I got rid of Steam because it totally screwed up my Half-Life. Luckily my Counter-Strike was spared...I might just get the steam with CS 1.6 on it from PC Zone though...

Well, one thing is I couldn't play it whenever I didn't have my internet connected because Steam sort of "updated" it. I think it updated the Half-Life Engine or something. The auto-update feature is great, saves loads of time downloading in bulk everynow and then, these updates are also sometimes needed to play on servers. you just need to be patient. It hasnt screwed your install at all your just impatient

Hah! Fair enough man. I just didn't like how it downloading three things at once. I tried to stop the downloads but I didn't know how. It's quicker if you download one thing at a time. Well, I installed Steam again and if anyone wants add me then it's sum41rules777@hotmail.com
