Killzone 2

I remember playing the first killzone game back on the PS2! It was no Halo killer that it was made out to be but it was rather good and it seems Killzone 2 on the PS3 will be much much better.

How do I know this?

Because I've been playing the Online Killzone 2 beta that for one reason or another I got an invite to from Sony via Email with a code. The graphics are amazingly good but still short of that E3 trailer footage from a few years ago before the PS3 was released lol

Game play seemed rather good as well and providing it has a decent ranking system and online modes it could turn out to be a system selling game like Haze was meant to be.

In the US people pre-ordering the game before release will get access to a demo soon apparently and in the UK a demo will be released over the PSN network somtime before release. No dates have been given so far.

I never played the origional Killzone, but heard reviews were poor?? Like there was unreal hype over it, but it didnt deliver? I'm 'worried' this will do the same???

Yea the orginal Killzone on the PS2 was hyped up way to much and it failed to meet expectations just like Haze did last year and look how badly that turned out.

Despite this I still enjoyed killzone but Killzone 2 is looking much better and I dont think Sony can afford for this to fail! It needs to be a system seller for them.
