This Thread Is Where You Can Talk About The Upcoming Gran Turismo 4

I got a lot of info for this game.... and at the moment are true.

1. Complete GT4 Proluge and you can carry the cars you get over to the full GT4 game.
2. Loads of new tracks like Hong Kong, New York and even Las Vegas with a Drag Strip
3. Nurburgring Nordschleife will be in GT4 < an old track that you little kids wont know lol (I got a video showing this as well)
4. Most of the old cars from GT1 & 2 make a return along with the 2nd cars list.
5. Most of the cars from GT3 will be in 4 and a lot of concept cars will also been seen.
6. New replay views
7. A new car show room to show your cars off and to even possibley print them.
^^ the point in printing.... I have no idea lol

Things that wont be in GT4.
Crash Damage and maybe even the Race body kits which was only seen in GT2

Gran Turismo Is Supposed To Be The Real Driving Simulator But It Cant Be Cause There Isnt Any Damage I Played GT2 And The Damage Physics Were Rubbish You Hit The Wall Get A Slight Dent On The Front Wing And The Car Pulls To The Left Or Right

hmmmmm hello GT fan here.... made GT3 thread and posted in here.
Still no there are not that many GT fans on c/d. Some like it... others dont it's as simple as that.

A Track Editor would be good silverstone as well but these are just wish lists and it wont happen... sorry.

some people dont like the game because they think they can go fast all the way around and have no problem taking corners....its not like that...if u read it its THE ULTIMATE DRIVING SIMULATOR so u will have to brake when u come to a corner u must take it at the right speed.....anywayz....i think only us three here are gt fans but this thread and the gt3 thread is still going!!

Well all those tracks will be in GT4.
Anyway I have it on good info that GT4 has been pushed back (again) to the 5th December 2004....this is the lastest date for the UK so far. The US are expected to see the game towards the end of November, with Japan expecting to see the game mid November.

hmmm UK people.
if you put a 2 before the 5 you then get the 25th.....<< ha ha christmas day when kids get money = A lot of money for PD... they sure do know how to make money.

Ok really sorry for the double post but I wanted to get this thread going again as I just found out some rather shocking news

Sony has used today's Tokyo Game Show to announce that its long, long-awaited racer Gran Turismo 4 has had its online content excised in order to meet a pre-Christmas release date. The decision, while inevitably disappointing for many gamers, at least dismisses the speculation that Polyphony Digital's auto-fest would be delayed until 2005.

Gran Turismo 4 is expected to be released on 17 December in Europe. Meanwhile, Sony will be releasing a second, online-friendly version of its PS2 GT title in 2005. Strong rumours from within Sony and Polyphony Digital had suggested that online problems were the primary cause of the delay to Gran Turismo 4, with the team encountering serious difficulty in getting the online racing modes up to scratch. It seems likely that Sony took a decision to simply drop that functionality entirely from the game in order to ensure that it hit its Christmas release date.

For me it's not much of problem as I had no intention of racing online. Oh yea most of the info I find has never failed me yet... so I am sorry to say that this is rock solid fact!!!
