Golden Sun 1 help please!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there,

new to the forum, looks good!

I have recently bought Golden Sun for GBA, and I am truly loving it. I've been stuck a few times, but have always overcome the obstacle. But now, I've just had it!!!!

It seems silly, but I am stuck in Venus lighthouse. I've got to the point where I have changed the sand waterfalls around by pressing the switch. I believe that I should now use the sand waterfall to cross over to a door, but I just can't do it! I keep getting pushed off the end. How do I get across this waterfall, I've tried so many times and I just can't get across, it doesn't seem possible.

The point where I am in the lighthouse is the room with a ladder, a pillar next to that, a door going up in the left, and that damned sand waterfall falling into the right hand reservoir. I will be forever indebtted to the person who tells me what the hell I'm supposed to do!!

The thing is to press up while your crossing the sandslide so that you can apply an equal force to that of the sandslide. And by the way dont double post ok?

While we're at it, i need help as well. i need some tips for beating saturos/ menardi and the fusion dragon. can somebody help ME? Oh by the way i have the djinn comboes for some really good classes for isaac and garet. if somebody gives me some decent info then i will tell you what they are.

Ok. I'm new here but I will try my best to write this. I am also stuck at Saturous and Menardi, but I have beaten them once. The strategy is to take out Menardi first. TRY TO KILL HER QUICK! She can really hurt you with her death slash thing, so use ALL of your djinn attacks and summon combos on her and don't stop until she's dead.Then take out Saturous. I was at really low health when I beat them, so I died on fusion dragon...... but that's my way to beat them. A good way to gain expereince before the fight is if you save it before you get on the platform that takes you to the top of the tower.when you do that, reset your gameboy. bring up your file,and fight the monster in the room. sometimes it drops a good item. if you save and comtinue in that room the same monster will be there every time.keep fighting it and you will gain expereince. another good way to kill them quick is to use a gameshark or action replay. that's it for what i gotta say. bye!

yeah menardi is really annoying, but the most annoying (sorry if im too obvious) is fusion dragon because of his/her mars djinn attacks this is a surprise to most but i had issac (rocky) my healer garret (flamey) my physical attaker Ivan (windy) my spell caster and Mia (Icy) my secondary healer
