I traded a dratinia to my red version, but when i talked to the lady i remembered that my dratitna knew waterfall. The lady still let me trade. When i played my red version i used waterfall and it was cool. Also, waterfall in the kanto is a TM not an HM.

That's impossible... As Waterfall will not appear as an "outside of battle" move.

Yes, the Waterfall move does appear in the Red/ Blue/ Yellow versions. I'm saying that the move doesn't appear outside of battle. In the old versions, it only works during battle. Outside of battle will not work, as there are no waterfalls to climb.
