That's true, the 3 God cards are restricted. I think I know one reason why. What are the 3 God cards' attributes? I think it's supposed to be "Gold", which is not one of the 6 attributes on any of the legal cards. What the "Gold" attribute means, I do not know. I don't think the official English Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game rules are about to make any major changes like this, therefore I think for now Upper Deck will keep things the way they are until they find such a time when they may add the "Gold" Attribute to the already listed 6, and maybe with any luck the Egyptian God Cards might be legal to use in tournaments.

The attribute is 'Divine'. Actually, to be more specific, the cards aren't even "real" cards. You can get very techincal as to why you can't play these cards. Obelisk is a Ritual monster w/o a Ritual spell card because he is a Ritual Monster card (blue border), and Slifer and Ra have no effect text to state how the ???? in Ra's ATK and DEF or the X in Slifer's ATK and DEF are found. You can go on and say the show's rules, but that doesn't pertain to the real game.

I understand. I know you can use them in "Yu-Gi-Oh!-The Sacred Cards" for Gameboy Advance, and when you have 'em, the game tells you what you can and can't do with the cards, similar to what you said. It's sad that none of the rules on the cards can be used in the real game.:cry: They would be pretty nice to have though, just for the sake of collecting.
