Silent Hill 2 rocks and it isn't just scary.. its the pure epitome of fear.. The scare factor is through the roof thats why I love it. I've beat that game about 6 times and I still get spooked.. the environment being so misty or dark.. its great.

Indeed.. the series is odd... Silent Hill itself had a great story. It was like the later Resident Evils when it came to fear.. the factor was decent.. nothing spectacular. Then 2 scared the pants off of me on numerous occassions. Three goes back to the roots of the story.. it still has a high scare factor but it will never touch that of two.

Silent Hill 2 is one of the scariest games that i know off....i was so afraid that i didn't want to go home alone i'm too scared to play it out on my own.....
But it's a really good game

Good choice man.. game is great.. You can't be steered wrong if you want a sweet puzzle/fear game.. the scare factor roXXorz

Ive played every Resident Evil there is, But i have only played SilentHill 3. By the way you talk about SilentHill2...I want it. And in 3, i find it kinda sucks that i didnt get to really explore silent hill itself while i was there.
