Out of curiosity, do you guys do crack? Sure, there are some things Guitar Hero 5 has that I like, but me personally...I don't know how you guys can stand it. Indie rock? No thank you. They don't have labels for a reason. Johnny Cash? L.M.A.O.
Now, World Tour didn't exactly have the best setlist either, but the songs I did like were huge. Crazy Train, Misery Business, Rock Band was easily shamed by the inclusion of World Tours shining songs.
But...I just don't understand Guitar Hero 5. I really don't.

Why must there be so many guitar hero games?

So much music, so little space.
That's Guitar Hero's motto. Well, it ought to be.

Just because there are a few songs or bands doesnt mean it isnt a bad game. I mean if it really bugs you just dont buy it.

This is what I think about RB VS GH.
GH-Good solid set list usually containing a set list revovling around one genre. It has good instruments. Guitar-tap neck (really usefull), easy to hit buttons, exellent strum bar and whammy Drums-quite, pressure sensative, and symbols. Mic- normal, wired
RB- Average set list usually containg a set list with a little of all genres to satisfy all types of music. Guitar- no tap, poor strum (near impossible) loud clicks, hard to reach flat buttons. Drums-loud, not touch sensative, no symbols have to bang really hard for it to recognize it. Mic-normal,wired
Guitar Hero's instruments are what make the game better than rock band. If this were not a issue Rock Band would win. Rock Band 1 cannot support the Guitar Hero instruments. Rock Band 2 and above DO support the Guitar Hero instruments. So get Guitar Hero:World Tour with TWO of the awesome newer guitars and drums and mic. Then go buy the Rock Band 2, and Rock Band 1 CDs. THEN go to the PSN store and buy the option to merge the Rock Band 1 songs onto the RB2 disc. Your set.

Actually, I am almost 80% sure I was playing Run To The Hills with my Gibson X-plorer for Rock Band 1. No matter, Gibson X-plorer + Rock Band 2's DLC and Setlist songs = Win in my opinion.
