I just bought this game on the XBLA (Its also coming out for PSN today.) and I have to say; downloadable games have come a long way in just a few years. This game could very easily pass for a full-retail product. My jaw dropped when I played this game for the first time. It is a Multiplayer-Only game, but its one of the best online experience's I've ever had. There's only 3 maps (A 4th one will be unlocked after 43 million community kills) but the maps are huge. Everything can be blown up much like Battlefield: Bad Company and having 24 people on the map just adds to the fun. You can get in planes, tanks, boats, and jeeps. Its a great game. If you have an extra 15 dollars you can spend, this is the game to spend it on. Trust me, you will enjoy this game. I'm on the half-hour trial for it, it's just like it was for the BF: BC demo when it came out - laggy as **** due to mass popularity

Gonna wait for EA to fix their servers...Wake Island on the Frostbite engine is PURE WIN though :D

Apart from the BF2 expansion packs, I've played every Battlefield game...every major one anyway...just realised haha, I feel proud :P

It took me a good 15 minutes to get into a game, but the wait was worth it to me. Wake Isle is the best map there is. I don't like Iwo Jima or the other one as good. I love calling the air strikes though! :D

Through the xbox interface or http://marketplace.xbox.com to queue it for donwload. And I guess through the ps3 if you want it on that. Because it was so populart they are having server issues, by the end of the weekend expect these to be sorted as they bring on new servers.

I saw a youtube video of it and the graphix dont look that great. I dont know if its worth 15 bucks.

Are you kidding me? lol, they're AMAZING graphics for an XBLA game!

Besides, it's not about graphics, it's gameplay, and BF games never let down on gameplay :D

Well for an XBLA game it has good graphix. Maybe Ill try it out when the servers are fixed.

I ALMOST bought it after my 30 minute trial, but I feared I would quickly ignore it with other great games coming out around...this time actually. Of course, I also got very annoyed with Battlefield: Modern Combat and Bad Company around Major rank.
