Is this possible?
Hey all-Gotta question for you pros out there, knowing the answer is probably NO
Is it possible to Install a game, like Grand theft auto 3 for example onto a cd & rather then have to install it onto my computer just run it directly off the cd? Or does it have to load entries into the registry & stuff? thanks |

Unfortuantly, that isnt possable. As all games must be installed on your drive so that it can read, your last saved game etc...
Heres how to look at stuff on your game.(Example) Start menu>Run>"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Motocross Madness 2\" Hope that answerd your question. |

carrying on from wot scrat has said...
and another reason u can't do that is that to be able to copy it to a cd and run the laoded game from it would mean that you would be making a copy of the game which is actually illegal, lol
and a lot of games hav software that don't allow that anyway. so in a word NO, like u thought, sorry. |
