For those who don't know the story and are confused why security are banning new member I will tell it to you.

About 6 months ago, this immature loser decided to cause trouble in our forums, Sam Spellman.

He has huge amounts of aliases and emails to keep on creating new users. His names included IrishPride, Linksfirstchild, Samisback.

He would ruin every thread by cussing and spamming and pretending to have a fight between his usernames. He would try and cover his tracks by saying he wasn't Sam but some other person and occasionally make a normal post.

He is now back as Asianpride, Asianprideisback and Harry 8249.

Mods: If any guy makes a post that has swearing or is just useless and offensive, delete IMMEADIATELY and warn security.

Hmmm...That explains a lot. I see that Sam has gone too far to even try and explain. Even if they were true...

How are you able to tell all these usernames are the same person, if they all=different personalities?

Sam makes an obvious mistake when on C/D he argues with himself. If ever a known username that belongs to Sam argues with himself, it is most likely a smurf of himself.

There's another possibility is that they are telling the truth. it would be really bad if you are actually banning innocent newbies. But, I wasn't here six months ago, so I don't really know.

AsianPride did tell me a story I don' know if it was true.

Also I guess that this forum doesn't go by innocent until proven guilty.

I'm sorry but Spellman can longer be dealt with innocent till proven guilty. It's find him, ban him. If innocent newbies are banned, we are sorry but it's ended like this.

sams last name here was IrishPride, thats why he is a suspect,
and mentioning everything else here makes him a prime suspect, eg, guilty until proven innocent..

Here are Sam's hallmark deeds:

He has 3 or more names at a time and argues some stupid thing (with a lot of cussing) with those three names. (He argues with himself).

He posts on thing and the next post is another one of his names totally changing the subject or just a letter repeating such as:

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr


He follows and pesters Security like a stalker.

He says C/D sucks because it has not enough codes.

And when he is banned, he makes a new email, new username, new annoyance.

Just get an admin to ban his IP address. His computer will not be able to get to the site unless he is a pro hacker. Oh, and post his IP address for other sites. That will limit his bad behavior. And everyone, at every site possible, publish his IP address and tell why and a description of who he is from what we can gather. That will stop him.

Unfortunately, that would be a breach of a Privacy law...

I can no more Publish your IP anywhere but here on CD, than you can mine...

If we make his IP public domain on CD, we will limit his ability to spam other boards that are linked to CD...

Another probelm: Your IP address varies every time you log on if you have dial-up.

There are around 50 variations of IP each time you connect and so you would have to ban every single IP.

Plus there is the problem of using a proxy server to hide your IP.

Some people have Static IPs, and if they don't, its a 99% sure bet that if you block the first half of the IP, they won't be coming back;) (Most Internet Providers (ISPs) keep the first 2 parts of the IP address the same)

I am not Sam, and you have no proof. At least it is not unanimous that I am Sam. The fact that I'm defending and beng NICE doesn't prove anything. You do send a virus in my computer and I'll have the police on you.

Plus, My ip is mostly the same anyways since I'm using cable. So THINKING'm Sam makes you all turn away from me? That is just not right.

Then someone else decided to steal my idea of suspecting Virus, and they caused the havoc - Sam isn't here, so thats the end of it...
