So who had a commodore 64 to start of in the world of gaming?
there was some classics to it such as batman, + dizzy (the egg) platform, they were great at my young age but the problem was they took round 45 mins 2 load up!!! if not longer, lol
but hey it only gets better :tup:

Ahhh the old days !
IM currently having a big old hardware phase. so im looking for a commodore 64. Also i cant wait to get an Amiga again !

thats right, reason why it took so long to load...had to load it all of a cassette, lol - i'd load it up hav dinner hav a bath come back and still be waitin for ONE game to load! lol ah the good old times...

i had an amiga back in the day, didnt it use disks tho? i had loads of demos for it lol thats prob y. i had a demo of that dizzy the egg game, where u do a put the peices together puzzle at the end. that game was called CHRISTMAS dizzy, tho there was nothing christmasy about it! did anyone ever play superfrog? if so did u find all the secret entrances behind walls where you could collect lucazade bottles? :P

thanks nitrous i feel really young now lol
the drawing on it was fun...well ok not really after you manged to get through the book of instructions to get it up all you could do was colour in little blocks one at a time...how things hav changed! :D

Uhm it may be incredibly late but...
I used to have a Commodore
I think I had some game with a helicopter and some game with squares chasing each other.
It was hell to boot up though, took friggin long, like 30 minutes.
But you could write your own game! by typing tons and tons and tons of codes

didn't know you could do that but then again i was only like 7 when i had it! lol i remember having a batman game and dizzy the egg i had quite a few but i don't remember them now

I kept mine as long as I could, but in the end it didn't work anymore, quite sad.

Mega Drive II took over many hours of my life! lol Sonic! Sensible Soccer! Aladdin! Super Hang-On....i actually still have it and get it out time to time to have a little dabble on it! lol
