If i am correct, when u beat him you unlock him... i may be wrong though. Hittin him? Sometimes enemies have a attack patters. they take a big attack combo or sumthn on you, and then stiop for a brief period. Try and block all his atatcks, and strike him when he lets his guard down:)

No man beating him doesnt unlock him. Ive beat the hell out of him several times and you cant unlock or play as him...

All you got to do is when he tries to hit you with that same move over and over and over block it (dont get too far away or he will suck you up and dont get too close or he will pick you up and smash you) then he will eventually stop for a few seconds and that gives you the chance to unload your best combos on him, or you could try sidestep attacks that works sometimes. Ive had the best luck beating him with shang tsung's sword combo its fast and does alot of damage, just do the combo as many times as you can over and over like crazy if he hits you start blocking.
