yu-gi-oh! dark duel stories

Can anyone tell me how to build the deck in Dark Duel Stories.
My son just got the game for his birthday and is having trouble getting started. I have entered passwords, but can't you just pick from cards already installed in the game? Any help would be
great!! Thanks

no not all the time it depends on what your duelist lv. is example:card says duel. lv. 51 your stats duel. lv. 49 you cant use the card or the card capacity and im not talkin about you cant have over or less 40 cards thers a # at the top of the screen like 265/300 the number on the right of the slash is the card capacity number you cant surrpass if he has a card in the the build deck screen that has a number of 35 he can use it
