I have ****ty 56K. Im hoping to have DSL to get Xbox live. High speed interntet cost alot of money, well for me at least.

I'm currently on 56K, running at 53.3K. I contracted DSL (1.5MB) about 3-4 days ago. I am waiting for it to be activated, and receive my modem. I use MSN 8.0.

I received my modem on Friday and it runs from 1.4Mbps to 1.5Mbps.

I don't think anyone has/had dial-up by choice.

Gimpy, what do you mean "for half the year?" You've had it that long, or just have it for that long?
