Oh yeah. I played the demo and I must say, Batman is this year's BioShock. I know thats saying a lot just from playing a demo of the game but its amazing. The graphics are awesome and the way the AI acts whenever some of their buddies start to disappear is just great. Download this from PSN or XBM. Trust me its great.

Hmm I saw this in Wal-Mart today and didn't think much of it being a Batman game. The poster looked good; but all do. I guess that's the next download i need to get.

I pre-ordered this game ages ago just on the fact that it was batman and free from a film tie-in. I am glad from having played the demo to death that it is a great game, really justified my spending on the limited edition :)

Steelix: it might come as a DLC on the xbox you never know.

I saw a comercial for this and I hated it lol. But yeah the graphics looked great but I agree with Monster Hunter and it being a Batman game. But maybe I will download the demo to try it anyways.

It really is. I go as far as to call it the greatest superhero/comic game ever. Even better then spiderman 2

Aha, Mark Hamill's voicing the Joker again. That alone makes it a worthy purchase. :D

But I already have too many games on my wanted list, so.. At most, I'm probably just gunna rent it. Probably not, because the games I want to rent are always out. T_T

It was good that they put the joker back into mark hamill, and not to have him try to imitate the heath ledger joker, because you couldnt possibly outdue heath ledgers performance as a dark joker, but mark hamill does a good job at the funny joker

Well I played a demo at a Gamestop and the graphics are incredible but whenever I tried to hit someone, I would send them flying, then they just shot me and I had to walk forward to hit them again. lol. Is it always like this or am I missing something?

My copy arrived just before I headed out for the weekend so I have been unable to play the final game yet. I am dissapointed with the collector edition's batarang though. It looks extreemly cheap and you can see the cutting marks. I can see a day in front of the monitor gaming for me tomorrow :)

although i can see the desire to run around with a replica batarang using nightvision goggles and wearing the halo helmet :P

As far as someone shooting you, you can sprint to them or point the control stick towards them and then press the strike button and that should close the distance pretty quickly. Or you could double that the 'A' or 'X' button to roll towards them.

This game is my vote for game of the year no doubt about it. Its only minor downfall is the first part of the final battle(Way too easy). Other than that the game is solid.

I am a big batman fan so decided I would like the extra content and the batarang.

as for game of the year gohanx, theres still 4 more months left of the year, so don't use your vote now, assasins creed 2 and spliter cell conviction are both on the way, personally the game seems to familiar, like theres not much to it

They have announced DLC for Batman already. Its two extra challenge levels and they are going to be free. They will be released on Thursday just in time for the PC release of the game.

Hmm. Disappointing. I would have expected Harley Quinn levels for PS3 and Joker levels for Xbox 360.

This one is free but I know where your coming from. RE5 is a great example.

They allow it with certain content. For instance some of the cod4 maps eventually became free. I think it tends to be on a product by product basis.

Most likely, especially as steam runs directly against the Games For Windows Live system.

So far it hasnt shown up on xbox marketplace website but shows up if you go to Market Place directly from the Downloadable content menu ingame.

Well, I'd hate Valve too if I were Microsoft due to their extraordinary procrastination techniques. Nobody just came up with the definition of "Valve Time" for no reason.

I also think because of Steam, and the fact Valve is making twice the money selling their games to both console gamers and PC gamers at almost the same time, they don't want to even think about Free DLC.

That's what they want. In my eyes, they probably can do more with PC than with a console. Not to mention I'm sure Microsoft has a trendy idea to charge a company to put DLC on the marketplace IMO. It seems logically like something Bill Gates would do.
