The GameCube is not bad.

I used to think that the Xbox was the Suxbox until I played the games, now Halo and DOA3 are two of my favorite games.

If you just tried playing the games for GameCube you just might like them. Try Resident Evil, or Eternal Darkness, Super Smash Bros: Melee is really cool too. You can't pass judgement on a game or system until you have played it. Not all of the games are kiddie. I have seen some bad games on Xbox, but that doesn't mean that the whole system is bad. Why don't you try playing Luigi's Mansion or Pikmin and see how far you get.

My guess is that you tried to play the games in the store but, you couldn't play very well, so you say they are kiddie and dismiss them.

Over all the XBOX is the best.
Look at the facts
Games are awesome for the XBOX
not so good for the GC
online capability for XBOX
have to wait a while for GC (even if there is going to be any)
XBOX has around 400+ games in the making now
GC has what like 4 in the making right now.
The color and design of the XBOX is good.....
The color and design of the GC is horrible.. Color is so freakin gay and the design I don't care about. Who the hell cares if one console is big and the other one looks like a lunch box. Complete with a little handle.

for the price you pay Gamecube is ok if all u want to do is game hard, pah if u want to do that u PC game. Xbox is by far superior if u compare specs, I mean just a quick look at communication and matchmaking proves that to us. having a hard drive, cd ripping ability and soundtrack creation the extra few dollars you spend is worth it. but really nintendo is more aimed at the younger age, children 8-13, whilst Xbox and PS2 have games that also range for the older audience 14-18
