Who's Hyped about Fable?

This game is gonna be a pretty big revolution in Role play and with the power of the Xbox behind it be prepared to immerse yourself and lock yourself away for months trying paths to become the best in the world at whatever u want to do.

if the game can harness the good elements of a great RPG (lets take FF for example) as well as this new customisation and experience element we should be looking at one of the greatest RPG's ever made!

I'm hyped because not being a person really immersed in RPG's I have been getting into a couple lately and loving it so this game, and to have a decent RPG on the Xbox should be awesome

The Game is scheduled for release come July
thinking of pre ordering from America but who knows if that's worldwide great!

It's an original RPG. The character you play as has no personality of his own. You shape every aspect of your character, from appearance to combat specialties to whether he's good or evil. You gain fame in the game. If you're a great hero, people will praise you wherever you go. If you're an infamous murderer, people will run when they see you. You can buy a shop, get married, have children, cast magic, use weapons, earn battle scars, and much more that I haven't mentioned.

Sounds pretty interesting. So is it kind of like a Sims type game? What exactly do you do? Is it basically like you conrtol this person's life or what?

Well no it's going to be an in-depth RPG, with swords and magic and stuff. I don't think it will be much like The Sims.

The game starts when you're in your teens (I think) and ends when you die of old age. You don't control the person's life, you play as him.

Its a Western RPG. If you like Japanese ones way better and want a story line and soap opera type thing, than stay away from this game for this is a completly different type of RPG.

i wouldnt call fable a western type game oddball. now u want a western type game, Red Dead Revolver. one game im sure to get! :beer:

He means western RPG as in Fable is made by people in the western hemisphere, whereas most RPGs are Eastern.

i guess u coudl say that its like real life. i mean that u can die from old age get scars and stuff build yer muscles up and everything
