Hi!
I need counsel on one thing... I changed some components of my PC, recently, and now I'm installing some old games I have wanted to play for a long time. But there are some which are giving me some problems. Here are the infos: - The installation goes well, but when I try to play the game, it just appears a message asking to insert the disk on the drive (and it's inside it)... Anyway, my operational system is the Windows XP (professional edition), and I was wondering if it's something to do with it?! But I'm not sure, cause there are some games that run perfectly, and are much older.... As you can see, I'm in need of help... |

This is definitely odd. Windows XP does have problems running old games and you might have to find the EXE file and tell it to run like it was on an older verions of windows. I don't feel like that could be the problem though. Are you sure,
A) that the driver is installed correctly B) their isn't anything on the CD. (Scratches, food, etc...) |

it'll b to do with the compatibility, also i had trouble like that when loading the sims asking for disc 1 and it was in the drive, i re-installed it throught game (an option of the sims)
but in general there will b some games that just will not play on XP wotever u do. depends on the game and the compatibility |

Usually a google search has the best answers in this case.
