I only have an Xbox 360.

I've heard that there arent many good games with the Wii, I dont know if thats true or not and I dont like the controller.

I just dont want to bother with the money for the PS3 when I have a PS2.

I have an Xbox360 and PS3... I cant really argue about the price, it is a lot but then again it does function as a blu-ray player as well. Not enough exclusive games? Hows this for a list :P

Pfft, wii sucks so hard. I would love a PS3 but im poor and therefore cant afford one. And if i got a 360 i would only ever play Halo 3 so it would be pointless

^I feel the same way about the PS3. Theres no way I could afford it plus I have an Xbox 360. And once you get some other games, trust me, you will never play Halo again, lol. Thats what happened to me.

^^Why bother with Blu-Ray now when a lot of people have a DVD player or a PS2 which works as a DVD player or something else.

I prefer the Xbox 360 because unlike the PS3, it knows what it wants to be. The 360 was designed to be a games console, and that is what it wants to be - a pure and simple gaming machine. This means that it plays games excellently.

The PS3 on the other hand was designed to be a games console, a Blu-Ray player, an Internet browser among other things - as a result it doesn't really know what it wants to be, meaning it isn't as much of a great game player as the 360. Also, this multiple personality disorder as you could call it ramps the price up significantly. The 360 is simply a games console and this means it is significantly cheaper.

Some may not agree with this and I can understand why, as they may like their games console to be a Internet browsing DVD player aswell as a gaming device. However, I think if you want these things, just simply get a Computer, and get a Blu-Ray player. That way you can focus on playing your games rather than browsing the internet.

All the consoles have their up's & down's. I don't really have a favorite because I've found something in each one that I enjoy and that the other one does not have.

The 360 get a lot of exclusives. It may not get all of them but It gets a lot DLC-wise. It's a better Online gaming system then the PS3 to me but thats just my opinion.

The PS3 has MGS4. Nuff' said.

I enjoy to play the Wii but it's more of something that'd be a lot more fun if you were drunk.

^Thats really when it starts to get expensive. Hopefully it will be like the 360 now where there is a Hardrive or an Arcade which is cheaper for those who dont need memory except in the future it will be without all of the internet and such. I just have a computer for that. :/

And to back up the 360, it can play DVDs because it reads discs. It reads game discs so common sense dictates it can read DVDs aswell. Just a by-product really. And the online movie service is part of Xbox Live, not Xbox 360. The Movie service would not be available on a 360 that isn't wired up to Xbox Live.

I've only got a Wii. (It's not my only gaming system, but it's the only one that's in the poll. :P I do have a DS for anyone wondering.) I must say, I love the thing. :) To me, it just seems like it has the easiest controller schemes and such. (Now don't get me wrong here, I've used all 3 of the console's controllers. And I'm not too fond of an Xbox 360 controller. xD) And the games are amazing imo. And it's great for all ages too, considering that there's little to no T or M rated games. (Now I do know of a few T rated games on the Wii, so yeah. And I do think I saw one M rated game on the Wii. =/) So thar be my arguement.

Right now, get a 360.
The Wii has potential, but it isn't worth it until it has at least 20 good games.
Right now there is only about 8 I can think of.

I have an Xbox clinging on for dear life, currently living in pieces on a bench; still works with some fumbling. Yes I will definately look at investing in a 360... although I may look into the PS3 as well; It looks like the black hulking monster might actually be worth a go... unlike it's predecessors.

Wii is a sometimes console, I can really only play Wii for any real period of time on a decent sized tellie.
