yea.....this just a frustration that could be fixed.
i'm sure others have read threw post after post after post in a thread, ready to reply, but then they disscover that its closed.
i sujest to releave members of there frustration that u have notice or something brside the thread link......just like the one that says its moved or whatever
That's a good idea, but there is already something like that... If you look to the left of the threads list in a section, you will see a little yellow sign or figure and for the threads that are closed, there is a closed lock over top of that sign...

Threads here are usually closed, moved, etc. by me. So, if you are reading a thread, always look at my post for a sign that says Closed, Moved, etc. Again, this should help you understand who did it. I usually give a small reason why I did it, but if I didn't put a reason, it should be obvious to you and others why I made that decision (spam, flaming, completely pointless, and so on).
Security and Cid also put a sign in their post, so always check the last post in a thread. If you didn't get to post, well too bad. All useful threads will not be closed. But if for some reason they are, make a new one and hope this one will not be closed.
As for a better sign, you have got to be kidding! While looking over forums, threads have a sign if they are stickied, closed, open, or whetever, next to them. And when you are going to post, instead of it saying 'Post a Reply' it says 'Closed'. What more could you want?
