Hi , just wanna know what cars it takes for the " Touring Race ".
I try with all the cars in my garage but it's still write no entry .. plz somone can hook me up :headbang:

ok, but i don't understand .. i try almost all the cars for the touring race event ... still not able to enter ...

i've just strated a new game and i'll keep all the cars i win... maybe i'll be able to enter with one of those cars

Hi, The_[R]at, Try choosing a car, ( I used a Mercades Benz), push in the left trigger. That will show you what races the car can enter. Also, save the game before you buy a car. Fix it up and try it out, if you dont like that one, you can go back to load and do it again. That way you dont get stuck with a car you dont want, or loose money on it. I finished the game in one day, but the N/A cars are not as fast as the same cars that the computer uses, (like my viper against the computers viper). I think there may be another part to unlock, but have not yet found it. This is my 4th game. Good luck !:)

No problem. Glad I could help. If anyone finds out if there is a step 3 on N/A tune, or another way to make the Dodge Viper and Caspita cars faster, PLEASE let me know, its driving me crazy!!!

Alright, I've beaten the game and all the challenges. Right now I'm up stairs and I had forgotten most of the touring cars. One i can guarantee you should work is the Opel Astra, as well as on of the Benz's. Anything that generally looks like a sporty sedan/coupe is able to race it. Other than that, hold down one of the triggers, i forgot which one, when looking at a car and it will tell you weather it can do touring....Good luck w/ the challenge, I'de have to say that Touring is one of the funnest since all the cars are rather close in statistics and rather the same-looking in shape, so the race isn't as diverse as the others where you can definately see the difference between 1st place and 6th. Here, you all ride together 'till the finish line :)

the official tip in the codebook:

start out with the Peugeot 206 2.0 S16 and win the hot hatch event race. you will win the Renault Clio Sport V6 24V. switch to that and sell the Peugeot. you will be able to beat the early stages of the official race mode with ease.

I bought the Toyota Corolla 1600GT first and put in minor mods (exhaust, etc.) and beat the first 3 cars in the Sega Drag until I had enough to buy the Mazda Savannah RX-7 and put the same mod in. It beat the Mustang GT390 in the Sega Drag and I won the Dodge Charger which will gain you lots of money in the Drag race until you can top it out at 800hp and win loads of money for other cars.

to unlock super racing mufler, turbine step 3 and na tune stage 3 you must do hach back event , monster group B and touring event only in the season 2 .. not before ( i did it in that order, don't know if it change something )

hummm what else .... well to win the special prize in an event you must race it once ... than race again but this time ... you must be the last one before the second lap and finish 1st

for the drag race, just race it 3 times ...

maybe everybody know that but just in case ...

Ive tried buying cheap ass cars and doing em up but they dont go fast enough

then the 206 and can't keep up with n e thing that has a 6 init.


what do i do?

Believe me, if you put the right mods in the car, it will beat the stock cars on the Sega drag track. You won't be able to beat the Mustang GT390, but just beat the first 3 before it to collect cash and buy a better car. It takes time to get a good amount of cash, I've been playing for 122 game days and I have a little over $200,000.

but still have the same prob... if i could only win another car...

so you recon that drage racing continually to get heaps of cash is the way to go???

Win enough to buy a wee bit faster car like the Savannah RX-7 and always, ALWAYS sell your car for at least 1/4 more times that it's worth. Some poor sap will buy it. For example, I bought the Nissan 300ZX for $30,000 and sold it for $70,000. That's how I started banking it.

The fastest car in this game is the Ford Concept GT. Keep on playing the offical races and win first in every single one of them. EVERY ONE. In the last part of the first season you should get a car called a "Tippo" or something like that. This cars weighs 500 kgs. Its not the fastest car by far but it handles like crazy. you can take a corner at 70 MPH easily. I think thats why you can sell it for mor than 600,000. thats what the rest of my game got build on. I then bought a Lancer(the one with the most HP) and put everything on it. Won all of the other races in the first season until i got the chance to buy the Ford Concept GT. Bought that, put everything on it, and beat the rest of the ppl in all of the other races by 30 or more seconds. Don't sell the lancer yet. Use that car for the very last event race to the right. I have over a million bucks now because i got the Ford Concept GT. And that real old car makes a really good drag racer. I got that in the last part of the first season or the begging of the second. Good luck. By the way, the Viper is freaking horriable in this game. Fors GT beats it by more than 2 secs every time in the drag. more than 20 in regular races( World Tourny):sungl:

Hey man step 3 N/A tune is easy to get. Just wait till season 2 rolls around and then do the touring car event. But don't do the hot hatch untill season 2. Unless you vant to it only gives the step 4 muffler and the group B in season 2 is step 3 turbin for boost cars only. And lastly touring car race unlocks N/A tune 3. U probly already know this but the CLK 430 coupe mercadas is the best one out of them all. :ganja:
