Grab a Trophy

You know the 2nd bonus stage in Classic Mode where you have to knock those 3 trophies into a cup?

Well, I'm trying to get all three because if you get all the trophies that appear in a game you get a special bonus and I need it for the Diskun trophy.

Got any tips. P.S. I like using Roy, Luigi and Ganondorf.

Try using different people to accomplish this. Mario, Link, Pikachu, and Kirby are good at doing this.

The Diskun trophy is the only one I don't have but the awards I can't get are:

Flying Meteor: Hit a flying enemy with a meteor attack
Hammer Throw: Threw the hammer away
Lethal Weapon: Hit with a wide variety of attacks
Power Shielder: Used power shield often (3 or more times in 1 minute)

Got any tips on how to do these?

Flying Meteor

Play a Sudden Death game with 0.5 damage ratio. Choose Link or Young Link for you and another human as Kirby. Play on Brinstar (with the yellow acid). Walk Kirby to the edge of the platform on the left (the bottom platform). Have Link just above him. When the acid rises quite high (but not submerging the level) walk Kirby off, he will bounce vertically. Now walk Young Link off and Meteor Smash him off the screen. You need to Star KO to get the bonus.

Hammer Throw

On the same level and settings, choose hammer as the only weapon and items on very high. Now wait for the acid to rise and walk into the acid with a hammer. You will fly up. Now press Z to drop the hammer. Now win the match.

Lethal Weapon

Play a 1 min coin match, 0.5 damage ratio on Hyrule Temple. Choose a heavy opponent (human again). Use 3 smash attacks (with C Stick) all 4 of you special attack (B attacks) and all 5 of your midair attacks on the human just ONCE. Do not KO him. Collect some coins and win.

Power Shielder

Play a slo-mo coin match (1 min). Choose any two human characters. Now choose a flat map (Final Destination is best) and walk the two near each other. Press A on 1 controller and watch the character hit. As soon as the other guy is about to be hit, press L or R. He should shield and you should see a white explosion but no shield. This is a power shield. Do this 3 times in a minute.

There. BTW, I have the Collecter bonus. I just need to work out how to get the Meteor Survivor. I have played countless melees where a meteor smashed a human player off the screen and got him to recover but I never get the bonus!

luigi has a 1-hit KO
