View Full Version : a little help needed
Hi
I can't seem to get the console to open in Jedi Knight II. I have tried the cheat codes way, nothing. I tried shift and ~ I even tried shift, + and ~ just incase and that didn't work.
Is there another way to open the console? Any help would be gratefully recieved.

To enable cheats, while playing a game, bring down the console with [Shift + ~] and type: "devmapall". You can then enter any of the following codes in the console:
Code Result
god...... God Mode
noclip..... No Clipping Mode
notarget..... Enemies Ignore You
kill..... Kill Yourself
give all..... All Weapons and Health/Armor at Max
give health...... Health at 100%
give armor...... Armor at 100%
give ammo..... Ammo at 100%
give X #...... Give Item X (# = amount)
where....... Tells you where an enemy entity is
drive_atst..... Ride a ATST
undying...... Sets max health/armor to 999
taunt...... Makes the lightsaber handle pin in kyle's hands
levelshot..... Takes a screen shot without the HUD
npc spawn [character]...... Will spawn a character of your choice
npc kill all...... Kills all npcs on the level
setForceAll [1,2,3]..... Set all your force powers to the level you want.
g_saberrealisticcombat 1...... Chop off the limbs of your enemy

You read his post you idiot. Shift and ~ doesn't work for him. Duh. You really don't know how to help do you. Read his question CAREFULLY...
Thanks Centurian. The advice you gave on the console worked, I can now get it to appear. Now I just have to solve the occasional sticking and stuttering in the game and I'm up and running.

JayC: Common problem. A US keyboard requires you to press ~ while the UK keyboard requires the key under Esc (`).
nakedGunman: See, you need to READ the question first. You basically copied the cheat already up on C/D. No help at all. :P
