Attemt Number 1...

So which do you like better? The original DragonBall was pretty amazing but I like DBZ better I guess because I started watching that better so by the time I got to DB it just seemed different and not as good. Like most shows, GT was carried on and ruined it. :( BUT Super Sayan 4 Goku was...A...BEAST! I mean...Orange Outfit with medium length hair to long hair, yellow pants, and pink fur and a TAIL!? AMAZHING! Ahh...gooood times...

So which do you like better.

Dragon Ball reminds me of my childhood. When I first moved into the area I live now, I mean. So, for nostalgic reasons, Dragon Ball. I used to watch it every night before dinner. Plus. It was epic. But the episodes were never in order xDDD

Except for the new ones. But the repeats were all over the place. I dont get two things actually...

One - Why was Goku like 20 years old but had the voice of maybe a 12 year old and the body of a 6 year old?

Two - One time Goku went up to the sky with his little magic pole thing and a couple episodes later he suddenly becomes normal heighted and has a normal voice? ... :confused:

No during the early and mid points of DB, Goku was no more than like 9 or 10.

My favorite was DBZ. Hands down. It's where the most action and bulk of the story takes place.

He was only 13? I couldve sworn he at one point said he was older. Cause me and my brother were watching it one night and we here it and start cracking up cause hes a midget. Lol. xD

I agree with Gohan. I think DBZ lasted the longest, than DB, than GT but DBZ was one of those continuations that was greater than the first but GT dragged it on. :(

Btw, Gohan, did you see my suggestions? I have more to offer if theres a problem with the others.

I did and I like them. However, with our current members I don't think those would be very active topics. I think we should wait until we have accumulated new and/or active users. Your ideas are good ones though:D

Anyway, there were some really good parts in GT that DBZ could not come close to beating but DBZ had more parts than GT in that category so...*Stares off into space*

DBZ was the best cause it had Vegeta!!! Also Cell kicked ass in the episodes that he was in. by the time GT came around everything had already been done.

Oh I see. I have heard many different ages from plenty of sources. I haven't watched DB in along time, but I'm pretty sure Goku's first tournament isn't until later into the series. Ah well.:P

But it was just a minor tournament inorder to get to the big ones.

No. Goku was still a little guy, when i say little i mean small, when he was in his first tournament.

And Gohan and Goten were both in GT, although they weren't seen as much as they were in DBZ

I grew up with all three of them, and I must say DBGT was mostly horrible when it was dubbed into English.

I still say that DB and DBZ were greatness and I could not live without either.

Are you saying GT was horrible or just the worst of the 3 cause I like GT, just not as much as DB and DBZ. I liked some of the characters too like all of the SS4's

I'm saying that it was enjoyable, but not so much when I watched it in the English dub version. I originally saw it in the Spanish dub which kept all of the original music.

I always watched them in English but it didnt looked dubbed. Of course it was since it was Japanese but I thought there was still music. Ill look up a video on Youtube. If not I still liked it.

he did, he fused with Kami which made him a Super Namek again don't you remember them mentioning how if Piccolo and Kami were together sooner, most of they're problems with people like Frieza wouldn't have lasted long then again if it happened earlier we probably wouldn't have Vegeta around

Frieza was a pansy. He was so nutless that he went running to daddy to help him destroy earth. the only reason Picollo didn't kill him was cause he was distracting him and also cause goku was sucking everyones life into the spirit bomb. Heres a funny question: why did all of the movies end with all the z-fighters giving goku their life force to kill the baddys?

Lol, cause thats the ultimate energy bomb thing. And did GT end like that? I dont remember cause I just stopped watching it. :mad: But it was good the first couple of times but after that it kind of got old and killed it. :(

I loved Frieza. I didnt like how he kept coming back with another look though. ;) I liked Cyborg Frieza the best, he was sick.

yeh but still. at least find another way to kill them. by the fifth movie it was getting really old. they should have at least once given it to vegeta to do a big bang, or krillin to do a destructo disk

either way a destructo disk would do a number but a lot of people knew how to do it other than krillin, only one person has caught the destructo disk and that was either on one of the Tree of Might or Dead Zone movies i can't remember which one

Not all characters had the ability or knowledge to absorb the energy of others. Goku learned to do this while training with King Kai for the purpose of the Spirit Bomb.

I never thought that the Destructo Disk was that great but the Spirit Bomb was. I like the idea of maybe Vegeta getting a chance to be the hero but I dont think he ever wanted to be seeing as he came to their world as a villain. But maybe someone else should have done it. Maybe Goku gets injured and Goten and Gohan come and save the day. ;)

lol the desructo disk wouldn't blow their face off, it would chop their face in half the spirit bomb completely obliterates them, but yea vegeta had the intentions like when he blew himself up to kill buu but he regenerates from the few vapors left of him and vegeta and goku did fusion to kill a few villains so technically he was a hero a few times

^True. Like he and Goku fused to form Gogeta and beat Omega and another time when they fused with the earings to form Vegito to beat Super Buu. And I was looking at Google Images of Baby Vegeta and the video of when he formed. I completly forgot about that. :eek: But why was he called Baby Vegeta? ...-.-

how can you be half a hero? he was still part of gogeta and vegito and even then gogeta didn't beat omega and vegito didn't beat buu, goku killed both of them, gogeta just weakened omega a lot and vegito made him stronger cuz they took fat buu out lol

The point is that basically Vegeta has helped somehow before. Even if it was just to weaken an enemy, it was still helping because than Goku would never have been able to kill either of them.

Vegetrunks sounds funny, lol. I would rather have seen Trunks be Gohan's age, they fuse, and then Vegeta have another kid Gotens age and they would fuse. And where exactly does Trunks come from. (The name not the kid) I mean, Vegeta...Trunks? I mean theres GOku, GOhan, GOten...? :P

Yea some of the names definately have some thing funny that they translate into. Like Hercule is kinda like the greek god Hercules who was Über strong. Seriously you wouldn.t call chiautzu that cause it sound cool.

Yeah, Dragonball Z was only on free tv for a couple years, and then it was put on Cartoon Network. Only way you could get Cartoon Network was to get cable or satellite.

Its funny, hes supposed to be the best fighter on the planet, and so an alien comes, he beats it, then another one thats stronger comes and he beats it, then he dies and comes back to life...I mean come on! noone watched it for storyline, they just wanted to see fighting
