, but that doesn't make you perfect... The only way you would be perfect if you were the strongest person in the history of everything in existence... Even then, you wouldn't be completely perfect. Don't you think? Mia-I guess. Kas-Yup. *nods* So you guys don't have to envy me. With enough training, even you can become as strong as me.. ^_^ Mia-... ... ...

Cho-I meant perfect as in being a perfect swordsman.. I used to thought being the best swordsman in the world meant having to clear and get rid of all your flaws and gain every possible strength of a swordsman.. To me, that felt like you had to be absolutely perfect. That's how, back then, me and Kliser saw it - we wanted to become "perfect". Especially since there were alot of great swordsmen in the world, all having only one or two minor flaws. In order to become better then them, we had to become the perfect swordsman.. Become the best of the best. But.. Obviously I don't think that way anymore. *leers at Kas* Still - I'm kinda impressed that you said something like that Kas.. Normally, I'd expect that to be said by someone with.. you know, better intellect. ^_^ *coughs, then laughs in a friendly manner* I'm just teasing you.. Don't worry. I'll admit that, at some some times back then, I was kinda annoyed by how "smart" you really were Kas. *makes a dumbfound expression* You might not be the brightest guy I know.. *in a happy and calm expression* But you always end up saying the right things about a certain topic. The group chases after Rachel tirelessly for a very long period of time, at a very fast pace.
Rachel arrives near the tower where Cho came out of. Rachel-*pant, pant* Hah hah.. *stops for a short rest* Whew.. Cho shortly arrives. Cho-*looks around and notices Rachel* ! Hey! Rachel-...! D-damn! He's really quick..! He managed to catch up with me..?! He doesn't even look tired.. Unbelieveable..! *looks around and notices the tower behind* ... I'll.. I'll hide in here then! *quickly heads inside* Cho-Hey! *stops in front of the entrance doors of the tower* ... Sheesh. Everyone eventually arrives (most should be exhausted).. Cho-... *turns around and faces towards the group* Come on - she went in here. ... Hey, are you guys okay? o_O You look kinda tired..
