those people didn't have any defense against this, it was just the laziness of nasa that killed them. The shuttle was used too many times, it was due to crash.
Red XII

They should have built a new one.

NASA should have seen this coming if it was that old! It hasnt been on the news here yet...welll...properley..this really does annoy me when things like this happen..al because of nasa..
Genie do you think we should pay respect to those who died by puting something on the site....?

Letting you all know that the shuttle was in reentry, it wasn't headed into space, it was coming back into earth. NASA should've payed more attention to the age of the space craft.
May God Be With Them!

A spaceshuttle took off this morning... and it exploded on take off, from what I hear... the spaceshuttle was built in 1981, so it was not a sign of terorism, 5 men, 2 women lost thier lives today... they had families.. now thier children have no parents... and wives no husband, husbands with no wives..... for dedication to these men and women... I would like to ask everyone, if you have a flag... please use half staf (flag is raised half way), and please... sign your first name, middle initail, and last name... do it for those women and men, and thier families.

yeah, dad woke me up this morning, really upset... and he told me, i started silently crying and said a prayer for the families right then.... it's really sad that had to happen
I did the same thing on 911... Except i knew someone like 911 was going to happen soon... and wasn't surprised, America needed a wake-up call and boy did it get one... i wasn't excpeting this though

Bless the people that was inside the craft at the time as it was not their fault. They'll be a place in heaven for you all.

I made a mistake, that's why I edited it out.
Well... I think the age doesn't really matter. It was just something that was meant to happen, eventually.

do ya think NASA might gt a sew by one of thier family members?

02-02-2003, 02:59 AM
Now that I think about it, it wasn't really NASA's fault. It was just something that was to eventually happen. NASA had no power over this, the dang shuttle was 15,000 feet on the air!

i agree with Unreal people die all the time of worse causes and there isent this kind of commotion. What I think they need is a new.... new space craft using Magnetic Levitation. (Maglev) like the could use the polls of magnets to propell spacecraft without using billions of gallons of fuel that might not help but I think they need to revamp there spaceshuttle just like they did when that ROCKET exploded
