It said its probably going to be out around January or Febuary of 2003. Iahave a demo film on it its so tight it has better graphics and its going to have a new warthog that is sooo COOL.

halo 2 is not comming out til cristmas of 04 i have sources from bungie and microsoft:angryfire microsoft has a contract with bungie that states that bungie has to do halo's 2&3 but bungie finnally found out that ps2 will pay them 3 times more than microsoft and pay the cancellation fee of the contract with microsoft if they sign on with ps2 thats what the hold is going to be. bungie realized that they could make more money off this gamethan any game the came out with.witch mind you the fee for braking a contract could reach upto 2.9 billion dollars and ps2 is ready to pay that amount its all upto bungie. nodout about it the game is underdevelope as i speak inoder toget it ready but the Q is witch box will it be in???????? i say x-box

ther is no realese date that has been officialy announced but it should be late 3rd quarter or sometime 4th quarter '03. yes it will be fall '03. you can find info about it at halo.bungie.org. they have lots of info. loooots. if you have any questions about halo 2 i can probably answer them if ther is an answer.

ok this may not be useful to you all, but if you got to " www.gameplay.co.uk " they have a release date forthe gamethat you can purchce now so u garanteed the game whenever it comes out. att he moment they havethe release date set as "31st october 2003" this may be a long way from now but when it comeso ut wit will of been worth the months of wait for this amzing game.

I rate hope the release date is brought forward afew months but it prob be deleayed to november as it will be what all kidsand aldultswant for X-mas.

Halo 2 will not ship intill 04. Bungie just announced it today. Its because there are trying to make it 100 xs better than halo 1 with many online capiblities

I know that some sequels are sometimes a bit.... iffy but if Bungie haven't made too much change to the orginal gameplay, in games like halo, simplicity is really the key don't u think, I mean my little sister can play Halo so that's alright if my friends andI need to make up numbers

ok i had two different sourcse of the dates:

well GAME the shop, has the days for the forth quarter of the year and they say it usally mean it be out early first quarter next year.

and

gameplay.co.uk has changed the date from 31october 2003 to 26March 2004

Still a bloody long time to wait for the most likly amazing game.

When its out beleave me my copy being reserved now so when its out i know i'll get it that day :D

hey yall i got some really good news! HALO 2 IS COMIN OUT IN JUNE OF 2003 SO YALL CAN GO BUY IT AND MY B DAYS IN JUNE SO IM LUCKY! i got a tips and tricks book that tells that its comin out in june
