Really I just joined now so I can give my 2 cents worth. Although I own an XBOX (which I think is a great console), I believe PS2 is an awsome system. I play it at my g/f's house with her dad (boy does she get mad). To me, PS2 gets 2 thumbs way up. As for gamecube, I'm not too fond of it. I've played it a few times and the controllers just aren't the best in my opinion. After a year my friends joystick on the controller just kind of flops around, it doesn't stay in place. There are a few good games for it however. All in all i still love my XBOX. It's nice being able to save games straight to the system instead of a memory card.

As for the price argument I overheard earlier... have any of you guys thought about waiting until the price goes down? I just went out the other day and bought James Bond 007 in ... Agent Under Fire for only 17 bucks. Now that my friends is spending wisely . Btw, yes I am a big james bond fanatic.

Yes im on my moms good side again, i can finally get an Xbox. I bought a cheap game call capcom vs SNK, and I never heard the end of it from my friends, they still call me cheap till this day, some friends they are.

Between saving up money for games and paying for car insurance, its a pain. Next on my list for XBOX is Splinter Cell and GTA. They are having a 2 for $20 on a select few games at Sam Goody's.

Also once the price goes down(again the bargain shopper I am), I'm looking forward to buying need for speed underground. I played it on PS2 at my g/f's house and... dang.... its really nice. Every little detail on the car can be modified to your liking. It's my recommended choice.

I can get any Xbox game made by Microsoft for like $15 (for new ones) because my dad works at Microsoft.
