Help with wwf smackdown!!!

I just bought a ps2 for my son and picked up wwf smackdown j.b.i.
My problem is with tag team wrestling:( It dosent say anywhere in the manual how to tag in your teammate!!! can someone please help me as i want to fight a tag match not a handicap match!
