Can Anyone Help Me With Neverwinter Nights???

I'm playing Neverwinter Nights and i have reached the pinnacle of the host tower in Luskan but when i go to fight Maugrim and Aribeth there is a big locked gate in the way. I can't seem to find any sort of key for it anywhere and i was wondering whether it was just a bug with my version of the game. I have downloaded all the latest patches up to version 1.22. Does anyone know what i can do??

you mean the gate with the golem in front of it?

There's no golem there on mine. It's at the top of the tower, and i can see maugrim, aribeth, and morag but there's a gate in the way which will not open or be bashed. There was a golem in the room down the stairs from there, where maugrim's journal was. I'm really getting annoyed with this now, i just went and bought myself a bow to see if i could kill them from behind the gate but i can only kill the lizardfolk!!! Any suggestions?

is there any chance you could send me the files which enable me to start at chapter 3? I assume this is the end of chapter 2

I uninstalled the game after i finished it so i don't hav the savegames anymore but i will check for u
