Hot Wheels Velocity X

HI ..... I've just started playing Hot Wheels Velocity X on my PC and have a hassle with loading saved data ..... I save the data, name the file etc .... it says it's successfully saved ......... come back ...... load it next time, it says it's loading successfully etc etc ...... and then nothing ...... back to main menu ... chosse number of players etc .
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to reinstall?
Oh, I was playing in joyride, but that shouldn't make a difference, should it??
Please, help someone!! This is a very enjoyable game and I'd like to move along with it ...

Hey people .....

I know I'm new here and heaps of you have obviously been talking for a while ..... but I honestly need some help with this game!

A reinstallation does not help with being able to access saved data.

Scenario ... game played .... data saved check ..... notification successfully saved ....... load game check .... saved game loaded successfully check ..... then back to main menu.

Does anybody have any ideas of what's going on with this?

best thing i can suggest is leave the computer with the game on overnight and all.
