Need Help With Harry Potter Game

I need help with the harry potter and the Chamber of secrets game on my PC. I don't understand how at the beginning in the ground there are those squiggly line things (LIke a spring) How do I use those to get up high. Or to get the cards I need?

ok well i think you need to try to jump over them but land on top of them to bounce high. If thats doesnt help then i will get my friend Proprisey to come online and help you as he is an expert..lol
