PSX anyone? (playstation 2.5)

Has anyone here heard of it?

Its sonys new console to fill the gap between the ps2 and ps3.

It will be called the PSX, using the same graphics core and technology, only with some more x-box features, such as a HDD and new addition of a dvd burner.

It also looks nice :).

No. It's a DVD player, and game player(like PS2). But it also has a DVD burner/recorder, and a broadband connection, and 120gig HDD.

actuallly whoever said XBox is better, i disagree with that because everyone knows Sony is the best they make the best TVs, the best radios, the best games especially and besides on XBox i mean i have never played XBox and i do not intend to but i that the Xbox has bad controls you know like it takes a certain number of buttons to shoot, to run, or to do any other actions in an XBox game, at least that whats i heard

PS3 will rock the X-box out of the room. when it comes out, this PSX idea i don't think will work out to well for them.

120gb hdd is over the top, i dont think no one will get that many game saves, or updates from the internet.

Stop making fun of the x-box! It was first to have a hdd, now there all copying, it is the most technologically advanced console, but just dont have the reputation of the playstation.

This PSX is pretty cool looking, it a tivo, dvd and funstation all in one metal box. If it had wireless joy pads as standard and a keyboard it would be great.

i'd admit the x-box has the power (at the moment) but PS2 rules on both its own advances and its range of games.

Ahem, i do not take your comment kindly. Because i am chinese, and i know there is a difference. For one, Japan didn't get the damn fu*cking opium that started killing the country, and second, we didn't attack Pearl Harbor. uhh i saw the movie Pearl Harbor on HBO and the Japanese actually did attack Pearl Harbor which was the turning point after the second world war and i could prove it....the Japanese planes that bombed Pearl Harbor had a red rising sun on the sides that was your so called "symbol" of Japan
