Need Help With Cheats

I am playing American McGee's Alice.
How come when I warp to another level my weapons disappear?
I can't get the 'give' or the 'qive all' cheat to work after I warp.
Please help!!!!!

I hope this helps:

Cheat mode:
Enable the console window in the game options. Then, press ~ during game play and enter one of the following codes at the console window to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Effect /Code

Get all weapons / wuss
Toggle god mode / god
Toggle no clip / noclip
All weapons / give all
Spawn indicated item / give <item name> Need to type the name of the item
Set health level / health <1-100> Choose health level from 1-100
First person view / cg_cameradist -45
Return to default view / cg_cameradist 128
Level select / map <map name> Need to type name of the map
Toggle frame rate display / fps <0 or 1> Choose from 0 and 1
Disable enemy AI / notarget

Note: I'm not sure if you need the < > when you do the stuff above. If it doesn't work without the < >, use them.
