I was playin checkers over MSN Messenger.... I got beat (don't ask lol)
Anyway I wanted to play Billiards and I got this message. ActiveX Objects Missing Messenger games require ActiveX objects in order to play. Please verify that you have the ability to install ActiveX objects on this machine and relaunch your game. I have all scripting ebabled and stuff but if Active X is to do with Java Script then there is no hope for me as Java Script still don't work on this PC. So can anyone help me out here? |

It doesn't have something to do with Java Script. Maybe you have a program that is blocking activeX objects because they could be spyware?

hmm don't think so. I have full Norton Anti virus installed with fire wall turned on.
I do know Nortan does not stop spyware entering the PC because when I run the Adware remover proggy it picks spyware up in the cookie files. What I do need is a spyware firewall. I can play the other games on MSN Messenger even tho they use ActiveX, it's Billiards and chess that give me the ActiveX message for some strange reason. Edit: Problem solved... I'm using MSN Explorer that I just found on this PC. Last edited by Nitrous; 10-24-2004 at 02:22 PM.. |
